"So we've got a plan?" Calleigh looked over at her conspirator.

"Well, Horatio needs to know about Yelina and you and that Yelina knows about us. Its eating him up inside, though the stubborn redhead won't admit it." Speed agreed.

"Yelina is all worked up because she wants to spend Christmas with me, but doesn't know how to tell Horatio about us." Calleigh rolled her eyes.

"And Horatio is all worked up because he doesn't want to turn down Yelina's invitation. He wants to spend it with Eric and me." Speed sighed. "Fine mess those two have gotten themselves in to."

Calleigh grinned. "So, we, being the loving people that we are-"

"Don't forget devious," Speed added.

"Decided to set everyone up, so it can all come out and we can have one big happy Christmas dinner that you're cooking." Calleigh smiled

"Wait." Speed looked at her. "When did I agree to cook?"

"Just now." Calleigh batted her eyelashes.

"That doesn't work on me," Speed glared at her.

"Come on, I can't cook. Eric can't even boil water- Yelina's not bad but-" Calleigh begged.

"You so owe me," Speed groaned. "Christmas dinner for six people."

"Yippie." Calleigh bounced.

Speed and Calleigh walked down the hallway towards the elevators about to set their plans in motion. They stopped off at the receptionist desk to pick up their messages, when Speed paused and stared at the older couple standing in the lobby.

"Tina?" Speed looked at the receptionist.

"I was just going to page you. Your parents are here." She glanced over at them.

Speed frowned. "This can't be good."

"Tim?" Calleigh laid a hand on his arm.

"Last time I talked to them was over ten years ago," Speed muttered. "And it wasn't a pleasant conversation."

"Want me to get Horatio or Eric?" Calleigh asked concerned at Speed's reaction.

"No," Speed shook his head. "Don't bother them for this."

"Speed, I know you." Calleigh pointed out. "I remember the late night drunk conversations about them."

"Damn, I knew never should have told you." Speed glared at her.

"Do the guys even know about your parents?" Calleigh asked.

"Calleigh." Speed ran a hand through his hair. "Look, I'm just going to go over there and get this over with."

Speed walked up to his parents, Calleigh right by his side.

"Timothy." Mr. Speedle's voice was even no emotionless.

"Dad." Speed looked at the two of them. "What brings you to Miami?"

"Can't we come to see our son?" Mrs. Speedle asked her tone indignant.

"Considering you couldn't have cared less where I ended up over fifteen years ago, no you can't just come to see me." Speed barely held back his anger.

"We were in town and wanted to see how you were faring," Mr. Speedle explained. "Who is this young woman? Aren't you going to introduce us?"

"Hi," Calleigh smiled. "I'm Calleigh Duquesne-."

"She's a catch, Timothy." Mrs. Speedle smiled at her. "I'm glad to see you found someone you could be with."

Speed shook his head. "Mom-"

"I'm lucky to have him." Calleigh took Speed's arm.

"Calleigh-" Speed looked at her.

"Yes, dear." She grinned at him.

"What are you doing?" Speed asked his tone indicating he wasn't happy.

"Oh, I see-" Mr. Speedle snorted.

Calleigh turned towards him. "We're keeping it a secret at the lab, especially since we work together. I'm sorry honey-I just got excited at finally meeting your parents."

The Speedles looked at there son. Speed grinned at Calleigh, then turned towards his parents. "I don't want anyone to spread rumors so-"

"Understandable." Mrs. Speedle beamed at them. "We're in town for a few days, Timothy, I would love for us to have dinner, and to get to know your-"

"Fiancée," Calleigh grinned.

"Lovely." Mrs. Speedle clapped. "By the way I'm Helen and this is my husband George."

Calleigh shook their hands. "It's lovely to finally meet you."

"Where are you staying?" Speed asked.

"The Hyatt downtown," George answered.

"Meet us there tonight?" Helen smiled at the couple.

"I'm looking forward to it," Calleigh smiled brightly. "Honey, we've got to finish that case."

"See you later." Speed walked off with Calleigh. Once they were out of ear range. "I'm going to kill you and no one will find your body."

"Honey," Calleigh pouted.

"Calleigh-" Speed glared. "I don't want to spend time with my parents. I don't want to hide who I am, or who I'm seeing."

"I know." Calleigh turned serious. "But this way they leave Miami happy."

"Why should I make my parents happy, when Eric can't-" Speed paused.

"I what?" Eric asked as he walked up hearing Speed.

"You explain it, sweetheart." Speed walked away.

"I think I screwed up," Calleigh sighed. "Speed's parents showed up and well- I kinda told them I was his fiancée."

"What?" Eric asked surprised. "Why would you do that?"

"Because-" Calleigh paused. "I wanted them to realize they screwed up- that-they have a good son."

"I don't understand," Eric said.

"They threw him out when he was sixteen because of Andrew," Calleigh whispered. "By saying I was his fiancée I thought they would-"

"Suddenly accept him?" Eric sighed. "Calleigh, you know how he is-"

"I know." Calleigh looked at Eric. "Now he has to play someone he is not, because I wanted to show them up and he could have cared less."

Eric hugged her. "You were thinking with your heart. Speed knows that, he'll calm down."

"I just know that if I say I'm not his fiancée they will look down on him even more." Calleigh hugged Eric back. "I just want to poke them and go ‘see he's a great guy and you missed out'."

"He is a great guy," Eric agreed. "And their loss is our gain. Meantime." He looked at Calleigh, "Hands off."

"One little touch." She pouted.

"No," Eric growled. "I'll tell Horatio-"

"Tell Horatio what?" Horatio asked, grinning at his two shocked CSIs.

"How do you do that?" Eric jumped and glared at his lover.

Horatio grinned. "I've been standing here for five minutes, but neither of you noticed." He looked at Calleigh. "You can hold his hand; kiss his cheek to make it look good, but anything else- dumpster dives for you."

Calleigh mock glared. "Fine." She turned and stormed off.

"What was she thinking?" Eric turned towards Horatio. "Speed practically hates his parents."

"Practically?" Horatio shook his head. "I hate them for what they did to him. Even though he won't tell us the full details-"

"The nightmares and bouts of depression say it all." Eric agreed. "I'm going to go and talk to him. I think our moody Speed is making an appearance."

"Be prepared for a long night." Horatio walked off. "We'll have to wear him out."

Eric grinned. "You plan, I'll go and find our wayward lover."

~ Locker Room ~

Speed leaned his head against his locker. "There goes Christmas."

"Why would Christmas be ruined?" Eric asked, sitting next to him.

Speed sighed, "I take it Calleigh explained everything."

"Horatio gave her some guidelines when it came to touching," Eric said, trying to get Speed to laugh.

Speed didn't even respond. "Eric-my parents-she wanted to make them go, wow I missed out on a great son, but that's not fair to you-"

"This isn't about me." Eric stood up and pulled Speed into his arms. "My parents are being bigoted assholes, who have been given every opportunity to talk to me."

Speed pulled out of his arms. "You had to come out to them because I got shot and you lost them. And here I am playing a role to keep my parents from knowing-"

Eric cupped Speed's face in his hands. "Do not go back to feeling guilty about my parents finding out. It would have come out sooner or later."

"Doesn't stop the fact that my parents will go home thinking that I'm with Calleigh." Speed closed his eyes.

"And your parents are assholes," Eric grinned. "Let Calleigh show you up to them. Show them how stupid and pathetic they are, and how wonderful you are. The two situations aren't the same."

"I don't want to spend time with my parents." Speed leaned into Eric's arms.

"I know." Eric held him. "Dinner, and then home to us."

"I hate Calleigh at this moment," Speed sighed pulling out of Eric's arms.

Eric looked around the room making sure they were alone. He pulled Speed back into his arms taking his lips in a deep kiss. Speed opened up to his lover instantaneously. Needing to feel him, taste him. Eric moaned into the kiss pushing Speed against the lockers. Speed rubbed his hardening cock against Eric's hip. Eric thrust back groaning at the sensation. A noise broke the two men apart, both panting lightly.

"Hurry home," Eric grinned as he turned and walked away.

"Bastard," Speed growled.

"Honey?" Alexx walked past Eric. She grinned at Speed's swollen lips, and sudden red cheeks. "I'm sorry, was I interrupting?"

Speed blushed even more. "Not at all."

"So Calleigh told me everything." Alexx sat down. "Are you okay?"

"Yes." Speed smiled at her. "Can I bring you and introduce you as my mom?"

"I am your mom." Alexx kissed his cheek. "And I'm very proud of who you are. And proud of the loving relationship you are in."

Speed wiped a tear from his eye. "Thank you."

Alexx hugged him close. "You're my baby."

~ Dinner ~

"So you're a Crime Scene Investigator?" George asked his son.

"A detective actually," Calleigh answered. "Once you hit Level Three, which Timothy did a few years ago, you're considered a Detective also."

"Calleigh." Speed smiled at her.

"I thought you wanted to be a doctor?" Helen asked.

"That didn't work out." Speed answered shortly.

"Let me guess, you couldn't cut it." George sipped his drink.

Speed took a deep breath, "My reason for being a doctor died." Speed grinned; that shut them up.

Calleigh wanted to smack both of them hard. "Actually, did you know Timothy is one of the top Trace Experts in the state of Florida?"

"Calleigh." Speed looked at her. "They don't want to -"

"Really, I'm surprised." George answered.

"I was geek remember," Speed responded. "Trace isn't much different from being a chef. Lots of little elements that make something bigger. You have to figure out the elements to figure out the solution."

"You always loved science." Helen sipped her wine. "So how did you two meet?"

"At work," Speed retorted.

"We had a bad case and went out after work, got to know each other." Calleigh smiled, patting Speed's arm. "We just talked."

"And you're getting married?" George asked, his tone doubtful.

"It's in the plans." Calleigh smiled. "We've got time."

"So, you're not pregnant." George looked over at Speed. "I mean, why else would a fag marry?"

Speed growled. "Do NOT disrespect Calleigh in front of me."

"George!" Helen glared at him.

"What? You were thinking it," George pointed out. "Did you know Miss Duquesne; our son is or was into guys."

Calleigh stared at him in horror and then her eyes narrowed at him. "For your information Mr. Speedle, I know all about Andrew and what happened. I know that you two are lowlife parents who threw their son out because he loved a man. As far as I'm concerned love is love and he deserves better parents than you."

Speed smiled at Calleigh. "Honey-"

"No!" She stood up and threw her napkin down. "This dinner is over. As far as I'm concerned, you are not welcome back in Miami."

Speed stood up and took Calleigh's hand. "It's amazing how when someone loves you, they accept everything about you."

"The only good thing about what you did to Speed." Calleigh glared at them. "Is the fact he ended up here in Miami where he belongs."

Calleigh turned and pulled Speed out of the restaurant. She got to the car and the tears started. Speed stopped and pulled her close. "It's okay."

"No, it's not," she cried. "I subjected you to that. I'm sorry. They're horrid."

Speed smiled as he wiped away the tears. "No tears, they aren't worth it. Now let's get you home so Yelina can take care of you."

"Yes," She grinned shyly. "Besides I know two boys who want to make sure you get a good night sleep tonight."

"Oh really," Speed smirked.

"Let's go home." Calleigh smiled as she got into the car.

Speed closed the door sighing, "Home."

~ Speed/Eric's Apartment ~

Speed barely even had the door closed before he was attacked. He looked up into blue eyes. Horatio smiled before kissing him slowly and deeply. He felt strong arms encircle him from behind a warm mouth on his neck. Speed groaned at the twin sensation of Horatio's tongue dueling with his and Eric's hot mouth trailing a path up his neck.

The native New Yorker was ushered down the hall, his clothing being pulled off. By the time they hit the bedroom, he was naked, hard, and panting. Horatio smiled at him. He reached out and caressed the hard cock, his thumb stroking the swollen head. Speed thrust into the touch.

Eric pushed up against his back, his hand holding Speed's hips still. Speed moaned at the feeling of Eric's hard cock resting against his ass. He turned his head and took the Cuban's mouth in a passionate kiss.

Eric nipped at his lower lip then rested his head on Speed's shoulder. Both men looked at Horatio, who was watching them intently. "Someone's over dressed."

"Way over dressed," Speed agreed.

"Get him ready." Horatio looked at Eric.

Eric moved Speed towards the bed. Speed looked at his two lovers. "Trust us. This is about you."

Speed nodded and let Eric take control. He found himself flat on his back, arms above his head. He stiffened when he realized what Eric was doing. "I can't-."

"Shhh-." Eric whispered in his ear. "You need to let go- let us take care of you."

"Not tonight-" Speed's body tensed, his erection gone.

"Speed." Horatio knelt next to him. "Trust us."

Speed looked at Horatio then Eric and nodded. Eric tied his hands above his head using a pair of silk scarves, Speed had to smile, they were the ones he had gotten as a gift for Valentine's Day. Normally he didn't mind being restrained, but tonight it had brought back too many memories.

"We love you," Horatio's voice was soft in his ear. "We would never hurt or leave you."

Speed closed his eyes; Horatio had nailed it on the head. "Please-" He wasn't sure what he was asking for. He just knew he needed them.

"Tonight is for you." Eric's hand roamed down Speed's body, enflaming as it went. He leaned over and took a nipple into his mouth. He licked and sucked until it was hard then moved to the other giving a repeat performance.

Horatio ran his hand through Speed's hair tenderly kissed all around his face, finally taking his mouth in a deep kiss. Their tongues dueled as Eric moved further down Speed's body, his tongue dipped into the CSI's bellybutton.

Horatio pulled back, Speed's eyes were black with desire. "Just feel, let go completely."

Eric cupped his balls his thumb running along the sac, then up the hard member, circled the head, and came back down. Speed whimpered at the sensations. The Cuban took him into his mouth sucking greedily on the head, tasting the pre-cum. He licked up the shaft, his tongue sliding across the throbbing vein. He swirled his tongue around the head before swallowing him down. Speed jerked upward shouting, teetering on the edge as Horatio snapped a cock ring on, stopping Speed's impending orgasm.

"No-" Speed groaned, thrusting against Horatio's strong hands. "Please-"

"Not yet," Horatio said.

Eric let the hard cock drop from his mouth; Speed whimpered in response.

"I need you to move onto your side," Horatio gently turned Speed and then spooned up behind him. The two bodies completely flush. Eric joined them, his front to Speed's. "Do you feel this? You are completely surrounded by us."

Speed nodded, tears falling down his cheeks. The warmth between his lovers warmed his heart and soul. This is where he belonged. Right here, in their arms.

"We will never let you go." Eric added, kissing away the tears. "We are your family."

"I love you," Speed whispered, his voice raw with emotion.

"And we love you." Horatio kissed the back of his neck.

"I need to feel you." Speed pulled his leg up, bending it at the knee, giving Horatio full access.

Horatio pulled the lube out from under the pillow. He slicked two fingers and pushed them into his lover. Speed groaned at the sudden intrusion, arching into the touch. Horatio crooked his fingers, finding that sweet spot and massaging it, making Speed purr in pleasure.

Just as Speed thought he could take no more, Eric once again took his leaking cock into his mouth. Speed whimpered at the duel sensation, wanting to thrust forward into Eric's warm mouth and back onto Horatio's fingers. He was caught between his lovers.

Horatio pulled his fingers out and quickly lubed himself up. Before Speed could moan at the loss, he was filled completely as Horatio thrust into him deep and hard. Speed moaned and pushed back, taking him in deeper. Horatio laid a hand on Speed's hip holding him still. His breath came in pants as he tried to get his body under control.

"H-" Speed whined. "Oh God-Eric-"

Horatio set an easy pace sliding in and out while Eric followed Horatio's thrust with his mouth, taking Speed down his throat then using his tongue to swirl along the head.

Speed was writhering in pleasure between them, sobbing with need and frustration wanting to come, but not wanting it to end. He lost all sense of presence, all he felt, smelled, and tasted was his two lovers.

Horatio reached down and released the cock ring. "Come."

Speed groaned and thrust into Eric's warm mouth screaming as he came hard and long. His muscles clamped down and around Horatio, sending him over the edge. He buried his face into Speed's sweat slicked shoulder as he pushed in and came.

Eric licked his lips and moved toward the headboard to untie Speed. He looked down at Speed. "He's out."

Horatio grinned as he pulled out gently. "How about you?"

Eric blushed. "I came just listening to you two."

Horatio grinned. "Can you get something to clean him up?"

Eric nodded and moved off the bed towards the bathroom to get a warm cloth. They cleaned Speed up and got him under the covers. Eric tossed the cloth back into the bathroom before climbing into the bed and curling around his lover. He looked over at Horatio giving him a sweet kiss. "It's not going to be this easy."

"No, but it's a start," Horatio said as he ran a hand down Eric's face. "We'll be there for him."

"My mom called." Eric looked down at Speed.

"Why didn't you tell us?" Horatio demanded.

"She wants to have dinner, just her and me," Eric said. "To talk."

"You should go," Speed yawned. "See what she has to say."

"You're supposed to be asleep," Horatio admonished.

"I would be if two people weren't yakking over me." He grinned up at them. "Thank you."

"Sleep." Horatio kissed him softly, he looked up at Eric. "You too."

~ Lab ~

"Did I stay how sorry I am." Calleigh put down a cup of tea in front of him.

"Yes," Speed grinned. "Five times."

"I'm sorry," she sighed.

"Don't worry about it," Speed smiled at her. "Now, about Christmas."

"You still want to do it?" she asked.

"Yes, but I'm not in the mood for subterfuge," he sighed. "Can we just tell them?"

"I agree," Calleigh nodded. "It's stupid and after last night."

"Speed." Eric leaned into the room. "You might want to come out to the lobby."

"Why?" Speed got up.

"Your parents are here," Eric sighed. "And Alexx is ready to kill them."

"Oh God and I'm missing it." Speed moved towards the lobby.

Calleigh looked at Eric. "I'll bring the popcorn."

By the time he reached the lobby, Horatio was standing between the Speedles and an irate Alexx. Speed walked up, laying a hand on Alexx's shoulder, giving her a soft smile.

"Hey honey." Alexx turned towards him.

"Alexx." Speed turned towards his parents. "I'm a bit surprised to see you."

"I see as always you got someone else to -" George sneered at his son.

"Don't even go there," Speed growled. "You already insulted me and Calleigh. I will not have you stand here and insult the only woman who has ever been a mother to me."

"She is not your mother!" Helen yelled.

"Honey, you threw him out, I claimed him, he's mine!" Alexx stepped towards them.

"Mr. and Mrs. Speedle I will not tolerate this in my lab. I suggest you just leave and if you have anything further to say to Detective Speedle, you can contact me." Horatio got between them and Alexx.

Calleigh passed Eric the popcorn. Eric looked at her. "You actually brought popcorn."

"What?" She grinned. "Alexx in mother mode, Horatio in protective lover mode, hell yeah I brought popcorn."

"H, Alexx-" Speed's voice was full of emotion. That these two people would fight for him.

"You're going to let them talk to us that way?" Helen demanded from her son.

Speed just eyed her. "What the hell do you want?"

"For once in your life to do something besides thinking of yourself." George turned on his son.

"That's it," Calleigh handed off the popcorn and moved towards Speed's parents.

Eric set it down on the reception counter and followed.

The receptionist picked up the popcorn she was thoroughly entertained.

"How dare you!" Alexx pushed past Horatio, who grabbed her quickly.

"Your brother's dying!" Helen yelled.

Everyone stopped and stared at her. "What?" Speed asked, shocked.

"He's got leukemia," Helen answered. "We didn't even know where you were until we saw the report about the shooting."

"So you came to Miami to get me?" Speed asked, still shocked. He felt Eric's hand on his lower back. He sought comfort in the touch.

"He's here in Miami," Helen looked down. "He was attending Miami University when he became sick. He trusts the doctors here. They already tested your blood, you're a match."

"How the hell do you know he's a match?" Alexx demanded.

"The doctor asked if the officer who had been brought in from the shooting was related," Helen explained. "Jonathan said he was, I had no idea."

"So you illegally seized his blood and had in analyzed?" Horatio demanded.

"Didn't want to see him unless he was a match," George shrugged.

The slap echoed through the lobby. Alexx glared at him. "Bastard."

"So after fifteen years you show up not to see me, but to save your precious perfect son." Speed's laugh was sarcastic and pain filled

"Are you so selfish that you would let him die?" George growled.

"I won't hold the fact our parents are assholes over him." Speed turned and walked away.

"Get out of my lab," Horatio growled. "Before I have you arrested for theft."

"She assaulted me." George glared at Alexx.

"Don't make me shoot you." Calleigh eyed him.

"And we're good at hiding bodies," Eric added.

Alexx glared. "Come near my son-"

"Let's go, Helen." George grabbed her hand and stormed off.

"Lt. Caine, I made sure to place their names and photos on the not authorized to be in the building list." The receptionist glared at the couple. "Next time they show up I'll call security."

"Thank you Tina," Horatio smiled at her.

"You're welcome, sir." She snacked on her popcorn.

~ Locker Room ~

"Speed?" Yelina walked up to the CSI. She was concerned to find him slumped against the wall.

He looked up and gave her half hearted smile. "Yelina."

"What's wrong?" She squatted down next to him. "Should I get Horatio and Eric?"

"Do me a favor." He stood up. "Tell Horatio about you and Calleigh. He won't care and he needs to know you support him about me and Eric."

"Tim?" Yelina stood up and looked at him.

"Family is important, and you hold onto the ones you've got." Speed kissed her on the cheek and walked out of the room.

Yelina stared after him, lost in thought.

~ Hospital ~

Speed stared down at his brother, the last time he had seen Jonathan, he was five. It was obvious they were brothers, they looked very similar. Speed grinned, must have pissed dad off no end.

Speed had already talked to the doctor. The doctor apologized for getting the blood sample analyzed, but he knew that if he waited for his parents to contact him, it would be too late for Jonathan. And as the doctor pointed out Jonathan's life was more important than their issues.

He had set up the surgery for the next day; the sooner Jonathan got the transfusion the better. He would talk with Horatio later on, about time off. The doctor was a bit concerned about Speed's shoulder wound, not wanting to slow down his own healing.

"Timothy?" Jonathan looked up at Speed.

"Hey." Speed smiled. "It's been a while."

"Fifteen or so years." Jonathan smiled. "Mom actually guilt tripped you into coming?"

"I'm here because you need me, not because of them," Speed informed him.

"You know I hated you for a long time," Jonathan sighed, his voice very tired.

"I can imagine what they said about me." Speed sat down in one of the chairs by the bed.

"They never talked about you; it was as if you didn't exist," he said. "I was pissed that you left me with them. They pushed me so hard to be the perfect all American son. You know play football, screw the cheerleaders, get good grades and go to college to become a lawyer or a doctor."

"Well if I'd known you would end up cool, I would have taken you with me." Speed grinned.

Jonathan laughed. "I asked Mr. Henderson..."

"He's still teaching?" Speed asked shocked.

"Retired last year." Jonathan smiled. "He always talked about you, how great a scientist you were. He told me all about Andrew and what happened. He is very proud of you, that you got your life together and moved to Miami and became a Crime Scene Investigator."

"I haven't talked to him in ten years." Speed was surprised. "I called him to tell him I graduated and was moving to Miami."

"He kept up with your career." Jonathan smiled. "He's got a scrapbook of your forensic stuff he's very proud of you."

Speed blushed. "I'll have to call him."

"He would love to hear from you," Jonathan nodded. "So once I graduated high school I came to Miami University, intending to find you."

"What happened?" Speed asked.

"I was afraid you wouldn't want to see me," Jonathan shrugged. "Then it just got easier not to find you."

"I'm here now." Speed reached out and took his hand.

"Do you think we could get to know each other?" Jonathan asked. "This illness really makes you put things into perspective."

"I would like that." Speed smiled at him. "Though you must know-"

"That you're gay, figured that out with the Andrew story." Jonathan smiled.

Speed laughed. "I'll introduce you to my new family once you start getting better."

"Cool." Jonathan closed his eyes falling asleep.

Speed wiped away a tear. He looked up when he heard a noise. Eric was standing at the door. Speed moved out of his chair into Eric's arms. Eric held him close.

~ Christmas Day ~

Speed looked over the small kitchen island and out into the living room. He was very happy that Horatio had opened his place up for Christmas dinner; his and Eric's place wouldn't have worked. Calleigh leaned up against the counter and grinned at him.

"I hate you," Speed groaned.

"Not my fault." Calleigh grinned.

"I'm cooking for-" he looked up and counted the people. "Fourteen people."

"Lucky Horatio has a big house." Yelina pulled Calleigh close to her. "And you're a great cook."

"That's one talent you got from dad, that I didn't." Jonathan smiled as he rested on the couch. The doctor had allowed him to attend the party on so many conditions it wasn't funny. No one at the party could be sick, the doctor checked each one personally. The house had to be spotless. Jonathan could not move from the couch, and Alexx assured the doctor she would watch Jonathon like a hawk.

The procedure had been successful; so far Jonathan's body was accepting the new bone marrow. He had a long way to go yet, but the doctor was hopeful.

"Lucky us." Eric grinned at Speed.

"I got the wrong Speedle," Trisha, Jonathan's girlfriend, said from next him.

"He's taken." Horatio smiled from across the room.

"Can I be in the room when you tell our parents that not only are you not marrying Calleigh, but you're seeing two guys?" Jonathan laughed. "Please."

"They aren't speaking to me." Speed shrugged. "I'm corrupting you, according to dad."

Jonathan rolled his eyes and then coughed lightly sending Alexx into mother mode. She had adopted the youngest Speedle the moment she laid eyes on him. "You warm enough?"

"I'm fine," Jonathan assured her.

She tucked him in and kissed him on the forehead. "Speed, honey, you need any help?"

"I'm fine." Speed shook his head.

"Are you sure?" Clorinda asked.

Speed smiled at her and Marisol. That was another surprise. It seemed that Marisol's own fight with cancer had opened the door for a reconciliation with Eric. Marisol refused to fight the cancer without her brother. The two had always been close despite their age difference. Clorinda was willing to talk, as was Eric. The rest of the family still refused to even acknowledge his presence, but as far as Eric was considered he didn't care; he had Marisol back in his life.

"Horatio never told me what happened." Speed looked over at Yelina. "I'm curious, how did you tell him?"

Yelina grinned. "I asked about his tattoo."

Speed's eyes widened. "You didn't?"

"She did." Horatio walked into the kitchen his arms slipping around Speed. "When I asked how she knew about it-"

"I mentioned it was a nice touch, with yours and Eric's." Yelina grinned.

Speed laughed.

"It wasn't funny." Horatio glared at his lover. "She then told me she knew about our relationship and had seen our gift to Calleigh and as I sat there in shock slipped in that she's seeing Calleigh."

"Yelina!" Speed laughed.

"What? The three of you are hot." She sipped her drink.

Eric looked at the two women, then back at his two lovers. "Wait? - Oh God!"

"That was Horatio's reaction," Yelina laughed.

"So when do we get a video?" Speed looked over at Calleigh.

"Maybe we can work something out." Calleigh grinned back.

"No." Yelina pulled Calleigh towards her.

"You two aren't allowed to conspire anymore," Horatio agreed, pulling Speed away from Calleigh, with Eric stepping in between them.

"You're no fun," the two whined.
