Nick and Greg were in bed together, all snuggled up.

"Nick"

"Yeah"

"I love you."

"I love you too G."

(silence)

"Okay G, spill"

"What?"

"I know there's something on your mind so, spill."

"I just... You ever think of kids?"

(silence)

"Nick?"

"As in; adopting one?"

"Yeah, I mean; I'm very very very happy with our lives together, believe me. But I just can't help the fact that I'm starting to think of kids a lot lately."

"Me too, but I still think we have to think about it though. Because if we adopt a kid, it's gonna have two daddy's. I know it might sound silly but we live in a crazy world and not everybody accepts gays. What if the kid gets bullied for having two dads?"

"You're right. But I think we should give it some thought."

"Sure."

"Yeah?"

"Yeah G, I'll think about it. Now go to sleep, you exhausted me earlier."

Week later

Nick and Greg were walking hand in hand through Vegas. They were walking past a group of guys.

"Hey see those fags! That's just sick, lets get them." One of the guys screamed.

Nick and Greg turned around and saw the guys running towards them, but before the group could reach them, a girl stood in front of Nick and Greg.

"Back off Max! What do you think you're doing!" she yelled at the guy with blonde hair.

"Come on Syn, you can't be serious! Look at those two, it's disgusting." Max yelled back at her.

"No what's disgusting is; you and your girl being all over each other every time we all hang out." She snapped back.

"That's not the point! It's still horrible." He yelled

"Why Max? Because they're gay? If you think like that, then I got you all wrong. Or did you forget what my parents are." She yelled.

"No but... This is different!" Max tried to defend himself.

"Different? How? Explain to me what the difference is between this couple and my dads, cause I don't see it." She dared him.

"I...I... screw you Syn! Come on guys, lets go!" Max yelled and left with his gang.

"Thank you, I guess." Nick said, still shocked.

"Don't worry, they're just losers. My name is Synthia by the way, can I ask for yours?" she said calmly.

"My name is Greg and this is Nick." Greg answered.

"Nice to meet you. Sorry for my friends, I'm still trying to raise them right." She laughed.

"What I don't get is that; you said you had two dads?" Greg said a little confused.

"Yeah, they adopted me when I was 2." She said proudly.

"And you don't get bullied for it or something? I mean; when you tell them you have two dads." Nick asked curiously.

"Not really, no. They give you a weird look but they accept it. Besides; if they dare to bully me, I'll throw some punches. My parents insisted on me taking self defends classes, so that wouldn't be a problem. That's why no one wants to pick fights with me, they know I hit back." She chuckled.

"Let me guess; you're thinking about adopting but you are not sure about it because of the future for the kid?" she asked.

"Yeah, how'd you know?" Greg asked.

"My dads were the same." She smiled. Her phone went off.

"Excuse me." She answered her phone. "Yes dad...No, I'm not lost...I know...I'll be home in ten...okay bye." She hung up.

"Sorry, I have to go; I'm still grounded and I originally was only allowed to go to the store and back." She smiled sheepishly.

"Thank you Synthia, for everything." Nick smiled.

"It's okay, bye." She walked away.

"So; still want kids cause I can't wait?" Nick smirked. Greg nodded and threw his arms around Nick, pulling him in for a deep kiss.
