Ryan couldn't think of anything else but being with Jesse.

These feelings had come over him like a hurricane; a flood of emotions, seeming to overtake him and turn him upside down and inside out.

Maybe this was wrong, but he didn't care. It wasn't as though he wasn't allowed to date someone that he was working with; people did it all the time. As long as they were discreet, and they didn't put themselves ahead of the other team members, it was all good.

The only problem was that people might look at them differently once it was known that they were involved. He had never let anyone know before that he was interested in men.

But it didn't seem as though Jesse had, either.

He wasn't ashamed of being bisexual, Ryan told himself firmly. He'd never been ashamed of his feelings. It was just .... who he was, and he made no apologies for it.

He didn't care if anyone else thought it was wrong. He and Jesse were both consenting adults, and this was what they both wanted. There was nothing wrong with two people who were attracted to each other being together, and taking pleasure in the physical sense.

And if things didn't work out between them .... Ryan firmly pushed that thought out of his mind. He wasn't gong to think that way. Not this time.

He had always looked ahead in his relationships, always seen the dark clouds instead of the silver lining. Well, he wasn't going to do that any more.

He was going to think positive, to believe that this relationship he was heading into with Jesse would work out for them. There was no reason to think that it wouldn't. It might have started like a hurricane, but it would evolve into calm, soothing waters.

Of course, he was sure that they would cause a few hurricanes of their own at some point, he thought, a small smile curving his lips. He was hoping for one tonight.

There was no doubt that the first time would be a spectacular storm.

His breath came more quickly just thinking about what it could be like. Who would be on top? Which one of them would be the more aggressive partner?

Maybe it would be both of them, and they would simply take turns. Which one of them would be the first to make a move? Ryan shook his head, smiling. He didn't doubt that it would be Jesse. The other man seemed to be much more direct and open than he was.

Which wasn't a bad thing, he told himself as he swung his car into the parking lot of Jesse's building, then pulled into a parking space. Not a bad thing at all.
