Will smiled as he entered the bar, his gaze moving around the room to where Ethan sat at the piano. His boyfriend didn't meet his gaze, but he knew that Ethan could sense that he was here; each of them always knew when the other was near.

It was something that he'd never experienced with any other lover. Somehow, he and Ethan always seemed to be on the same wavelength.

He made his way across the room to a chair near where Ethan was playing, sinking into it gratefully. It had been a long day, and he was no closer to solving the murder case that he was working on than he had been the day before, or the day before that.

But just being here made him feel better. The music soothed him, washing over him in a soft, soothing tide. Will couldn't hold back a smile; just listening to Ethan play could wash away all the tensions of the day and leave him in a good mood.

He'd be in an even better mood once they got home tonight.

Will closed his eyes, thinking about what their evening would be like. He would close the front door and take Ethan's hand, leading him back to the bedroom without speaking a word; he'd lay his boyfriend down on the bed and undress him, slowly, sensually ....

His thoughts were interrupted by the voice of a waitress asking him if he wanted a drink; Will sat up and opened his eyes, giving her his order and an apologetic smile before his gaze moved to his boyfriend again, drinking in the sight of the man he loved.

Another smile came to his lips at the sight; Ethan always looked so sexy when he was playing.

There was something about the way his body swayed in rhythm with the music he created; Will couldn't take his gaze away from his boyfriend. Ethan looked as though he was lost in the music, in a world of his own, completely unaware of his surroundings.

They would make another kind of music when they were alone at home later -- and Ethan would look just as sexy, but in a different way. Will couldn't wait to get his boyfriend into bed, to strip off his clothes and move his hands over every inch of that delectable body ....

He shifted in his seat, deliberately pushing those thoughts out of his mind. There would be time enough for that later; for now, he wanted to enjoy Ethan's music.

The waitress brought Will his drink, and he settled back in his chair, his eyes on his boyfriend, letting Ethan's music wash over him and wrap him in a warm embrace. They would be in a very different kind of embrace later tonight, Will told himself -- and it couldn't happen soon enough.
