He'd never been someone who made friends easily. In fact it had always been very hard for him. It all went back to the child in the kindergarten, fascinated not by the purring cat or the yelping little dog but by the butterflies that were dancing always just out of his reach.

Turning his fascination into his job had helped him. Suddenly people listened to what he was saying, paid attention to his obsession about bugs.

Coming to Vegas had been his best decision ever. He sat in the lab's breakroom and with a feeling of deep satisfaction he gazed at his team.

No, not his team. He looked around and saw his friends.
