Dedication: This is for Fireness and Laura, who wanted the backstory behind "Fantasy" - how Reid and Morgan "got Hotch in on it".
Summary: Reid rolled his eyes. "I'm not telling our boss - our friend - that even though he's fragile right now because his wife is kicking him out for some reason, probably because she's a bitch, he can't, in fact, stay with us, despite the fact that we invited him to so that he won't be alone while he's going through his impending divorce, because my boyfriend doesn't want to have to keep his hands off me for any length of time."

Morgan pulled Spencer closer, kissing him softly, his hand sliding up under his lover's undershirt to stroke the smooth skin of his lower back. Reid sighed quietly, receiving the attention happily, but not really responding.

Derek pulled back, looking at him quizzically. "What is it?"

The genius took a deep breath. "I don't think we should have sex while Hotch is staying with us."

"What? I did not agree to that. No deal." Morgan said insistently.

"It's not a deal. It's a warning. I'm not having sex with you while he's here." Reid said firmly, standing his ground.

"Then you tell him he can't come here!"

Reid rolled his eyes.

Morgan sighed. "You know I want to help him. I just don't understand why helping him means we can't have sex."

"Well, for one, the guest room shares a wall with the one we keep having to repaint because the headboard bangs into it so hard when you fuck me."

"So we won't have 'headboard-banging sex'. That doesn't mean no sex."

"How about the fact that I'm incapable of being quiet? Remember The Bathroom Incident?"

"You can learn to be a silent fuck. We can practice right now. Or we can gag you." Morgan suggested, smirking.

"I'm especially not having kinky bondage sex with you while Hotch is in the next room."

"Why not?"

"Because I'll be really uncomfortable!" Spencer insisted. Then he paused. "You have that look," he said distrustfully.

"What look?"

"The one that got us having sex in that bathroom stall in the first place. Your 'I'm-about-to-get-my-boyfriend-into-something-really-dirty' look."

"Okay, first of all, you were an active participant in The Bathroom Incident, okay? I'm not the one that brought lube to a bar. You were dirty before you even met me."

Reid smiled. "Fair. So what's the second thing?"

Morgan definitely had that look. He slid his hand down to Spencer's hip, rubbing his thumb just under the line of his underwear. The pale man shifted closer almost involuntarily - Derek knew how to play him like an instrument.

"I just think," the older man began, leaning in to kiss his boyfriend's neck, "that having Aaron in the next room might be," he took the genius's earlobe between his teeth, "kinda hot."

Reid tilted his head to the side to offer better access, slipping his arms around Morgan's neck. "The answer's no," he said, with absolutely no conviction.

They went out for a few drinks on the way home, at a different bar than they'd used to go to with the team. When, after a few beers, Hotch asked about the change of venue, Reid replied, "Yeah, we don't go there anymore. There was an Incident."

"Long story," Morgan cut in.

"Derek hit the bouncer in the face and we got banned," Reid filled in.

Hotch looked at Morgan. "Why'd you do that?"

Derek gave his boyfriend a look that clearly said, 'why can't you hold your damn alcohol?' and replied, more firmly, "It's a long. Story."

Fortunately for him, Hotch was buzzed enough not to push the issue. The Unit Chief looked from Reid to Morgan. "Did anyone ever notice my wife is a bitch?"

Spencer lay a comforting hand on their boss's forearm. "We assumed you knew."

When first presented with the idea that he stay with Reid and Morgan, Hotch was uncomfortable. He knew they were together, and it was widely speculated by the team - Garcia in particular - that they were, as she put it, "jumping each other's bones around the clock" - which was not a situation he wanted to get in the middle of. He really hadn't expected his marriage not to work out. He didn't want to look at his coworkers' happy relationship when he was just getting used to the idea that he didn't have one to return to anymore. But when he'd mentioned to Gideon that he didn't think it was a good idea, the older man had told him something that stuck with him. Jason had told Hotch that people were always trying to connect to him but that he never allowed it; that he couldn't go through the rest of his life as a mystery, even to his friends - unless he wanted to spend that time lonely.

Hotch had never let anyone get close. His marriage had been lonely. He hadn't been able to be there for her, because he was never home, and she'd gotten tired of being married to 'a ghost of a husband'. He didn't want to be a ghost for the rest of his life. That didn't mean he wasn't apprehensive.

But the first morning had been surprisingly easy. He'd showered and dressed and come downstairs to the kitchen to find Spencer, dressed in flannel pajama bottoms and what was clearly Morgan's t-shirt, making omelettes.

"What do you like in yours?" Hotch looked like he was about to refuse, so Spencer added, "I'm making them anyway. If I don't feed Derek - well, just ask his family to tell you the fire department story," he smiled.

"Anything's fine," Hotch conceded. "So what does Morgan have to do in return?"

"He cleans."

"But...isn't he kind of a slob?"

"Not if he wants to get fed," Spencer smirked. "We have a system. He does cleaning, laundry, and heavy lifting; I do anything with math or money, anything that could be a fire hazard, and keep him from forgetting things. Where he left his keys, his mother's birthday..."

"It sounds like you're quite a team." Hotch smiled.

"You just have to promise you won't try to help out while you're here. If you offer, he'll get you doing his jobs, and then he'll get complacent and you'll have to fight your way out of here."

Hotch laughed, and received his omelette with thanks. Morgan came down and received his own, and Reid excused himself to go shower.

"Spencer doesn't eat breakfast. His version of breakfast is coffee." Morgan explained, rolling his eyes. "And his version of lunch is coffee. His version of dinner is ice cream. If I didn't let him feel like he had to cook for me, he'd never eat real food."

"Symbiotic." Hotch commented.

It was almost unsettling, how easily he seemed to fit into their routine. Spencer just started cooking more, somehow picking up on what Aaron liked; Morgan added his laundry to the pile, and turned out to iron better than Haley did. They went to work and came back to Morgan's and had fun. When he needed space they seemed to just know, and when he needed company, there was always someone there to provide it - Morgan to watch sports with, or Reid to debate about psychology with.

Spencer gave in within a week.

Hotch was lying in bed, trying to stop thinking about Haley and Jack long enough to get to sleep, when he heard it. He was used to hearing their voices quietly through the wall, sometimes talking about him, things like Morgan asking, "do you think Aaron's okay?" or Reid - "God what a bitch. How could she do this to him?" - but not like this. Never Spencer's soft laugh and Morgan's low moan, "yeah, baby, just like that..."

Hotch shifted uncomfortably. He should've known it would happen, that they must have sex, but... He tried not to listen, but he couldn't help hearing. He closed his eyes and it wasn't his wife's face behind his eyelids anymore, as his imagination filled in what he couldn't know. It turned out that Aaron Hotchner's imagination was dirtier than he'd expected it to be.

~Morgan's hands in Reid's hair, holding him so he can thrust up into his mouth...I bet Reid's so easy to dominate, he's so eager to please...~

Spencer's muffled moan sure sounded like he had something in his mouth.

There were times Hotch wished he wasn't a profiler. He felt ashamed as he reached down to grip his responding cock. ~It's been too long~

The next day at work, he watched them sort through evidence together, and couldn't mistake the feeling in his chest. Longing. They were so easy and comfortable together; they were best friends, and by the sounds he'd heard the previous night, they definitely had a satisfying sexual relationship. Hotch wanted what they had. He wanted to belong to someone that way - he'd never had a lover he felt he could really be himself with. He'd never had anyone he felt he could really be himself with.

He knew he was just lonely because his marriage was falling down around his feet. But he couldn't help thinking that those two were seriously threatening his long-standing heterosexuality.

A few nights later, Aaron opened the bathroom door, a towel wrapped around his waist, to see Reid standing in the hall, looking like a deer in headlights. The doctor was dressed only in an old football jersey that, well way too big for him, was barely long enough to cover him to a decent degree.

Hotch looked quizzically at Spencer. "Are those...ligature marks?"

Reid went white. "I don't know what you're talking about."

Aaron grabbed the younger man's wrist, examining it more closely. "They are."

Spencer blushed furiously, and reluctantly nodded.

Hotch relished the ability to look completely straight-faced and calm. "You know, you can buy special handcuffs that are padded inside."

The look on the genius's face was priceless. He could not meet his boss's eyes as he asked, in a very small voice, "Do you think you could hand me the bottle of liquid soap under the sink?

Complying, Aaron asked, "You don't buy special lubrication products?"

Reid looked like he might cry. "Ran out," he answered quickly, taking the bottle and rushing back to his and Derek's bedroom.

~~~
Hotch thought they couldn't surprise him anymore, until one night he heard Spencer say, "Derek? ...Do you think Aaron's...sexy?" Aaron could feel himself flush.
Morgan's voice, "Do you?"
Reid sounded upset. "When did he get hot? I never thought he was hot before! But then the other night, he was wearing a towel, and talking about handcuffs and lube, and -"
"Spencer," Morgan cut him off. "It's okay to think he's attractive. Just like your crush on that singer you like."
"Chris Daughtry is not living with us. Or our boss."
"Hotch is straight, remember? You know it's never gonna happen. So it's the same. You just add him to your hot-list and life goes on." Morgan said reassuringly.
"You aren't mad?"
Morgan scoffed. "Hey, he's been on my list for over a year."
In the next room, Hotch's eyes were wide. ~Reid is attracted to me? And Morgan? This can't be good.~
But he couldn't help the thrill down his spine.
~~~

Hotch was coming to the conclusion that Derek Morgan just did not wear shirts often enough. It was spring, becoming summer, and apparently this meant that Derek was not prepared to be fully dressed more often than was necessary. On one hand, Aaron admired how comfortable he was in his own body. On the other, he just admired Derek's body.

It was a rare day off, and apparently yard work was also Morgan's job, because while Spencer was just shuffling around the kitchen, bleary-eyed, making coffee, the black man was mowing the lawn. Shirtless.

Reid came over to where Aaron was standing by the window, handing him a cup of coffee. Calmly sipping his own, the genius followed the line of Hotch's sight.

"He's just got a perfect body," Reid commented casually. Then he gave Aaron a knowing look over his coffee cup, "...don't you think?"

Hotch laughed nervously. "Uh, yeah, I'm ... a little jealous," he covered, turning away from the window.

Later that day, Spencer stepped into the shower with his boyfriend, pulling him into a kiss. Morgan pulled away after a moment. "Where's Hotch?"

"Went out to visit Jack and check out some apartments," the genius answered, slipping his arms around his boyfriend's neck, stealing another kiss. "He wants you, y'know."

"What?"

"He was checking you out this morning. Along with half the neighborhood. You really should wear a shirt if you don't want people looking at you," Reid stated factually.

"Aaron was checking me out?" Morgan seemed to need a moment to process this. "That's..."

"Hot?" Reid supplied, grinning.

"C'mon, Spence. We don't want him to be attracted to me. I'm taken," Derek said, settling his arms around Spencer's waist.

"You can have sex with Hotch if I can have sex with Chris," Reid offered.

"Isn't Chris married?"

"For now," Spencer admitted. "But Hotch has shown us that married crushes can sometimes become available and conveniently attracted to us," he finished optimistically.

"I'm not gonna have sex with Hotch. He's on the rebound, I wouldn't want to lead him on. And it's weird that you want me to have sex with another guy, y'know."

"I'm secure in our relationship. You couldn't live without me." Reid smiled brightly.

"Probably not." Morgan smiled back, stealing a kiss.

"It's too bad Hotch isn't attracted to me."

"You think it's a good idea for you to have sex with him?"

"No. But I think it's an excellent idea for us to have sex with him."

Morgan stared at Reid. "You want us to have a threesome with Hotch?"

"In an alternate reality where he would go for that and it wouldn't make him more messed up, yes. I would," Spencer shrugged.

"Well, in that alternate reality, I'd be on board," Morgan admitted with a small smile.

"We are so secure in our relationship," the doctor said proudly.

Derek smiled. "We should get an award."

~~~
It was two am when Hotch knocked on Morgan and Reid's bedroom door. Hearing a muffled noise that sounded a little like "What?" he opened the door. Morgan was squinting at him, clearly half-asleep. The sheets barely covered his lower body, he was obviously naked. Spencer was sprawled out next to him, face down, also naked, but with no such luck - his long, pale body was completely exposed. Hotch blinked and tried to look at Morgan's face.
"We have a case, we need to get to the office ASAP," the Unit Chief said quickly, and shut the door.
Derek shook Reid awake. The younger man did not appreciate this, he made an angry mumble and buried his face deeper in the pillow.
"Spencer," Derek said forcefully, "We have to get to work. And Hotch just saw you naked."
Reid opened his eyes and looked up. "What?!"
"Hotch came into tell us we have a case. And if you haven't noticed..."
Reid looked down at himself, and sighed. "Why do I always have to embarrass myself? You're all, 'oh, I'm comfortable with my own nudity' and shit, but I'm never going to be able to look Hotch in the face now."
"You wanted to have sex with him." Morgan pointed out, getting out of bed and digging in drawers for clean underwear.
"It's different if the other person's naked too. Besides, alternate reality." Spencer got out of bed, and Derek passed him some underwear from the drawer.
"You have nothing to be ashamed of, y'know." Morgan told Spencer as they dressed. "I'm not the standard for male beauty."
The genius smiled at his boyfriend. "I beg to differ."
~~~

Hotch pulled Reid aside when they got to the airstrip. "I'm sorry about earlier," he said honestly. "Morgan said I could come in, and I -"

"It's okay, Hotch." Reid said with a small smile. "My boss saw me naked. It's embarrassing, but not the most embarrassing thing Derek's ever gotten me into."

"I'll bet that one's an interesting story," Hotch smiled back, and they headed for the plane.

~~~
Hotch found an apartment, and Morgan, Reid and Gideon insisted on helping him move in. It was a long day but a good one, spent talking to his friends and having a few beers along the way. But still, Aaron wasn't free of his new and frustrating attraction.
Morgan was wearing a sleeveless shirt, and his arms were ... well, they were good arms to have, and not only in terms of heavy lifting. And Spencer ... Spencer wore a t-shirt that fit and actual jeans, low-rise, hip-hugging jeans at that; Hotch had never been with another man, never deviated from the straight and narrow, but he looked at Reid in those and wanted to fuck him.
Gideon came over and stood next to him. "I think you should go for it," the older man said calmly, knowing the other men were out of earshot.
"What?" Hotch asked, looking up from Spencer's butt.
"You're obviously attracted to them. I think they would enjoy it." Jason explained casually.
Aaron stared at his best friend. "You're telling me I should have ... a threesome, with two of my subordinates?"
"If you're worried about their relationship, well, I believe they would welcome you into it, if that was what you wanted. Or if it isn't ... they've been together for over a year. They would survive disappointment."
"You think they want to...be with me?" Aaron asked. He'd never thought of that possibility, had thought about sex but never the aftermath. Or at least, never a good aftermath.
"They don't want you to move out." Gideon told him, with a knowing look, leaving Hotch to his thoughts.
~~~

Strategically, Gideon left early, leaving the other three to the last of the unpacking and the rest of the case of beer. Reid said something cute, and Morgan laughed and kissed him quickly, and Hotch was momentarily paralyzed with wanting them.

"Fuck it." Hotch said aloud, and they turned to look at him. Aaron met Spencer's eyes, and he must've seen in them what he needed to, because he walked up to him, said, "I'm sorry, Derek," and pulled Reid close and kissed him firmly.

Spencer didn't respond and Aaron drew back, an apology on his lips - but he never got to say it, because Spencer grabbed him and kissed him back, the genius's hands sliding into his hair, and all Hotch could think was, ~finally~.

When Reid ended the kiss, they both looked at Morgan for approval - he looked from his boyfriend to his boss and back, then shrugged and said, "Yeah, okay," and went to Hotch, fisting a hand in his shirt and kissing him, hard and deep, and all Hotch could think was, ~finally~.
