Summary: Do you have any idea what you're doing to me?

Do you have any idea what you're doing to me?

The room is small, the oppressive heat making it a little difficult to breathe. You're on the other side of the room, bending over to grab something out of your kit, and all I want to do is grab your hips and plaster myself against your back.

You unconsciously lick a drop of sweat from your lip, my eyes following your pink tongue as it makes its way across your lip, leaving behind a glistening trail.

I swallow hard and look away once I realize I'm staring. I try to concentrate on fingerprinting the table, but I can see you moving from the corner of my eye, distracting me.

I find about three usable prints, and I turn towards you to see what you're doing, only to find liquid brown eyes staring back at me. You grin, and I have to lock my knees to keep from falling.

We stare at each other for a while and I'm about to drown in the rich chocolate depths of your eyes when you look away, saying something about lifting a footprint you found. I take a deep breath, holding it for a few seconds to get myself back under control.

I feel sweat trickle down my back, my shirt clinging uncomfortably against my skin.

Turning back to my kit I grab my flashlight to check the floor for evidence for one last time.

I get down on my hands and knees, painstakingly going over the carpet as I slowly move backwards. I actually manage to concentrate and my mind is blissfully empty, until I bump into something soft and yielding.

I slowly look over my shoulder and find your smiling face, your eyes twinkling with something I can't identify.

I'm sorry, I say and your smile widens. You answer with a 'no you're not', and you reach out to brush away the sweat on my brow.

My breathing hitches and a shiver runs down my spine as your fingers touch my skin. You wink and then you're gone, leaving me gaping.

Maybe you do know what you're doing after all...
