"This is a bad idea," Hotch mused. He stood chest to chest with Reid who now looked at him with wide brown eyes, a bit surprised. His boss sat down on the toilet seat in his nice black suit pants, having discarded his jacket over the green wall of the bathroom stall. The man loosened his red tie and draped it over the stall. It seemed as though the tension in the air had risen, only from Hotch's new reasoning. But Reid just stood there, stupidly, unable to really say anything. And Hotch kept talking in a hushed whisper, more to himself to persuade himself than to Reid, "This is a bad idea. Somebody could find us, which could come with a lot of consequences."

Reid just stood there, contemplating what Hotch was saying. His boss was right. And a rock was in the pit of his stomach. It was a big rock, and it just sat there, balled up- like butterflies but worse. He did not know what was going to happen here. But when Hotch pulled his tie off the wall and began to put it back around his neck, that ball began to loosen. Those butterflies began to feel less and less. And so he gave a nervous smile, and glanced on the lock in the door of the stall. Hotch was now pulling his black jacket on. Reid unlocked the door and pulled it open, stepping out into the rest of the bathroom.

The door to the bathroom opened. In came Morgan, who looked thankful to see Reid, but appeared as though he was looking for someone else.

"Have you see Hotch?" Morgan inquired right as Hotch was stepping out of the bathroom stall, adjusting his tie. Morgan raised his eyebrows and a smile spread across his face. "I'll let you get back to what you were doing."

A grin was on Morgan's face- a broad one. The man turned around and yanked the bathroom door open. Before Reid or Hotch could call after him to say it was not what Morgan thought, Morgan was already out the door, probably telling everybody what he just saw.

And as a consequence to their mistake, Hotch grabbed Reid's wrist and dragged him back into the stall. Slamming the stall's door shut, Hotch locked it, pushing Reid up against the door. Their mouths met, a rage of fire bursting through the two of them. At first Reid had his eyes open, but as he melted into the kiss he closed them. Pushing the jacket off of Hotch's shoulders, Hotch loosened his tie. Dropping the strip of fabric down on the floor, Hotch pushed Reid against the wall of the stall. But Reid pushed Hotch against the opposite wall. Their tongues roved around each other's mouths passionately.

But a couple moments later, when Reid had his back to the door of the stall, there was a sharp banging on the slab of wood he leaned against. Neither Hotch nor Reid stopped for a few more seconds, until the banging on the stall door happened again. Then Reid pulled away and Hotch sighed, just wishing they could be left alone for the time being.

"Come on you two love birds, we have a case," Rossi said loudly.

Reid unlocked the stall door and pulled it open, revealing a Hotch without a tie or jacket.

"How come you never told us?" Morgan asked.

Reid furrowed his brow. "What d'you mean 'how come we never told you'? Would you have told us if-"

"Yes," came Morgan's answer.

Hotch stepped out of the stall, tightening his tie. "No you wouldn't."

Rossi raised an eyebrow and lowered it before he said, "We have a case. You two can get back to this later."

"Does everyone else know?" Reid inquired, sounding slightly worried.

"Of course everyone else knows," Rossi replied. He walked toward the bathroom door and pulled it open. Then he cracked a joke, saying, "He's Morgan. It's not his fault."

And of course, Hotch and Reid did get back to it later.
