Emily hates Valentines Day. She thinks it's a useless, mindless holiday filled with unneeded hallmark cards and too many flowers and candy. To be completely honest I was never a big fan of the holiday either even when I was with Haley but something about being with her has changed my mind about this particular holiday and it's up to me to change her mind.

When she comes to work there is a single daisy on her desk. I watch from my office as she picks it up and smells it. I smile. Leaving a rose would be too predictable and daisies are her favorite flower. She comes to my apartment later that evening and comes through the door.

"Hey someone left a daisy on my desk today. I think it was Morgan. It was really sweet and lucky to because he's really hot." She says teasing me.

She comes around the corner into the kitchen where I'm cooking dinner. She laughs when she sees daises all over the table and counter tops. "I never figured you were one for embarrassing shows of affection."

I throw a stray daisy into one of the pots on the stove top and simply smile at her. She puts her bag down and takes her coat off as she walks over to me. I feel her slide up beside me and place a soft kiss on my jaw. "I thought you hated this holiday." She says.

I turn around and wrap my arms around her bringing her in close. "I never said I hated it I was just indifferent."

"What changed your mind?" She asks noting all of the daisies.

"A woman."

"Really? Do I know her?"

"You might. She's about your height, dark brown eyes, long brown hair, really beautiful, and a great body. Pretty smart too."

She playfully smacks me on the chest and laughs. "You know I always hated this holiday but I'm starting to rethink that."

"What changed your mind?" I ask repeating her question.

"A daisy." She smiles and leans in to place a deep kiss to my lips.
