It's laundry for christ's sake. Nick asking him to get the laundry out of the dryer shouldn't make him want to kiss Nick senseless. But here he is, staring at Nick, a sheepish smile on his face.

"Greg? What's up?" Nick asks.

Greg blinks, he's not sure how to explain what he's feeling right now and even if he did he's not convinced that Nick would understand. So, he shrugs and makes a dismissive gesture. "Nothing."

When Nick arches an eyebrow he gives him another shrug. "It's nothing, really. I mean, you'd just think I'm weird or something."

Nick grins. "I think that ship sailed a long time ago, G. Now tell me."

"Don't you have to go to work?"

Nick shakes his head. "You're not getting off that easy, G. I ain't leaving till you tell me."

Greg knows he lost the fight, because if he's learned one thing over the past months it's that Nick doesn't give up when he's got his mind set on something. Or someone for that matter. "You asked me to get the laundry out of the dryer."

"And?"

Greg sighs, it's clear that Nick's not following, which isn't all that surprising since Greg isn't giving him a whole lot to work with. "It just means a lot to me, okay?"

"Right. Maybe you could elaborate on that a little bit, Greg."

Greg draws a deep breath, fearing that even though Nick already knows he can be a bit weird at times, this will have him thinking that Greg's completely insane.

He looks away, not wanting to look into Nick's eyes when he says, "It's something my mom told me. She really hated doing laundry and when I asked her why she did it any way she said it was all about the little things you do for those you love. Even when you don't want to."

He feels his face starting to flush and he can't believe he just told Nick that, not only because it sounds corny as hell, but also because Nick's not saying anything. And he should because Greg just told him he loves him, not in those exact words, but still.

"You're thinking I'm crazy, right?" He asks, trying hard to keep his tone of voice light, cursing silently as he hears his voice trail off. His eyes search for Nick's and as their eyes meet he gasps, surprised to find Nick standing right next to him.

He raises an eyebrow at Nick, who shakes his head, reaching up with one hand, running his fingers over Greg's cheek before pressing his lips against Greg's.

Nick pulls away, still shaking his head as he whispers, "I love you too, Greg."
