There he was. Nick Stokes was walking by his lab again, talking to Grissom about something. Greg held his Rolling Stones magazine up higher, to make it look like he was reading, but he peeked over the magazine to watch Nick to watch Nick go by.

He had had a crush on Nick since the first time he came to the lab. Then, when he and Nick started to get to know each other better and become friends, Greg fell in love with him. To Greg, Nick was amazing, but unreachable since the Texan was straight and was known as the 'Ladies Man' around the lab.

Since then, Greg had been watching Nick, spying on him. He was tempted many times to tell Nick that he loved him, but didn't want Nick to know, so he'd been spying on Nick, watching him every day.

At that moment, he realized that Nick was watching him, raising an eyebrow. Blushing, Greg quickly looked back at a page in his magazine, waiting until he thought it was safe to reveal his face. When he saw that Nick had walked off, Greg let out a sigh of relief.

He would have to be more careful about what he did next time.

Greg was in the break room an hour or so before shift was supposed to end. Nursing a cup of coffee, he continued to read the same magazine he had been reading earlier.

"Hey, G. Can I talk to you for a moment?" Nick asked as he walked into the break room. Greg felt his heart race a bit as he looked up and saw Nick sitting across from him. He nodded.

"Sure. What's up, Nick?" He asked, a smile coming to his face. Nick sighed and looked at Greg.

"You were staring at me today." He stated. Greg felt his smile fade fast and his heart and mind race.

"No, I wasn't." Greg quickly denied. Maybe if he denied it, then Nick would believe him and leave him alone.

"Yeah, you did. I saw you. Why were you staring at me?" He asked. Oh well, So much for Greg's theory. Greg smiled again and looked at Nick.

"You're interesting. What can I say?" He lied, smiling at Nick. Nick got a smirk on his face and stood up, walking over to Greg and leaning close to his ear.

"Be careful where you stare at me next time. People could get the wrong impression." He said softly and in a voice that made Greg's knees weak and his breath catch. Nick smiled and walked out of the break room. Greg watched him leave.

Maybe he wasn't so sly after all in his spying.
