JJ frowned and cursed when her car refused to start after the third try. This is definitely not my morning, the blonde mused. First the alarm clock hadn't worked and she had woken up late then she'd spilled coffee on her shirt so that had to be changed and now her car wouldn't start. It was Monday morning and she needed to get to the office early for a meeting. Normally she'd ask Will to drive her in, but he and Henry were enjoying a father-son weekend and weren't expected back until later that afternoon. Reaching into her purse she pulled out her phone and pressed the button to call Hotch. He and Jack lived in the same neighborhood and she hoped he hadn't left for work yet.

"Hotchner," came his voice.

"Hotch, it's JJ, my car won't start and Will's out of town with Henry, is there anyway you could give me a ride to the office?"

"Sure, that's no problem, just so you know I have a bureau SUV because Beth's car broke down and she's using mine today. I'll be there as soon as I get Jack settled at our neighbor's house. They have a teacher work day so he and the girl next door who is a grade above him are going to play today."

"Okay, thank you so much, I'll see you when you get here," JJ said hanging up and leaning against the car waiting for Hotch to show up. The ride to work was uneventful as the two parents discussed their kids and the fact that Hotch's relationship with Beth was becoming more serious.

"Thank you so much, Hotch. I really appreciate it," JJ said softly.

"It's no problem JJ, from what you said, it sounds like you had a tough morning," the unit chief replied.

"Yeah, that's one way to put it."

"Well I hope the rest of your day goes better," Hotch said as they got out of the SUV and made their way into the building.

"So do I, Hotch, so do I."

"Hey JJ, everyone's going out to lunch, are you coming?" Emily asked as she stood by her friend's desk.

"Sure, just let me take this report to Hotch and see if he and Rossi want to come along," the newest profiler said standing and heading to Hotch's office.

A knock on his office door pulled Hotch from the report he was working on.

"Come in," he called.

"I have the report on the last case," JJ informed him handing him the folder.

"Thank you," he said taking it from her. Just then she heard music and looked around for where it was coming from. "Pandora on my phone," Hotch explained.

"Ah, I like Pandora, it's nice to have commercial free radio," she commented. Hotch nodded in agreement. Just then the song changed from "Take It Easy" by the Eagles to "The Wheels on The Bus" and JJ started to laugh.

"Interesting choice of songs there, Hotch," the profiler responded cheekily.

"Jack asked if he could listen to Pandora on Sunday and I didn't realize he'd added songs to my station," the unit chief explained blushing.

"The team wanted to invite you and Rossi out for lunch, what do you say?"

"I could use a break and I'm sure Dave can as well," Hotch agreed as he stood up and after grabbing his phone and closing Pandora made his way out to grabe Dave JJ following behind humming the wheels on the bus. The day started out bad, but it looked like it was definitely looking up, JJ mused as she laughed at Hotch blushing as she hummed the song.

Finished!
