Nick was walking down the hall with Warrick, dodging running lab techs and CSIs. They got into the lounge before Archie plowed them down.

"Greg, you ca--" Sara stopped talking, "Hi guys."

Greg turned around and blushed scarlet.

"How long have they been there?" Greg whispered, watching them get a cup of coffee each.

"Just a few seconds. Don't worry so much."

"That's..." Greg grinned at the others sheepishly once he realized he'd said that really loud.

"That's easy for you to say." Greg whispered to her.

"Just chill out, and watch." Sara said, going over to Warrick.

"Hey Sara." Warrick said.

"Hey War, I was wondering if you and Nick could come over to Greg's. We're going to watch a movie, and hang out. We wouldn't mind the extra company." Sara said, smiling widely.

"I can come." Warrick said, looking at Nick.

"Sounds like fun." Nick told her, smiling back.

"Cool, you guys can come over after shift." Sara said, "Well...maybe an hour after."

Both men laughed as she walked back over to Greg.

"We need to finish up our case. See you guys later." Sara said, dragging Greg out.

Both just shrugged at each other and finished their coffee.

**
"We already finished the case, you dirty little liar." Greg said, making Sara laugh.

"Ah yes, I am a dirty little liar. But you see, we are now off. They're off in thirty minutes. We can use that time to get you ready."

"I guess that's okay." Greg said, making Sara laugh.

"Of course it is. Come on, Mr. Shy." Sara teased.

"I'm not shy. Scared, nervous, and any other synonym, yes. Shy, never." Greg said, as they clocked out.

"Please." Sara said, going over to her locker.

"What? It's the truth. Jeez." Greg told her, opening his locker.

Both grabbed their coats, and headed to the door.

"Okay so wardrobe is going to be hard. We put you into some comfy jeans that look good for your ass." Sara said, making Greg turn red.

"Since when did you cuss?"

"Since I started hanging out with you. We put you into one of those crazy ugly shirts. You can do whatever with your feet. Then fix your hair up in spikes, they're coming down. I think that's it though. They'll know something's up if you put on eyeliner or something."

Greg nodded, as they took their separate cars to his apartment.

Sara grabbed her spare clothes from her trunk, and they raced up the stairs. Greg won by a long shot, grinning victoriously at her.

"Oh shut up, and let us in." She snapped.

Greg did just that and let her go get changed. He was still looking through his jeans when she came in.

"Just pick a pair of comfy jeans. Not too tight though." Sara said, making Greg laugh.

"They're all tight, what are you on about." Greg said, "I could wear these insanely low jeans."

"They look like girls hip huggers." Sara said, giving them an eye.

"I could always wear them tomorrow." Greg said, as both smirked.

Greg finally picked a pair at random. Sara was looking through his shirts, looking close to screaming.

"You have to many shirts." Sara decided, "Like way to many. I guess going with a Marilyn Manson shirt would be fine."

"What's wrong with a normal t-shirt?"

"The fact that that's all you wear now. It's slightly frustrating." Sara said, picking out two shirts, "Okay you can go with Marilyn Manson or you can go with the Red Hot Chili Peppers shirt."

Greg laughed at both choices before going into the closet. He walked into the closet and pulled out a Nine Inch Nails shirt. He smirked widely as Sara just looked dumbfounded.

"Where the hell did that come from? I looked through all of the shirts." Sara said, as Greg pointed up.

Sara now noticed that there were shirts hanging up on an upper pole that she hadn't seen.

"The ones up there are for special occasions." Greg said, making Sara laugh.

"You and your occasions." Sara said, leaving so Greg could change.

When he came out, Sara gave a low whistle.

"Those are insanely low too." Sara said, "Bend over."

"What?!"

"I want to see if you can sit in them, and not see any of your butt." Sara said, letting him bend down.

"Well?"

"Nope! Nothing shows. Leaves nothing to the imagination either. Why do you have to be gay?" Sara asked, "All the hot guys are, and it's not fair."

Greg snorted at her ranting.

"The ones I'm wearing tomorrow are probably going to show something." Greg said, "Do you really think this plan is going to work?"

Sara nodded her head.

"You tease the fuck out of him like this for a few days and something's bound to happen." Sara told him.

Greg jumped up and down a few times, seeing if the pants would travel down.

"Do you even have underwear on?" Sara asked, not seeing an outline.

"Nope." Greg said, smirking at her.

"Seriously though, are those girl jeans? I won't laugh. I swear!" Sara said, making Greg laugh.

"No! These are men's jeans." Greg said, "So how long till they get here?"

"An hour, maybe longer." Sara said, as Greg nodded.

"Just long enough to do my hair." Greg said, going to the bathroom.

Sara followed him, intrigued. She'd never seen Greg spike his hair up before. Especially in the actual spikes, that went all over the place.

Greg just smirked at her, before pulling out the styling products.

"Shit Greg. Is this a beauty salon or a bathroom?" Sara asked, making Greg laugh.

"Both."

She watched him get the left over gel out of his hair, before he actually started putting it up. Every time he didn't like a spike, he'd start the whole process again. The whole thing looked way to complicated for Sara to understand.

"You know, you really are the vainest person I know. You spend more time on your hair than Catherine. Which is saying something." Sara said, as Greg finished his hair up.

"Yeah well it has to be perfect right." Greg said, "What movies are we watching?"

"The Order.." Sara said, making Greg laugh.

"Can you really see them watching The Order?" Greg asked.

"Well they're going to." Sara said, "Then after we play a game, when we're done we'll all start leaving one by one. Warrick first, because he always leaves first. It's like his trademark. Then a few minutes later, I'll leave. Which means you can tease Nick all by your lonesome."

Greg laughed at her, both hearing a knock on the door. Sara smirked at him, while he went to answer the door. He opened it to see Warrick standing there. He gave an appreciative look to Greg before walking in.

"Nicky's going to be here in a few." Warrick said, "Nice outfit, by the way Greg."

Greg blushed a little, making the other two laugh. Sara walked with Warrick to the kitchen to make some popcorn up. Greg walked with them, getting out the popper so she could. Warrick and Greg both took a seat on the counter. Greg took a bite out of a carrot, laughing with them.

"Why are you eating a carrot?" Sara asked.

"Because they're good for you." Greg said, taking a big bite out of it for emphasis.

Warrick laughed and shook his head.

They heard a knock on the door, as Greg slid off the counter. He could hear the laughter in the kitchen as Sara screamed.

"WHAT WAS THAT FOR!?"

Greg shook his head, opening the door. He smirked at Nick, whose eyes widened at Greg.

"H-Hey Greg. Am I late?" Nick asked.

"Nope." Greg told him, letting Nick in.

Both watched at Warrick ran past them, Sara on his heels with a glass of water. Sara's shirt was wet, and she was laughing hysterically.

"Do I even want to know?" Nick asked, laughing as Greg shook his head.

"It'd probably be a whole lot healthier if you didn't." Greg told him, hearing the popcorn pop.

Both men walked into the kitchen, as Greg took a hold of the handle. He twirled the handle around, letting the popcorn even out. A few minutes later he poured it into a bowl, both seeing the steam.

Greg took out some butter, and then bent down to get a little pan. He placed the butter into the pan and started melting it. When that was finished, he poured it on top of the popcorn; putting some salt in there for good measure he placed a plate on top of the bowl.

"What're you doing?" Nick asked.

Greg held the plate and bowl firmly, before shaking it lightly.

"I'm making popcorn." Greg told him, placing the bowl down.

He removed the plate and placed it in the sink. He placed the popper in there too, grinning at Nick.

"Well? Try some." Greg said, as Nick popped a kernel in his mouth.

"This tastes really good Greg." Nick said, smiling at him.

"Yes! The popcorn is done." Sara said, coming in with Warrick.

"Nick, Warrick, can you get the drinks?"

Greg led the bowl into the living room, Sara followed him, grinning widely.

"What did you do? Nick was redder than a tomato!" Sara whispered.

"I bent down. I just needed a pan." Greg told her, as she grinned wickedly.

"So what movies are we watching?" Nick asked, coming in with a handful of cokes.

"The Order." Greg said, sitting on the floor.

Sara took a seat on the couch, as Nick sat next to Greg. Warrick took a seat next to Sara, as they started watching the movie.

After the movie was over, Greg stuck his tongue out.

"That totally sucked! Sara, you are redeemed of getting movies from now on." Greg said, "I just wasted like...an hour and a half of my life."

"Oh shut up. It was good." Sara said, making Greg snort.

"Whatever."

"Guys, stop fighting. It was an okay movie, but I'm with Greg on wasting my life." Nick said, making Greg smile widely.

"Well I'm with Sara." Warrick said, as Sara gave Greg a triumphant smile.

"Okay, okay, okay. Enough about the movie that should never have been put in my DVD player." Greg said, making Sara glare.

"So what game do you guys want to play?" Sara asked, as the other two men shrugged.

"Let's play Clue." Nick suggested, making the other three snicker.

"I'm game." Greg said, as the other two nodded.

The game was uneventful, except for the extra card that was put in to spice it up a bit. They added the card under the location, and so the game began.

"Okay. I've got it." Greg said.

"Which means he doesn't." Sara said, letting Warrick hear her.

Both started snickering, as Greg glared at them.

"Okay...it was Colonel Mustard, in the Conservatory, with the rope." Greg said, as Nick shook his head.

"I can prove you wrong." Nick told him, showing him the Conservatory card.

Greg stuck his tongue out at Nick, who smiled at Greg.

Twenty more minutes and Nick thought he knew.

"Okay. It was Colonel Mustard, with the rope...in the bedroom." Nick said, turning scarlet.

Everyone started laughing at the accusation.

"I can prove you wrong." Greg said, showing him Colonel Mustard.

Nick grinned and wrote something on his pad. After another ten minutes Nick ended the game, with a huge smile.

"Okay it was Mrs. Peacock, with the rope, in the bedroom." Nick said, as Warrick checked the envelope.

"Peacock, rope, and bedroom. Good job Nick." Warrick said, "I thought it was Colonel Mustard."

"So did I, until Greg showed me the card."

"Greg, you tricked us!" Sara exclaimed, "Now that I feel insulted, I'm going to sulk."

Greg laughed and shrugged.

"That's how you win the game." Greg said, smirking.

Warrick shook his head.

"Well guys, I need to get going." Warrick said, as they all frowned.

"Okay, see you at work tomorrow." Nick said, as Warrick left.

Ten minutes later Sara left too, saying she needed to catch up on the police scanner.

"G, thanks for having me over tonight." Nick said, as Greg laughed.

"It's no problem. I loved the company." Greg said, "We should do this more often. Minus playing Clue, I don't think I can take the bedroom accusation again."

Nick laughed at Greg lightly.

"So Greg, why didn't you ask me and Warrick yourself?" Nick asked.

"Sara wanted to, so I let her." Greg said, licking his lips unconsciously.

Nick nodded his head.

"So, did you guys wrap up your case?" Nick asked.

"Yeah, it was the gardener." Greg said, as both of their heads started inching towards the other.

"That's cool." Nick said.

Their heads were so close, all Greg had to do was go a little bit farther. He was about to until Nick stood up.

"Well I need to get going Greggo." Nick said quickly, before leaving the apartment.

Greg's mouth dropped open, as he leaned all his weight on one arm. He looked completely thunderstruck. What the fuck was that?

He shook his head before standing up. It was all going to be okay, he was just rushing things. Tease him first, please him later. That was the plan, and he was going to stick to it.

***

Sara came over to Greg's an hour before shift, letting herself into the apartment.

"Greg? Where are you?"

"I'm in the bathroom. These pants are WAY to low." Greg said, coming out of it.

"What in the....how'd you...DAMN!" Sara said, completely at a loss.

"I told you." Greg said, going to the bedroom.

"Oh ho ho. Hold your horses! Those look really good on you. Like...damn." Sara said, making Greg laugh.

"I don't know what shirt to wear though." Greg said, as Sara laughed.

"How do you walk in those?"

"Years of practice." Greg told her, as they shifted through the shirts.

"How about this one?" Sara asked, holding it out.

"He's already seen me in it." Greg said, as Sara threw it over her shoulder.

"This one?"

"To bright."

"And this one?"

"To busy."

"Greg...all of your shirts are bright and busy." Sara said, as Greg laughed loudly.

"How about I wear this one." Greg said, pulling out a black shirt with big white words.

"Please excuse me; I was just diagnosed with Attention Defi— Hey! What's that over there?" Sara said, laughing hard.

"Yay or Nay?"

"YAY!" Sara said, as Greg changed shirts.

He went back to the bathroom, and started on his hair. It only took half the time that it did last night. He smirked at Sara widely, laughing once the other shook her head.

"So what happened after I left last night?"

"Nothing...we almost kissed...but he ran away faster than a road runner." Greg said, as Sara frowned.

"That....sucks." Sara said slowly.

"You're telling me. I swear I felt like the biggest dumb ass last night." Greg told her, pulling on some sneakers.

"Can you run in those?" Sara asked, as Greg stood up.

She watched him run down the hallway and back at his normal speed.

"I...hate you. I hate you!" Sara said, "I can't do that, and I'm a girl!"

"There's something I could say, but I'm going to refrain from saying said thing because I'm afraid of you smacking me. So since I don't want to get smacked, I'm not going to say said thing."

"...huh?" Sara said, "I didn't follow that at all."

Greg just smiled at her.

"So do you want to take your car or mine? So we can save some gas."

"Fucking gas prices are outrageous." Sara said, "Yours, because it's a lot hotter than my ride."

Greg smirked and started walking to the door.

"Come on then." Greg said, motioning for the door.

The drive there was loud, as Greg and Sara were talking with the music blaring.

"Ack. You are going to kill people with those pants today." Sara told him, as Greg got out of the car.

He pulled up the pants a bit, and threw an evil look at Sara.

"That's the point my dear." Greg said, as Sara just laughed.

They walked into the lab, greeting the leaving workers with a big smile.

"So how long until you----Hey Grissom." Sara said, as the older man gave Greg a double take.

"Hey. Um...I'm giving assignments out in thirty minutes." Grissom said, walking away.

"Well you caught his attention." Sara said, as they both laughed.

Greg leaned against the lockers, talking to Sara about random things. Nick walked in with Catherine, who smiled at the other two occupants.

"Hey guys." Catherine said, "I love your shirt Greg. It's cute."

Greg grinned at Catherine widely.

"What do you think Nick?" Sara asked, "About his shirt?"

Nick looked at Greg and his mouth dropped.

"Uh...um...it...erm...looks nice...really funny." Nick said, leaving the room quickly.

Catherine looked at the retreating back confused, before turning back to the other two. Greg and Sara were doing a little victory dance, but stopped immediately when Catherine looked. They both looked in separate directions with smiles on their faces.

"Work. Yeah we need to get to work. Later Catherine." Sara said, as they left the locker room.

"Did you see his face?!" Greg whispered excitedly.

"Yes! I thought he was about to have a heart attack." Sara said, smiling widely.

"I did too!" Greg told her, as they entered the break room.

Nick was already there, sitting next to Warrick. Greg sat down next to him, and smiled.

"What's up Greg?" Warrick asked, smiling at the youngest.

"Nothing much, how about you?"

"Nothing much over here either." Warrick said, laughing.

Greg ignored that Nick was staring down at his pants. He ignored the fact that Sara was giggling in the chair across from hers.

"So Nicky..." Greg asked, making Nick's head snap up.

"Yeah."

"You want to come over and watch another movie?" Greg asked, as Nick nodded.

"Cool. I'll see you after shift then." Greg said, as Catherine and Grissom walked in.

Assignments were given out, Grissom partnering Nick and Greg together, Warrick and Sara. Then Catherine was with Grissom, before they all started to head out.

"I'll see you later Sara." Greg said, smiling cheekily.

Greg caught up with Nick and smiled widely.

"Your car or mine?" Greg asked, as Nick shrugged.

"Let's take mine." Nick said, avoiding Greg's eyes.

"What is it again?"

"What's what again?" Nick asked.

"The scene, duh." Greg said, making Nick blush.

"Oh...simple case. It's easy...B&E. They caught the guy trying to rob the place though. We just have to collect the evidence." Nick said, seeing Greg nod.

"That does sound simple." Greg said, "Well then let's get going cowboy."

Nick's blush darkened as Greg dragged him to the car. When they arrived at the scene Brass was already there, as usual.

"Hey Nick, Greg." He greeted.

"Hey Jim." Nick said, "Why'd you take the simple case tonight?"

"Because I want it to be done and over with so I can get some sleep." Jim said, letting them into the place.

"That sounds quite lazy of you." Greg said, making the other man laugh.

"Yes it is, and I don't really care."

Greg put on some gloves, while Nick asked the couple how the man got in.

"Greggo, he got in through the window." Nick called to him.

"That's so cliché." Greg said, "Robbers need to get more creative if they're going to try to steal stuff. Give us a fucking challenge."

Nick and Brass both shook their heads.

"So where's the perp?" Nick asked.

"In a squad car outside." Brass responded.

"Why isn't he downtown yet?" Nick asked, tilting his head.

"Because we were waiting for you."

Greg rolled his eyes before opening the window. He jumped out of it, and closed it.

"G, what the hell are you doing?" Nick asked the younger man.

"Dusting for prints. Unless the window was already open, which it probably was because the latch was up. Then he had to use his hands out here, not in there." Greg said, dusting the window.

He smirked at Nick collecting the fingerprints, as Nick glared.

"Alright smartass, let's see you get back in here." Nick said, watching Greg.

The other man just shrugged before opening the window up. He crawled in, and stumbled falling to the floor. Nick snickered at him, before helping him up.

"That's what woke us up. We heard a loud thud." The old man said.

Greg pulled up his pants some so his crack wouldn't show.

"Thanks for that G." Nick said, patting his back.

'He's so cute, but he can be such an ass at times.' Greg thought, taking deep breaths.

"Did he touch anything?" Greg asked, "Like...did he already have things in this hands?"

"Yes he had a bag in his hand. It's right there." The old woman told Greg.

"You're completely sure it was him." Nick said, as the other two nodded.

"If you wouldn't mind my asking, how'd you stop him?" Greg asked.

"I had a gun pointed at him, letting Beth call the police." The old man said, as Beth nodded.

"Alright. We have to take this bag, but when we're through with it you can have it back." Nick said, "You know, the things in it."

Both nodded their understanding, letting the two men work around the room. Nick watched as Greg bent down, picking something up. His face flushed a little pink, so he had to turn away when Greg got back up.

"I think we're done Nicky." Greg said, as the other man nodded.

"Let's get some prints from the perp and compare it with the window prints." Nick said, as Greg nodded.

"Do you want to or should I?" Greg asked.

"I'll do it. I still don't understand why they didn't automatically take him to the station, but it's more convenient this way." Nick said, smiling at Greg.

'Don't drool. Do not, I repeat, Do not drool Sanders. You drool, he'll think you have some sort of saliva problem. Which is anything BUT attractive.' Greg thought.

"G? Are you okay?"

'Great! Now he thinks I'm a psycho.'

"I'm fine. Let's print him." Greg said, walking to Brass.

"Hey Jim, can we print the..." Nick asked, as Brass held up a sheet.

"Already did." Jim told them.

"W-Well damn. That just saved us a few minutes. Thanks Jim!" Greg said cheerfully.

"Like I said; I want to get this done and over with."

"We'll call you when it's confirmed." Nick said, as the older man nodded.

"Hey Nicky, can I drive back?" Greg asked, as Nick shook his head.

"Nope. It's my car so I drive." Nick told him, as Greg stuck his tongue out.

"Fine."

The drive back was a silent one...well almost silent. Greg was humming a tune that was getting stuck in Nick's head. They drove into a parking space right next to the door of the lab.

"Come on Greggo." Nick said, opening the door open.

Greg walked into the lab, feeling a rush of cool air hitting his hot body.

"It feels so much better in here than out there." Greg said, "Almost makes me wish I could wear a skirt."

Nick's eyes widened.

"Why would you want to wear a skirt?"

"Well they're comfortable, you get better air access. Plus if you want to screw someone, that's also easy access." Greg said, grinning at the Texans growing blush.

"Um...I...I'll take the prints to Jacqui." Nick said, running off.

"We saw that." David said, coming up from behind with Sara.

"What the hell are you doing back?" Greg asked.

"It was a prank call." Sara told him.

"That sucks."

"Uh huh. So how's your quest coming?"

"It's not a quest. It's a plan, and I don't know how it's coming." Greg said, "I get him to blush a lot though."

"Well try being blunt when you hang out tonight." Sara said.

"Yeah...blunt. Well I'm off." Greg said, leaving the two alone.

"I bet you Nick kisses Greg before Greg kisses Nick." David said.

"How much?" Sara asked.

"Fifty dollars." David said.

"You're on. Greg will totally kiss Nick first." Sara said, "Nick's to shy for that."

David shrugged before going back into the trace lab.

***

Greg opened the door to his apartment, letting Nick come in. He smiled at Nick widely, before closing the door. He stretched, letting a little sliver of skin show. Nick thought he was about to drool, but mentally slapped himself...well...he didn't slap himself. But he walked into the table.

"Careful Nicky. You'll break something." Greg said, as Nick blushed red.

"It's fine Greg. So who else is coming over?" Nick asked.

"Maybe Sara and Warrick. Not sure though. Hungry?" Greg asked, "I've got bananas, carrots...I could make a salad."

Nick's blush darkened, as Greg's shoulder devil started cackling.

"I think some chips would do us good." Nick said, "Maybe a few cokes...to uh...drink."

Greg nodded, walking to the kitchen. He let his hips sway, and could feel Nick's eyes on him. When he was in the kitchen, he had to grab onto the counter to keep from falling down. He grabbed a bag of chips, and a few cokes, before going back to the living room.

"I'm going to change. I'll be right back." Greg said, taking off his shirt.

Nick's mouth dropped wide open, as he watched Greg walk away.

'Nick, do not think of the sexy Greg. Do NOT think of the sexy Greg. Think about him, no I shouldn't think about him. Friends, that's all we are.' Nick thought, as the door knocked.

"I'll get it for you Greg." Nick said, opening the door to see Sara and Warrick.

"Hey, did you guys start without us?" Sara asked, as Nick shook his head.

"Cool, where's Greg?" Warrick asked, coming in.

"He's uh...he's erm...changing." Nick fumbled, making Warrick raise a brow.

"Okay." Warrick said.

They waited around for a few minutes before Greg came out wearing some sweat pants that hung way to low on his hips, and a shirt that said something about Hawaii.

"So what movie is it?" Sara asked.

"V for Vendetta." Greg said.

"Oh yeah! Natalie Portman rocks!" Sara said.

"I didn't know if you guy would want to see it. But you guys liked Boondock Saints so..."

"I wanted to see that when it came out G, so no worries." Nick said, smiling.

Warrick nodded his agreement, as Greg bent down to put it in. Nick almost tipped out of his seat, but Warrick caught him.

"Hey we'll get more cokes." Warrick said, pulling Nick into the kitchen.

Warrick gave Nick a look that screamed, 'What the hell is wrong with you?'

"Rick, you remember the crush I told you about that I couldn't tell you the name of because he works with us crush?"

"...Yeah."

"It's Greg." Nick whispered.

"...Are you serious?"

Nick nodded.

"...This must be torture for you! I mean the low jeans, the tight shirts...those sweats...oh."

"Yeah." Nick said, taking a deep breath.

"Just chill out, and let's watch the movie." Warrick said.

They walked back in and Warrick and Sara took the couch. Nick and Greg took the floor again. The movie started and they soon were sucked into the movie's plot. By the time it was over they were all shocked.

"That was some intense shit." Warrick said.

"They could've gone without the fireworks, and the motion of the knives." Sara said.

"It's from the creators of the Matrix, what do you expect?" Greg asked, "I thought it was awesome."

"I did too. Natalie Portman and Hugo Weaving played their characters well. Especially since Hugo couldn't do any facial expressions." Nick said.

"Exactly. Which isn't an easy thing to do. They really were dedicated to their roles. I mean Natalie Portman shaved her hair off." Greg agreed.

"Yeah, but it was slightly twisted." Sara said, "Kind of gave me the creeps."

"What? That she shaved her head." Greg said.

"No just the whole end." Sara said, "Oh crap, I have to get going. I have to get to work early tomorrow."

They watched Sara leave quickly, almost running into the door. The three men started laughing, when she flipped them off.

"I need to get going too. Tina's going to be wondering where I am." Warrick said, "Later guys."

They both waved as Warrick left.

"Then there were two." Greg said, making Nick laugh.

"So G, did you have fun tonight?"

"Lots actually. We need to have a certain night where we do this. It'll be fun." Greg said, as Nick nodded.

"That'd be awesome actually. Give me something to do on a day instead of sitting around all day, looking like a bum."

Greg snickered at the image of Nick sitting around like a lazy person.

"That's a funny mental image Nicky."

"To you it is. To me it's horrific."

"It's not that bad to sit around."

"You're right, it's worse." Nick told him.

"Now you're over exaggerating things." Greg said.

Nick shook his head.

"No I'm not."

Greg leaned on his arms before popping up. Nick jumped slightly, and his mouth dropped again when the sweats went down farther.

"Y-You know what. I think I need to get going too...I've got to tape a few things for Warrick. I'll see you tomorrow Greg." Nick said, going over to the door.

He fumbled with the door knob, succeeding in almost hitting himself in the head when he opened it. He grinned sheepishly at Greg before leaving.

Greg rolled his eyes at the door and went to plan tomorrows scheme. This would hopefully be the last scheme to win Nick over, and if not...then he'd go to his instincts. Which he hoped it wouldn't have to go that far.

***

Greg hit his head repeatedly on the desk. Sara was watching him, mildly interested in the dull thud it made every time.

"Why is he so oblivious?" Greg said, "No, how can he be so oblivious. Here I am, practically throwing myself at him, and he's like, 'That's all well and good. Better luck next time.' Stupid Texans."

Sara snorted quite loudly.

"You're just mad because your plans have all failed. Seriously you could write a book titled, "How to catch a Cowboy for Dummies". You'd make a freaking fortune too."

Greg laughed loudly, watching Nick and Catherine come in.

"Here's the next step, made by me. Go with the blatantly obvious." Sara said.

"Huh?"

"Men, you think you're so smart, when you actually only have a pea sized brain."

"Hey I take offense to that." Nick said, joining them.

Greg noticed Nick trying not to look down at his pants. Yes the lab had a dress code. It was obvious things like no leather, no vinyl, and things like that. Never said anything about tight pants that look like they've been spray painted on, and should look illegal in the state of Nevada. Nope, nothing in the code about that.

"Of course you would, you're a macho man."

"Okay, no I'm not." Nick said.

"Yeah, you are." The three chorused.

Sara kicked Greg's leg, making the other jump and yelp.

"You okay G?" Nick asked.

"Yeah something bit me." Greg said, glaring at Sara.

"That sucks man." Nick said, as Greg smiled.

"Yeah, so Nick...before you head out can I talk to you?" Greg asked.

"Yeah, sure. We aren't heading out for a while though....so maybe before lunch." Nick said, as Greg nodded.

"That's fine."

Greg and Sara left, and as soon as they were out of seeing range, Greg hit Sara's arm.

"What was that for?"

"Kicking me with those damned heels." Greg snapped, "Those hurt!"

Sara just snickered at the other, and pulled him into Hodges lab.

"Hey David." Sara said.

"Hey guys." David responded.

"So David, if say Greg here was in love with a co-worker, how should he tell said co-worker?"

"Oh, are you talking about Stokes?" He asked.

Both of their jaws dropped.

"Just tell him up front." David said, "Because being subtle isn't working."

Greg rolled his eyes.

"I haven't been being subtle, I'm basically throwing myself at him, and he's not even paying attention."

"Yeah, you are being subtle. I guess you're just being a chicken. Here I thought being a Sanders, meant being daring. Guess you proved me wrong." David said.

"I am not being subtle! I am not a chicken either! I am daring, just a little bit out of my game."

"Yeah so out of it, you can't even ask a guy out."

"Yes I can!" Greg said, stomping his foot.

"No you can't! If you could, you would've. Face it Greg, you're a chicken." David said, as Sara smiled behind Greg.

"Fine! You want to see it, fine." Greg said, leaving the tiny lab in search of Nick.

David stopped what he was doing, and the two followed Greg.

"You did that on purpose." Sara hissed.

"Yeah I did!"

They followed him to where Nick was talking with the other members of the team. Grissom was telling them a joke, which got the other three laughing loudly.

Greg stopped at the door, and took a big breath.

"Hey Greg." Warrick said, as Greg pulled Nick up from his seat.

Nick looked puzzled, but the puzzlement turned to shock when Greg's lips were on his.

The team's mouths were open, and David and Sara were grinning. Sara giving a high five to David.

When Greg broke the kiss, he looked straight into Nick's eyes.

"You are the stupidest person I have ever had the courtesy of meeting. I've been throwing myself to you over the past few weeks. I'm in love with you Nick Stokes, so there I said it." Greg said, letting go of Nick and storming out.

Nick couldn't get his mouth to work, and looked like a fish.

He was brought back to the planet when Sara tapped his shoulder.

"Aren't you going to go after him?" Sara asked.

"He li—loves me? But he's str---"

"He's not straight, your not straight, we're all not straight. No go to him and show him how straight you can't be." Sara said, watching Nick run out of the room.

"Um...I am." Warrick said, "Straight that is."

"That doesn't matter!" Sara said, "If it gets those two oblivious people together, then I can sleep."

When Nick caught up with Greg, he all but tackled him to the Tahoe he was trying to get in.

"Why'd you run away? I wanted to tell you something."

"What's that?" Greg asked.

"I love you too." Nick said smiling.

"Then why'd you totally avoid me when you were at my house. Every time something close to romantic would happen, you'd run away."

"I was nervous. Plus me thinking you were straight, didn't help."

"That's it, I'm writing it."

"What?" Nick asked, startled by the change in subject.

"How to Catch a Cowboy for Dummies. Except I don't think everyone has a David Hodges to help them." Greg said, ignoring the look on Nick's face.

Yeah, Greg had definitely caught his cowboy. A stupid cowboy, yes. But he could handle the stupidity. He wasn't that smart sometimes either.
