The cracking sound of bones on wood was sickening and Gil winced as he had to witness his lover losing it so completely with no chance of helping him at the moment.

Nick's jaw was squared, his brows furrowed and with an expression of a deep seated pain he looked after Dave who followed the last dead kid outside.

Gil wanted to help Nick, wanted to make it easier for him. But he knew that right now there was nothing he could do. So he waited until they were alone at their home and he could caress this squared jaw.
