He can't help but notice how Nick's been smiling all night, and it's not that he doesn't enjoy seeing Nick smile. He enjoys it even more than he'll ever admit, because the effect that Nick's smile has on him still scares him a little. It's not just him noticing it either, because a lot of people have been winking at him tonight. Like they think he's the reason Nick's smiling, and he's not sure what the reason behind the smile is, but he knows it's not because of him. He doesn't ask though, because he likes to think it is.

He checks his watch, wondering if Nick's going to be home late and whether he should light the candles now or wait a little longer. He glances around the room and he smirks when only one word comes to mind. Domestic. He never thought he'd ever use that word to describe himself, much less the two of them. He picks up the remote and turns on the cd player, soft piano music fills the room. Deciding to light the candles any way, he grabs the matches, lighting each candle carefully as he thinks about opening a bottle of wine. Domestic.

Nick chuckles softly, gently pushing Greg away as he tries to reach for his glass.

"Domestic?" He asks.

Greg nods, pretty much sitting in Nick's lap and moving only to allow Nick to grab his glass of wine. "Yeah," he sighs, waiting until Nick puts his glass down to wrap his arms around the other man's neck.

They stay silent for a while, but it's a comfortable silence and Greg thinks he could spend the rest of his life like this.

Nick finally breaks the silence, sliding his arms around Greg's waist to pull him closer. "I can do domestic."
