"So who do you think did it Greg?" Sara asked, as they walked through the hall.

"The husband, with the rope, in the bedroom." Greg said, smiling cheekily.

"No that's only you and Nick." Sara said, as Greg laughed.

"No, we aren't that kinky. Plus we aren't married." Greg said, as Sara smiled.

"No kinky would be if you said the candlestick." Sara said, as both stopped.

"Ow." They both said, as they started laughing.

"All the evidence points to the daughter." Greg said, as Sara shook her head.

"Why? They got along fine." Sara said, as Greg shrugged.

"I don't know." Greg said, as Sara rolled her eyes.

"Fine. Subject change, how are you and Nick." Sara asked, as Greg laughed.

"We shouldn't be discussing my love life at work." Greg said, as Sara smiled at him.

"It's not like I don't know." Sara said, as Greg looked at her shocked.

"I knew it! You have been following me!" Greg said.

"Oh! You got me there." Sara said, as both burst out laughing.

"Hey guys!" David said, coming up to them.

"Hey. We didn't give you anything." Sara said, as Greg tilted his head.

"No you didn't, but is it a crime to say hi." David asked, as both shook their head.

"No...but we could make it one." Greg teased, "It damages our health."

"Oh shut up Greg." David said, as Grissom walked by.

"Right. So Greg and I need to go check out some more evidence. Bye David." Sara said, heading in the opposite direction. Greg gave David a cheesy grin before running after Sara.

"Nice one Sara. Real smooth, he didn't know we were talking to David at all." Greg said, as Sara glared.

"Fuck you. You try to think of an excuse in a split second." Sara said, as they walked by the locker room.

"Sex any good?" Warrick's voice asked.

"Yeah." Nick said, unenthusiastically.

"Do you even like Greg anymore?" Warrick's questioned.

Sara put a hand out to stop Greg.

"Nope." Nick's voice answered back.

Greg's mouth dropped open, as he looked at Sara. Sara frowned at Greg, who looked like he was ready to cry. Sara's eyes had narrowed dangerously, as Greg turned on his heel. He walked quickly through the halls. Sara watched her friends departing back, as she walked into the locker room.

"WHOA Sara! Haven't you heard of knocking?" Warrick asked, as he covered up his lower region.

Sara walked straight up to Nick and slapped him.

"You jackass. You...argh! There isn't even a word for you." Sara yelled, as Nick gave her a confused look.

"What did I do?" Nick asked, as Sara glared.

"Greg and I heard that little conversation." Sara said, as Nick's eyes widened.

"It wasn't like that. Did you hear all of it?" Nick asked.

"We heard sex any good to do you even like Greg anymore." Sara said, as Nick slapped a hand on his head.

"You see, Warrick and I were doing an experiment. Our suspect is a pathological liar, and we wanted to see if I could lie through my teeth like he did."

"I don't CARE." Sara screamed, as a few people stopped infront of the locker room. Catherine and Grissom amongst them.

"But it's the truth."

"Nick, I swear if you don't go tell Greg what the HELL just happened, I will personally make sure you won't EVER be able to fuck another woman or man again." Sara yelled, as Nick cringed a bit.
"Haha Nicky, you got in trouble with Sara." Warrick said, as Sara rounded on him.

"Don't even get me started on you. If I do, then you'll get the same treatment out of Mr. Jackass over here." Sara said, pointing to Nick.

"Sara, calm down." Catherine said, coming in. Grissom followed her in, as Sara screamed in utter frustration.

"You.need.to.go.NOW!" Sara yelled at Nick, who scrambled up.

"What's going on here?" Grissom asked.

"Long story short, Greg and I heard a bad part of a conversation and I'm going to murder Nick if he doesn't go fix it now." Sara said, as Nick ran out of the room.

"You know, you could probably scare Lucifer with that temper of yours Sara." Warrick said, "Why do you care so much anyways?"

"I care, because unlike you Warrick, I like seeing Greg and Nick happy." Sara said, as Warrick glared.

"I like seeing them both happy." Warrick said.

"Then why'd you ask those questions?" Sara asked.

"Because it's a subject I thought Nick wouldn't lie about. But it--"

"That was a stupid experiment anyways! You can lie about anything, but a pathological liar will lie about everything. You experiment wasn't stable at all! Leave them to Grissom, at least he's smart enough to do it."

"Are you saying I'm stupid?" Warrick asked, as the crowd of people thickened.

"I'm saying you are a dumb ass who needs to get his facts straight." Sara said, as she exited the room.

Grissom and Catherine's mouth's had dropped open.

"Could you guys please leave, I kind of need to get some pants on...NOW."

"Why do you need to change into pants anyways?" Grissom asked.

"I spilled coffee on them." Warrick said, as Catherine and Grissom left.

Nick ran into the DNA, startling Mia.

"Nick, I haven't done your stuff yet."

"Have you seen Greg?" Nick asked.

"Yeah, he walked past about five minutes ago. He was heading towards the Trace...lab." By the time Mia had finished Nick had run out of the room.

Nick walked into the trace lab to find Hodges dancing around like Greg used to.

"What..are..you...doing?" Nick asked, as the other stopped.

"Uh..." Hodges said, as Nick shook his head.

"Did Greg come by here?" Nick questioned.

"Yeah, he said he was going back to his crime scene." Hodges asked, as Nick nodded.

"Do you know where that is?"

"Yes, let me just look at the data base to see where it is. No I don't know." Hodges said, as Nick glared.

"Who was he working it with?" Nick asked.

"Sara."

Nick looked like he was going to puke.

"Please tell me you're kidding. She's pissed at me." Nick said, as Hodges tilted his head.

"What'd you do?"

"Let's just say, I said something about Greg that I didn't mean." Nick said.

"What'd you say?" Hodges asked suspiciously.

"None of your business." Nick said, as he walked out.

He saw Sara coming his way, and opened his mouth to ask her.

"Don't even think about it. Where is he?" Sara asked.

"At your crime scene." Nick said, as Sara nodded.

"Will you tell me where it is?" Nick asked.

"Come with me." Sara sighed, as Nick smiled at her, "I'm still pissed at you."

Nick's smile faded as he walked out with her. Sara got into her Tahoe, unlocking Nick's door.

"I don't even know why I bother." Sara said, as she turned on the car.

"Why?"

"If I know Greg, he's not going to forgive you straight away. Why couldn't you of told the truth?" Sara asked, as she made a sharp right, sending Nick into the door.

"Ow! Because it was an exper--" Sara swerved to the right a little, sending Nick back into the door.

"Say experiment one more time, and I'll show you an experiment." Sara threatened.

"Well that's the truth." Nick said, as the rest of the car ride was spent in silence.

When they arrived at the scene, Nick jumped out of the car.

"Are you coming?" Nick asked.

"Hell no! You're in deep shit Nick. Let's see if you can get out." Sara challenged, as Nick walked towards the house.

He opened the door, which made a loud screeching sound. He winced at the sound, but continued in.

"Greg?" Nick called out, as he walked into the living room.

He heard some footsteps on the stairs, and went towards them.

"Greg." Nick said, as he saw his lover come down the stairs.

"What the hell do you want?" Greg asked, as he walked to the kitchen.

"To say sorry." Nick said, as Greg scoffed.

"Look, we aren't doing this right now. I have work to do here." Greg said, unemotionally.

"Greg, look.."

"No! You look at the door and get out. This isn't your crime scene." Greg told him, as he dusted for fingerprints.

"I'm not leaving until you understand what happened."

"You've had time to come up with some stupid excuse, and I frankly don't give a damn." Greg said, as Nick almost screamed out in frustration.

Greg pushed past him as he walked outside to his Tahoe. Nick followed him to it, as Greg opened the back.

"Will you listen to me?" Nick asked, as Greg glared.

"No I won't." Greg said, as he got a black light out.

"Damnit Greg, listen to me." Nick said, as Greg stopped walking.

"Listen to me, if you don't like me so much then stay the fuck away from me." Greg said, as he turned on his heel and walked inside.

Nick looked at Sara, who looked back.

"I told you. You upset him a lot Nick. You didn't really think you could just waltz in and say, 'I'm sorry.' And everything be honkey dorey, did you?" Sara asked.

"Actually I did." Nick said, as he walked back into the house.

"G, me and Warrick.."

"You still haven't left? God, do I have to write it on a post-it saying, 'I don't want to talk to you right now,' Nick?" Greg asked, as he used the light to see if they'd missed any blood spatter.

"No I haven't. Will you please pay attention to me, and give me a chance to explain."

"No and No. You know what, I'm done here." Greg said, grabbing his kit, brushing past Nick.

That time Nick did scream in frustration, storming up to Greg who was getting into his car. Nick grabbed the door so it wouldn't shut.

"You aren't leaving."

"Nick, I will shut the door on your hand. I've done it before." Greg said, as Nick sighed.

"Whenever you're upset you bury yourself in work, and you turn into a little bitch." Nick said, as Greg started laughing.

"Is that why you don't like me?" Greg said, as he shut the door.

Nick pulled his hand away just in time, glaring at Greg.

"No. I don't like the fact that you don't give me a chance to talk damnit." Nick said.

"And listen to you say what? That you're so sorry that you said those mean things. Then what Nick, am I supposed to jump in your arms and shout my love for you? This isn't a story, I'm not doing it." Greg said, as Nick growled.

"I am sorry, it was just an.." Greg started up the car, the radio blaring out Nick's voice.

"See you at the lab." Greg said, as he pulled out.

Sara's mouth dropped open.

"Do you see how he's acting? How can I get a word in when he's like that!" Nick screamed at Sara.

"I've got a plan for you Nicky. Because that was a bitchy move on Greg's part." Sara said, as Nick got back into the car.

"What's this plan of yours?" Nick asked, as Sara just smiled.

"If it doesn't work, then I'm sorry." Sara said, as she pulled out.

"Why would you be sorry?"

"Because you might get hurt."

"How so?"

"As in Greg might punch you." Sara said, as Nick looked at her and started laughing.

"Greg...punch...me...good one Sara." Nick said, as Sara rose a brow at him.

"Didn't you wonder why that new guy from Plano, Texas transferred again?" Sara asked.

"No."

"He tried to feel Greg up, and Greg punched the shit out of him. The guy lost a tooth. Grissom hasn't told anyone because he thinks what Greg did was right." Sara said, as Nick's mouth dropped.

"You're kidding? A tooth." Nick said, as Sara nodded.

"Alright here's the plan." Sara said, as she told him it very slowly.

"He will punch me." Nick said, as Sara laughed.

"Either that or kick you in the groin."

"I'm not going into the lab, walk up to him and just molest him infront of everyone. Your plans suck!" Nick said, as Sara glared.

"Then what's your big plan? Because the one at the house. Sure as hell didn't work." Sara said, as Nick shot her the evil eye.

"I know it didn't. You know what? I just had a brilliant idea." Nick said, as he looked at Sara, "Do you remember last Christmas, when we went to Greg's friend's house? We all dressed up in Halloween costumes, because it was a Goth Christmas party?"

"Wasn't that the party that you looked like an eight-hundred dollar whore?" Sara asked, as Nick looked offended.

"Well thanks." Nick said, as Sara smiled.

"Well you did. You had on vinyl pants and a fishnet shirt. Then you on thigh high boots that were over the pants, and all this kohl on your face." Sara said, as Nick pinched her arm.

"Not the point, and Greg dressed me." Nick said, as Sara laughed.

"Well then what's the point?" Sara asked.

"Didn't you take those clothes to your place? I told you I didn't want to wear it again."

"Yeah. It's in the attic." Sara said, as Nick smirked.

"We need to go to your place then." Nick said.

"So what? You're just going to stride into the lab in all your whorish goodiness?" Sara asked, as Nick smirked.

"Yep, and then I'm going to kiss the hell out of him." Nick said, "He knows I didn't like that outfit, and I said, "Hell will freeze over before I wear that again." If that doesn't how much I love him, then nothing will."

Sara started laughing.

"I can't wait to see the looks on everyone's face."

"Why?"

"You're Nick Stokes. You're from Texas, and you're so macho it hurts and you're going to dress up all slut like, for the soul purpose of getting Greg back." Sara said.

"Oh fuck off." Nick said, as Sara stopped infront of her place.

"C'mon." Sara said, as they walked in.

She had to move a lot of dusty things before she actually found the outfit.

"Here you go." Sara said, as Nick walked down the stairs.

"Where's your eyeliner?"

"What about the kohl?"

"It's not in the pile you gave me." Nick said, as Sara shifted through more things.

"Here it is. Do you need help?"

"With the kohl, yes. Clothes, not a problem." Nick said, as he shut the door.

Five minutes later he was in the pants and boots. The shirt however, was giving him trouble.

"Sara! Help me!" Nick called, as Sara opened the door.

She straightened out the shirt and then she whistled low.

"You look like Greg, in a Texan body." Sara said, as Nick thrust the kohl at her.

"Do you remember how it looked?" Nick asked, as Sara nodded.

"Yeah." Sara said, as she outlined his eyes. She then did under his eye, and then made a sharp curve, drawing a curved loop that was half an inch from the eye. The loop didn't close however.

"So do you want other makeup?" Sara asked, as Nick laughed.

"You could paint my nails black." Nick said, as Sara laughed.

"We've already taken a while." Sara said, as Nick stumbled in the heels.

"Remind me again why I'm doing this?" Nick asked, as he stumbled again.

"Because you love Greg, and we're having a little session with heels. Watch." Sara said, as she walked heel to toe.

"It's heel then toe. Not toe then heel in those kind of boots. In any other sort of heel you can do toe then heel." Sara explained, as Nick walked around the place for a minute.

When he finally got the hang of it, they went back outside.

***

Nick just stared ahead of him at the lab.

"Warrick, Catherine, and Grissom are still in there aren't they?"

"Yep. Warrick can't do anything without his partner for his crime, and Catherine and Grissom are looking at their evidence. Don't you just LOVE full audiences?" Sara asked, as Nick glared.

"Remind me to kill you later." Nick said, as Sara just laughed.

"If you can catch me in heels." Sara said, getting out of the car.

She walked over to Nick's side and opened his door.

"Do you need help getting out?" Sara asked, trying to keep a straight face.

"Yes." Nick said, as he grabbed Sara's hand, getting out slowly.

They both walked in the lab, automatically going to the break room.

They saw the whole team except Greg in there. Catherine dropped her apple, as she started choking on a bite.

"What are you wearing Nicky?" Warrick asked, as he started laughing.

"This is my way of trying to get Greg back." Nick said, as Catherine started laughing.

"Why not talk to him?"

"He tried that and failed." Sara said, as she sat next to Grissom.

"Why not try throwing him up against the wall and kissing him?" Warrick asked.

"He'd get punched."

"How about buying him flowers and saying sorry?" Grissom asked.

"Because he won't listen to me." Nick said.

"Stokes?" Brass asked, as he walked in.

"Say a word Jim, and I swear you'll have this boot up your ass." Nick said, smiling sweetly.

Brass held up his hands.

"Wasn't planning on it."

"So where's Greg?" Nick asked.

"DNA lab." Grissom said.

Nick's mouth dropped.

"You aren't serious?" Nick said.

"Yes."

Sara started laughing hysterically.

"That means everyone's going to see you." Sara said, as Warrick snorted.

"That's the least of his worries." Warrick said, as Nick sighed.

"Wish me luck." Nick said.

"Um Nick?" Grissom asked.

"Yeah?"

"When are you and Greg off?"

"In ten minutes."

"Then I guess it's fine. Just don't screw it up." Grissom said, as he watched Nick walk away.

"Twenty Dollars says Greg forgives him and jumps in his arms." Warrick said, as Catherine glared at him.

"You shouldn't bet on something like that." Catherine said.

"I'll bet that Greg doesn't forgive him." Brass said, as Catherine looked at both men incredulously.

"If I was Greg I'd forgive Nick. It's not every day a man from Texas comes in dressed up like...um..." Grissom was having difficulty with words.

"Looking like an eight-hundred dollar whore." Sara put in.

"Exactly...wait..." Grissom said, as Sara smiled at him innocently.

********
Nick walked down the halls, ignoring the stares of his coworkers. He walked into the DNA lab, startling Mia for the second time that day. Greg was sitting next to her.

"Nick? What are you wearing?" Mia asked, as Greg looked over at the door, his eyes widening briefly.

"Vinyl, leather, and fishnet." Nick said.

"I think I'm going to go get some more coffee." Mia said, leaving the lab.

"Greg, I love you. I was ju--" Nick was cut off, as Greg rolled his eyes.

"So you're saying sorry...by dressing up like it's Halloween?" Greg asked.

"I know you liked this outfit last Christmas, so I put it on. I was hoping that--"

"If you made a complete fool out of yourself. Do you really think I care about that?" Greg asked.

"Well..I thought it'd help."

"What would help would to know when the hell you stopped liking me."

"THAT'S WHAT YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND!" Nick screamed, making people stop, as they looked in the lab.

"What? That you think it's funny to play with people's emotions? That it's ok--" Greg was cut off as Nick pushed him ontop of a clear desk, kissing him. Greg moaned involuntarily, as Nick pulled back.

Nick yelped in pain when Greg smacked him.

"You think you can fix this with a kiss? A KISS!" Greg said, as Nick stared at him.

"Damnit Nicky! You really hurt my fucking feelings. I don't care if you were seeing if you could recite a Latin textbook. That shit doesn't matter, what does is that you should've told ME that you weren't happy...not Warrick."

"I am happy! It was an experiment. Our suspect is a pathological liar and we wanted to see if it was that easy to lie like that." Nick explained, as Greg laughed hysterically.

"That is the WORST excuse I've ever heard of in my life." Greg said.

"It's the truth. Damnit Greg, I love you." Nick said, as Greg stopped laughing.
"Will you stop saying that. Even if you were doing an experiment, why couldn't you of told the truth?"

"If I had known that someone was eavesdropping I would've." Nick said.

"So now I'm an eavesdropper! First I'm a little bitch, then I'm an eavesdropper. What's next Nick? Are you going to accuse me of sleeping with someone?" Greg asked.

"No, but while we're on that subject, that guy from Plano, what were you thinking of when he put the moves on you? How far did it get until you called stop?" Nick sneered at Greg, who glared.

"I know you aren't trying to say that I almost slept with him. Because I didn't, as soon as he tried to pull something, I punched him. See that's the thing with being loyal, you stay that way. But you wouldn't know anything about that would you Nick?" Greg asked.

"What the hell are you talking about?"

"Three weeks ago, you didn't come home for a full day. You weren't at work, or any of our friends houses, you weren't with your parents. OH and when I was doing the bills, I found that I didn't know where $180 had gone. So explain that one to me Nick." Greg snarled at him.

"That's none of your business."

"I think it is! Don't accuse me of cheating you hypocrite." Greg said, as he went to walk out.

By now half the lab, and their team members were looking in.

Nick grabbed his arm and yanked him back.

"Greg, will you just listen to me?"

"Don't touch me." Greg said, yanking his arm away from Nick, "I've taken a lot of shit in my life Nick, you know that...but I'm not taking this. If you didn't mean it, you wouldn't of said it."

Nick reached for Greg's arm, but only got air. He watched as Greg walked around, and pushed through people.

Nick chased after him after a few moments.

"Greg! Will you just listen to me for a minute!" Nick yelled, as Greg turned around.

"No I won't." Greg said, "You didn't even deny that you cheated on me. So why should I listen to you? So I can hear another fucked up lie from you."

"I wasn't cheating on you! A family friend needed my help."

"Really? Who?" Greg said.

"You wouldn't know them." Nick said, as Greg started laughing hysterically.

"Then how do I not know you were cheating. I know of all of your family friends Nick." Greg said, as Sara got in between them.

"Nick, maybe this was a bad idea." Sara said, as Nick glared.

"I don't care. Greg is just being a dumb ass." Nick said, as Greg laughed.

"You keep on adding onto the list don't you!" Greg said, as Nick slapped a hand on his head.

"G, you are not even listening. You are to busy feeling sorry for yourself."

"I'm feeling sorry for myself. I know you aren't playing that card." Greg said, as Nick glared at him.

"Well you are. You wouldn't even listen to me."

"How about you think about what it would feel like if someone asked me if I still liked you, and I said nope. Put yourself in my shoes, you jackass." Greg said, as he continued on down the hall.

"Sara, what does this make the score?" Nick asked, as Sara glared.

"Greg two, you zero. It isn't a competition, you said something stupid, and you're paying for it." Sara said, as she walked after Greg.

"So...you dressed up like that....for nothing." Warrick said, as Nick turned.

"Yeah I did. What the hell am I supposed to do? He doesn't believe me...at all." Nick said, as Catherine walked up to him.

"I have an idea. Show him how much you love him. Do something for him, that you've said no to before. If that doesn't work, then just kidnap him." Catherine said, as Warrick nodded.

"You know, we could always throw both of you into a room. We did it with Greg and David and look at them now. They're best buds." Warrick said, as Catherine laughed.

"If we put them in a room together, Greg would probably kill Nick." Catherine said, as Nick smiled.

"I've got another idea."

"Does it involve that outfit?" Grissom asked.

"Well...no."

"HEY NICK!" David yelled, as Nick turned.

David took a picture of Nick, before running off.

"Did....he...just...take...a....picture....of...me?" Nick asked, not getting it right away.

"Yeah." Grissom said, "It might be on the next issue of that magazine that he's been handing out."

Nick's eyes widened.

"Could this day...get any worse?"

"Yes and No. Now go get your man back." Catherine said, as Sara nodded.

"If you don't, I'll personally kick your ass Nick." Warrick said, as Nick nodded.

"Wish me luck with the next plan."

***

Warrick growled to himself.

"I'm not doing this. I can't BELIEVE I'm dong this." Warrick said, as Nick smiled.

"Well you're helping. That's what you said you'd do." Nick said.

"Kidnapping is a bit FAR." Warrick said, as Nick shook his head.

"It's not kidnapping, unless he acts like it is." Nick said, as he put a mask on.

"He's going to act like it damnit." Warrick said, putting his own mask on.

Nick and Warrick crawled into an open window, that lead into Greg's apartment. Nick crawled in first, then helped his friend. They were sure to be careful, as they crept to the bedroom.

Greg was sleeping on the bed quietly, tear trails on his face. Nick pointed to the blindfold, and pointed to Greg's eyes. Warrick nodded, as Nick pointed to himself, and then made a large 'O' with his arms. Warrick nodded again, as both men went into their places. They both lunged at Greg, who before he could scream, there was a gag in his mouth, and a blindfold over his eyes.

"Don't move." Nick hissed, changing his voice slightly. His arms were over Greg's body, trying to stop his struggling.

Greg stopped moving instantly, going against everything he was thinking.

"You're going to come with us quietly, and not make a sound." Warrick hissed at him, as Greg nodded his head.

Nick hauled him up gently, before pushing him towards the door. He made sure Greg didn't hit anything, and made sure he didn't trip down the stairs. They got into Nick's Tahoe, and Greg sniffed the air.

"Whysmelnic?" Greg said, his voice muffled.

Nick removed the gag.

"Why's it smell like Nick?" Greg asked, then turned his head towards Nick, "OH MY GOD!"

"Told you it wouldn't work Nick." Warrick said, un-blindfolding Greg.

"YOU JACKASS! IS THIS YOUR WAY OF SAYING SORRY?"

"I was trying to take you to the spot where we first started dating."

"By kidnapping me!" Greg howled, making Nick and Warrick wince.

"By surprising you." Nick corrected.

"YOU SCARED ME! NOT SURPRISED ME! Oh my god...this is messed up. Let me go." Greg said, trying to get out of the car. He found that he couldn't.

"Child lock." Nick said, as Greg's mouth dropped.

"Don't you understand that I'm mad at you?"

"Don't you understand that I'm sorry." Nick said, as Greg glared.

"Then give me time to cool off. I know you're sorry, but I need to cool off. I don't need you making an ass out of yourself to show that you love me, and you're sorry. I need you to just be you, and explain what happened."

"I DID! You just brushed me off."

"Because I was upset and was thinking straight." Greg said, as Warrick backed out of the car.

"And you are now?"

"Yes! And damnit, I was going to call you when I woke up. Now you pull this stunt. What, did you think you could scare me back into loving you?"

"I thought I'd kidnap you and take you out somewhere."

"In...my...BOXERS!" Greg screamed the last word.

"Sorry you don't wear pants."

"You know I don't." Greg screamed.

"Well I'm so fu--" Nick was cut off.

Greg was kissing him.

Weren't they just screaming at eachother.

Greg was kissing him.

We're in a car...Greg's kissing me...Warrick's right outside...GREG'S KISSING ME...that means he's forgiven me...right?
Greg pulled away, smirking at Nick.

"I knew if I blew you off you'd do something crazy." Greg said, crawling into the frontseat.

"Wait...YOU KNEW?"

"Yep. I just wanted to see how pissed I could get you."

"Where are you going?" Nick asked.

"The bedroom." Greg said, as he left the car.
