Reid: Do you think it's weird that I knew that ballad?
Elle: Reid, I don't know how you know half the stuff you know, but I'm glad you do.
Reid: Do you think that's why I can't get a date?
Elle: Have you ever asked anyone? [Reid shifts his eyes] That's why you can't get a date.

Morgan had finally finished his paperwork and decided to go bug the last person who was in the building besides the cleaning crew. He sat on the edge of Reid's desk waiting for the man to look up. "Hey," He said a smirk forming on his facial features when the young male finally gazed up at him.

At the sight of the smirk Spencer already realized what was about to unfold. Derek's usual teasing was about to erupt like a volcano. Sighing he waited, it was if Morgan was a personal attacker or something. Reid only wished he could see why Derek teased him all the time, Spencer was a profiler and it was his job to figure these kinds of things out but this one puzzled him.

"So, Elle told me about your little conversation today." Derek continued.

Already Spencer was lost. "What conversation?"

The older FBI's smirk turned into a toothy grin. He mimicked his co-worker, "Do you think that's why I can't get a date?" Making sure to add a little expression in he adapted a pout.

Reid sat back in his chair and crossed his arms. He was sure Morgan was going to continue, he always did. Except for once he seemed to be content with making his little pout, which, if Spencer had to tell the truth, was pretty cute. "Listen Morgan if all you want to do is tease me on how big of a loser I am then I'm gone." Grabbing his satchel and jacket he got up and stalked away.

But Derek was fast, he captured Reid's arm and stopped his movement. "No wait Spencer, you have it all wrong." He watched as his fellow co-worker rolled his eyes. "No seriously I want to help you."

"Oh, yeah? How so?"

"Simple. I'm going to teach you how to ask someone out. Okay it's not that hard." Morgan stated. "Just say, would you like to go out with me."

Spencer snorted, a skeptical look on his face. "It's not that easy."

"Yes it is. You just have to practice." Reid shook his head doubtfully which caused Morgan to continue. "Come on Reid. You can practice right now. Just ask me."

Spencer's eyes grew wide for a millisecond before mimicking the older man's sentence from earlier. "Would you like to go out with me?" He paused. "Yeah okay so that wasn't…"

Derek interrupted him. "Of course I would. God I've been waiting forever for you to say that, but where to? Hmmm… what about that new coffee shop across the street? What's it called…Nellie's? Okay I'll meet you there." He slapped his colleague on the shoulder before beginning his journey down the stairs.

Reid was left, stunned, at the top of the stairs.
