Nick/Greg
Summary: Drabble about how Greg accidently outs himself to Nick.
A/N: Yes, pointless. Yes, stupid. Blame the bunnies for all of it.

"Kellie? There's someone on the other line."

"Go ahead," he could hear the smile in her voice. "And maybe it'll be that Nick guy that you're always fawning over!"

"I do not fawn!" He exclaimed before switching lines. "Hello, Greg speaking."

"Hey, Greg," came the familiar Texan drawl.

"Uh, Nick... hang on, there's someone on the other line." He flipped back over, "Kellie, you were right. It is Nick, and I kind of wanted to speak to him. And before you say anything, no, I will not ask him out! He's out of my league."

"Uh, Greg... this is Nick."

"See now, this is where we run into some problems, Greg."

Greg could only nod dumbly, wondering what the hell he'd been thinking by not making sure it was Kellie he was talking to. Then, he realized that he was on the phone and Nick couldn't see him nodding.

"I'm sorry, I was never going to tell you, but..."

"No, just let me finish. You want to ask me out but think I'm out of your league. That creates problems for me." He spoke; Greg wondered how he could sound so happy while breaking someone's heart. "Now, see, if you not asking me out were because you didn't like men, I think I could handle that. As it is, I may just have to ask you out myself."

"You... what?" He couldn't believe it.

"I said that I might just have to ask you out myself, as in, how do you feel about breakfast after shift tomorrow? I know a great place that starts serving right about then."

"That sounds great," Greg couldn't believe his ears. "Hang on."

This time he made sure that he was flipped over; he didn't want another mix-up.

"Kellie, you'll never believe what just happened..."
