A/N: Warrick's a little sluty in this fic, but he'll work it out in the end.

Warrick sat on the couch, in his new apartment, drinking a beer and watching the game. He was relaxing and waiting for Nick to arrive. They were supposed to watch the game together. Warrick figured Nick stopped to pick up Greg and they got sidetracked. Those two got sidetracked a lot, but they sure did make a cute couple. Warrick didn't like thinking about couples at the moment, because of the direction his own love life had taken. Tina had asked for a divorce, stating that they were simply not compatible. She said his job didn't leave any time for her, and more than likely, she was right. Warrick knew his marriage had been a mistake, almost from the beginning.

Warrick wasn't in despair or anything, though. He still had some good prospects. Catherine was delighted when she found out he was getting a divorce. But, of course, she tried to hide it. He wasn't sure he wanted to go there. He was very attracted to her, but he didn't think they could make it work in the long run. There was Lindsay to consider, also. If they got together and it didn't work out, she might be upset. Warrick was very close to Lindsay and he didn't want anything to ruin that. He was trying to think of ways to let Cath down gently when the doorbell rang.

Warrick got up and went to let in Nicky and Greggo. He was surprised to find a third person with them. It was Jim.

"Hey, Rick. Hope you don't mind me tagging along. I ran into Nick yesterday and he invited me. I brought beer." Jim said with a warm smile.

"Perfect. The more the merrier. Come on in, guys and make yourselves comfortable. The game just started."

"Nice place you got here." Jim added.

"Thanks. You're late Nick."

"Yeah, I know. I stopped to pick up Jim and Greg. They'll be drinking and I'll be driving. We drew straws and I lost."

"That's ok, babe. You can drink all you want when we get back to my place." Greg said with a devious grin.

Warrick laughed at the pair of them. They were really good for each other. Even Jim thought so. He winked slyly at Warrick and nodded to the pair and shook his head.

"Very responsible of you guys. Sit down and crack open some beers. I'll get you a coke, Nick."

"Thanks a lot, man."

"Anytime, bro. Remember, you can drink all you want when you get back to Greg's." Warrick reminded him, with a shit eating grin. Nick tried not to blush, but failed miserably.

As the game got into full swing, the bull was flying, along with the popcorn, beer and pizza. It took Warrick's mind off his problems for awhile, and it got him thinking about other things. Jim was sitting next to him on the couch and every now and then their hands would brush together in the popcorn bowl. It sort of excited him when it happened. Warrick wasn't sure why. He and Jim had gotten to be pretty good friends. When Jim got shot, Warrick had spent a lot of time at the hospital and they had grown even closer. Now, with Jim sitting next to him, their thighs touching, it was turning him on. It really didn't freak Warrick out. He'd been attracted to men before, just not Jim. This was new and intriguing and he wondered if Jim had ever been attracted to him.

After the game was over, and the evening was coming to a close, Jim helped Warrick clean up the mess. He followed Rick into the kitchen, carrying snack bowls and beer bottles. They left Nick and Greg alone on the couch. They both knew some kissing would ensue as soon as they were out of sight. Jim was smirking and Warrick could tell that they were thinking the same thing. It was hard for Nick and Greg to keep their hands off each other, even in public. They never missed an opportunity to touch each other.

Jim and Warrick dumped their mess into the trash can and deposited the dirty bowls in the sink. Jim was standing relatively close to Warrick and it was making his temperature rise. Jim was smiling at him. He couldn't help but smile back. He could feel his attraction for Jim growing, but he wasn't sure what to do about it.

Jim finally broke the silence. "Thanks for letting me come over. I wasn't sure about crashing your party, but Nick said you wouldn't mind."

"No. I don't mind at all. I'm really glad you came. It saved me from an evening of watching Nick and Greg stare moony eyed at each other all night." Warrick laughed.

"That would've been horrible. I don't think I could've stood it either. I believe I'd of had to tell them to get a room."

"Yup, I've told them the same thing on many occasion and can you believe it, they always take my advice."

Both Jim and Warrick had a case of the giggles now. Warrick's head was slightly bent in Jim's direction and when they stopped laughing their lips were very close to each other. It was Jim who closed the gap between them and chastely brushed his lips against Warrick's. It was brief, but sweet and Warrick could still feel the heat of it, even after Jim had pulled back.

Jim looked remorseful, like he hadn't meant to do that. He tried to backpedal a little. "I'm sorry about that, Rick. I don't know what came over me. I guess I've been hanging around with Nick and Greg too much. Don't be mad."

"Ah… I'm not mad. I kind of liked it. Does this mean that I've been hanging around Nick and Greg too much, too?" Then Warrick smiled at Jim and winked.

Jim laughed. "Damn. This is crazy, but it was really nice. I think I'd like to explore this some more -- if you'd like to, too? Would you like to go out with me?"

"I think I'd like that a lot, Jim. When's your next day off?"

"I don't get another one until next Thursday. When's yours?"

"Wednesday, but maybe Nick would switch with me. I'll ask him, Ok?"

"Ok. That'd be great. If it works out, how'd you like to take a drive out to the lake?"

"Sounds great. Let's go ask Nick, right now."

"He'd better say yes. I 'd hate to have to handcuff him and Greg in separate rooms."

"That'd kill them. You know, they can't stand to be apart for more than a second."

"I know. That's my point."

" Damn! You can be so evil."

They returned to the living room, to find Greg sitting across Nick's lap, with Nick massaging the back of his neck.

"Hey, break it up." Warrick yelled.

"Yeah, or get a room." Jim added. Both of them were grinning.

"Ok, were going. You ready Jim."

"I guess so."

"Nick, I need a favor? Can you switch your day off with me? I need Thursday off."

"Sure. Is something wrong?"

"No, man. I just got something to do. Thanks."

"No problem."

The next night at the lab, Warrick was thinking about his impending date with Jim. He was wondering if it was really a good idea to get involved with a co-worker. However, every time he saw Jim that night, his heart beat a little bit faster. He knew he had to take a chance, because if he didn't he'd never get Brass out of his system. He wanted him too badly and if he could find out what it was like to be with him, maybe then he could move on.

Warrick was brought out of his musings by a hand on his shoulder. "Penny for your thoughts? You looked a million miles away."

"Hey, Gris. Sorry… I was kind of thinking about something else."

"That's ok. I'm sure you've got a lot on your mind. How are things going with Tina?"

"Not good. She's going through with the divorce and I really can't say I blame her. This marriage was a big mistake -- right from the beginning, It'll be better once we can put it behind us and get on with our lives."

"Well, you know, I wish you only the best. I wanted to ask you if you'd like to have breakfast with me? I thought maybe we could talk a little. It's been a while since we've been to the diner together… unless you have other plans?"

"Um… sure. That sounds great. We haven't spent much time together recently… Have we?"

"No. Not nearly enough." Gil said with a smirk. His voice was kind of smoky and his eyes were almost cobalt. Warrick felt the heat rise when he looked into Gil's eyes, but he chalked it up to Gil just being concerned for him.

At breakfast, Gil and Warrick talked about lots of thing, but mainly his marriage and why he'd gotten married in the first place. It was exactly what Gil had suspected all along. Warrick had been afraid after Nick's kidnapping and he had panicked. He leaped before he had looked at the situation objectively. Gil never thought the marriage would last. He'd known Warrick long enough to tell that he simply wasn't in love with Tina. Now, that it was over, Gil decided to take the opportunity and let his feelings be known. He'd carried a torch for Rick for several years, but he'd never had the courage to express it.

"Rick, I was wondering if maybe we could go out sometime? I mean… if you're not seeing someone already."

Warrick sat opened mouth for a moment. He couldn't believe it. Gil Grissom had just asked him out! He finally found his voice, after a few seconds pause. "Um… are you asking me out on a date?"

"Well, ah… yes. I guess I am. You don't have to say yes. If you don't want to… I'll understand." But Gil looked like a lost puppy and Warrick didn't have the heart to say no.

"Sure, Gil. That'd be great. Maybe we could go out to dinner."

"Really?" Gil asked with the sheer excitement of a child.

"Yeah. It'll be fun, but I can't do it this week. I got some stuff to take care of. It's gonna be pretty busy. So, how about next week on my day off? I've actually got next Friday night off. We could do it then?"

"Perfect. I'm supposed to work next Friday, but I'll switch it around. I'll make Sara work in my place. After all, I'm the boss. I can get away with it."

"That's why they pay you the big bucks." Warrick laughed and Gil laughed right along with him.

******

The drive home was too surreal. What had Warrick gotten himself into? He had a date with Jim on Thursday and a date with Gil next week. What the hell? How did he get himself into this mess? He wasn't sure what to do now, but he really wanted to go on both dates. He'd had an immediate attraction for Gil the first time they'd met. He never, in his life, imagined that the feeling might actually be mutual. On the other hand, he'd taken an instant dislike to Brass and their relationship had always been rocky -- up until the last couple of years. Now, he had a fire burning in his gut, and it was definitely burning for Jim. This was a nightmare. What else could possibly happen?

******

Wednesday afternoon rolled around and Warrick was getting anxious. Tomorrow was his big date with Jim. They had finalized their plans to go to the lake. There was a little, very nice, out of the way hotel. It had a lovely bar and restaurant, and Jim had booked overnight reservations for the two of them. Jim, had considerately, asked Warrick if he wanted him to book separate rooms, but Warrick had told him no. He definitely did not want separate rooms. He wanted Jim to take him and take him hard. It's all he could think about. He had to know once and for all if reality could live up to his fantasies.

Warrick was in his bedroom getting dressed, when his phone rang. He still had several hours before he had to go to work and he hoped they weren't calling him in early. He hadn't eaten yet and he was starved.

"Warrick Brown."

"Hey, Warrick. It's Catherine."

"What up, Cath?"

"Well, I was wondering if you'd had dinner yet? I'm cooking tonight… Chicken Parmesan. Would you like to come over? I thought, maybe, you'd like a home cooked meal. It'll be just you, me and Lindsay. Mom's out of town."

"Ah… well, are you sure? I don't want you to go to any trouble."

"It's no trouble at all. I've made plenty and Lindsay's looking forward to it. She really likes you. Come on. It'll be fun."

"Ok. What time?"

"How's seven thirty?"

"Great. I'll be there. See you in a little while."

"Wonderful! I'll see you at seven thirty."

Well now, dinner at Cath's. This was just too much of a coincidence. He knew Catherine was trying to be subtle and make it out to be Lindsay's idea, but Warrick knew the truth. Since his separation from Tina, Catherine had been falling all over him. It was flattering and he did find her attractive. He'd wondered several times what she'd be like in bed. He figured she'd be pretty wild, and the thought of taming her was intriguing, to say the least. All sorts of images were running through his head, at the moment and they were all equally hot. Hard and fast sex with Jim, Sweet and tender sex with Gil, or wild and crazy sex with an alley cat. Too many choices. What's a poor boy to do?

Dinner at Catherine's

Warrick arrived at Catherine's right on time. She answered the door in a tight red dress that showed every curve she had. Warrick's eyes almost bugged out of his head. She was smiling and batting those blue eyes at him. He looked around, desperately trying to find Lindsay, but she was no where in sight.

"Um… Cath, where's Lindsay?"

"Oh, Sorry. Stacy's mom picked her up early. They were all going out to dinner and Stacy wanted Lindsay to go."

"Stacy?"

"Yes. You know, Lindsay stays overnight at Stacy's house when mom's not here."

"Oh, right. I forgot. So, it's just you and me?" Warrick asked nervously.

"Uh huh." Catherine drawled. "Hope you don't mind."

"Well… ah… no, that's um… fine."

"Good. Make yourself comfortable. What would you like to drink. I'd open some wine, but we're both working tonight."

"That's ok. How about some tea?"

" Tea, coming right up." She said as she sashayed, hips swinging, into the kitchen.

Warrick took a deep breath and a big gulp, before throwing himself down into a chair. He was chastising himself for coming here. He should've know it was too good to be true. But damn, she did look good in that red dress, and now he was wondering what she'd look like out of it. 'Bad Warrick, bad, bad!'

Catherine returned with his tea, announcing that dinner was served. They headed into the dining room, where Catherine catered to Warrick hand and foot. She was the perfect hostess. Unfortunately, she wasn't that great a cook. The chicken was overcooked. The pasta was undercooked and the garlic bread was burnt to a crisp. But she did try and Warrick appreciated the thought and complimented her on it, even though neither of them touched the blackened garlic bread.

After dinner and the dishes were cleared, Catherine ushered Warrick back into the living room. She put on some soft music and then excused herself to go freshen up a bit. As Warrick sat there waiting for her to return, he sprayed a shot of breath freshener into his mouth. He wasn't quite sure why he did that. He could see that Catherine was definitely on the make. She'd been jiggling her chest in front of him all evening. And the dress was low-cut enough that he'd gotten quite an eyeful. She was like a cat on the prowl and Warrick felt like the prey, but he hadn't had sex since Tina had thrown him out. His cock felt like it was about burst out of his pants, and with good reason, when Catherine returned she wasn't wearing the red dress. She wasn't wearing anything but her high heels and a smile.

Warrick almost fell out of the chair. He gasped, stuttered and stammered, "Cath… wh… what are you doing?"

She sauntered over to him and straddled his lap, running her hands over his clothed chest. "What does it look like I'm doing? Come on, Warrick. We've been going round and round with each other for years now. Don't you think it's time we did something about this. I personally, want to know what it's like to be with the hottest man I've ever laid eyes on. I know you're attracted to me. You can't deny it. So don't even try."

She leaned in and nibbled his earlobe, blowing hot breath into his ear. He bucked upward, bringing his erection in contact with her naked groin.

"Oh, yeah. You want it, don't you, Warrick?"

She began unbuttoning his shirt and he finally began to think again. What the hell was happening here? "Catherine, I don't think we should do this."

"Don't think, baby. Just feel! I promise I'll make all your fantasies come true." Just then she ran her hand inside Warrick's half unbuttoned shirt and raked a nail over his left nipple. He let out a groan and grabbed Catherine around the waist. Before she even knew what was happening, he had her pinned to the floor. There lips met and Warrick shoved his tongue inside her mouth. She gave as good as she got. By this time she had wrapped her legs around his waist and her hand was trying to unbutton the rest of his shirt. He decided to give her a little help, sitting up and unwrapping her legs, he straddled her waist. He unbuttoned the rest of his shirt, pulled it off and threw it to the side. In the meantime, Catherine had been working on his pants. She'd gotten the clasp open and the zipper down. With one swift motion of her hand, she reached in and freed the monster form its prison. It sprang up like it had a life of its own. She wrapped her hand around it, loving the hot velvety feel. It throbbed in her hand and she moaned, "Oh, God! You're so hard. You're so hot."

As she slid her hand up and down Warrick's length, he moaned and then moved to the side. He pulled his pants and briefs off quickly and then threw himself back on top of Catherine, attacking her mouth with a vengeance. He had to grab her hands and hold them above her head to keep her from raking her nails down his back, He didn't want her to leave any marks. They'd be difficult to explain. His brain was still functioning at some level, because he was thinking about his date with Jim tomorrow night. So when she latched onto his neck he hastily pulled back and went down between her legs. Somewhere in all the craziness she kicked off her high heels and they went flying in opposite directions.

He licked up and down both of her inner thighs, drawing more moans of pleasure from her. He spread her lips wide and jammed his tongue inside her, using it like a dagger to stab in and out of her. She was writhing, moaning and bucking up off the floor, trying to pull as much of Warrick's tongue inside her as she could. When he began swirling his tongue in a circular motion, alternating between little stabs and sweeping circles, she grabbed hold of his hair tightly and screamed his name. Her orgasm washed over her in spasms of tiny shock waves. She was so loud the whole neighborhood could have heard her. When the spasms subsided, Warrick pulled her forward and positioned himself between her legs. Catherine was still high from her orgasm, but coherent enough to stammer out, "condom." He turned briefly and grabbed his pants, pulling out his wallet and the condom he had stashed there for emergencies. With shaking hands he ripped open the package and rolled the condom on to his leaking cock. Then he repositioned himself and plunged in with one long stroke. She was hot and wet. Their sweat slick bodies slid together in an ever growing frenzy. She had wrapped her legs around him once again, pulling him in deeper and deeper with every thrust. It was reaching a fevered pitch, and Warrick knew he wouldn't last much longer. Catherine was gasping, panting and groaning. With his monster buried deep inside and his ever quickening thrusts, there was no doubt, she was going to come again. And come she did. Even louder than the first time. Her scream sent Warrick over the edge and he came in a dizzying whirlwind.

He somehow managed to keep his weight off her. He pushed off with his hands and rolled to her side, still gasping for breath. It was awhile before he could think clearly again, and when he ventured a look at Catherine, she was propped up on her elbow, smiling at him like she'd just won the grand prize.

He thought, 'Oh shit. What have I done?' He didn't say it though. She was still smiling and running her hand lightly over his chest. He was just staring at the ceiling and wondering how he was gonna get himself out of this mess. The sex had been great though, but it was still missing something. He didn't know what that something was. He couldn't quite put his finger on it, but it definitely lacked something.

Catherine rolled a little closer and purred in his ear, "See, I told you I'd make all your fantasies come true. That was so incredible. You really are a God. I can't imagine why we didn't do this sooner, but better late than never, huh?"

"Uh, yeah. It was amazing. Really amazing, but I'm not so sure we should have done it. It might complicate things. I mean… we've got to maintain a working relationship. I don't think this was such a good idea."

"Relax, Warrick. I'm not asking for a marriage proposal. I know you're not ready for another commitment. And, well, neither am I. I just thought we should find out what it would be like, and you have to admit it was pretty explosive."

"It was that." Warrick replied with a grin.

Catherine laughed and got up off the floor. She headed in the direction of the bedroom, stating that she'd be right back.

Warrick let out a long sigh and started pulling on his clothes. He needed to get back home and grab a shower, before he went into work. This night turned out to be a whole lot more than he'd expected. Not necessarily bad, either. He was sated for the moment and Catherine seemed to enjoy it. So, maybe there was a bright side after all.

When Catherine returned, she was wearing a robe. Her hair was still mussed and she looked thoroughly fucked, but Warrick supposed he looked the same way. She walked over to him and gave him a big hug and fairly tame kiss. She winked at him and said, "Thank you. This was the most incredible night I've had in a long time. If you want to do it again sometime, just say the word. But don't worry. There's no strings attached… just two friends having one hell of a good time. And if you don't, that's ok too. It was worth it, in spades. This night will keep me going for a very long time."

"Thanks, Cath and thanks again for dinner. I had a wonderful time. I really did. I'm just not sure about doing it again. I wouldn't want to ruin our friendship, ever! You mean a lot to me. You and Lindsay. So, maybe we should just leave it at friends and consider this a one time thing. I'd never want to hurt you, and right now I'm not sure what I feel. I'm really confused. I've been sort of attracted to someone for awhile now, but I've never acted on it."

"Well, Warrick -- if you're serious about this person, then do something about it. It's not good to bottle it all up, and if it works out for you, then I'll be very happy. As long as you're truly happy and in love… I can live with it. So, my advice is to go for it and see what happens."

"Thanks. I appreciate that and I'll never forget this night."

"I know you won't." She said with a grin. She reached up and gave him a kiss on the cheek and with that he was out the door.

As he drove home, he breathed a huge sigh of relief. He loved Catherine, but he knew now that he wasn't in love with her. It had been great but the thing that was missing was the being in love part. The next time he got involved he wanted to be hopelessly in love with that person and not just in it for the sake of not being alone. He vowed that he wasn't going to repeat the mistake he'd made with Tina. He was still mulling it over when his cell phone rang. He'd just pulled into his driveway and parked.

"Warrick Brown."

"Hey, Rick. It's Jim."

"Hey, Jim? What's up. Is everything ok? You sound a little upset."

"Everything's ok… but I hate to do this. I've got to cancel our date tomorrow. The Sheriff needs me to go to a stupid convention in Denver. He just told me about it today. Apparently, he's already booked me a flight. I've gotta fly out in the morning. I'm sorry. I was really looking forward to it. I cancelled our reservations at the hotel and told them I'd rebook as soon as I got back, that is, if you still want too. I wouldn't blame you if you didn't. I know this is short notice."

"Jim, it's not your fault. You can't control the sheriff or his whims, and I'd still love to go. I've been looking forward to it too."

"God, I'm so relieved. When's your next night off?"

"Um… ah… Friday, but I don't think I can't make it Friday."

"That's too bad. It'd be perfect. We could spend all Saturday together. Maybe, then, the following week?"

"Wait a minute, Jim. Friday will be great. I can take care of the stuff I need to do earlier and then maybe we could go to the hotel around eight o'clock on Friday. How would that be?"

"Are you sure? I don't want you to change your plans on my account."

"It's not a problem. I can do everything early. So, are we on for Friday night?"

"Definitely!" I'll see you when I get back."

"Great and have a safe trip."

"Thanks. Talk to ya soon."

"Bye, Jim."

When Warrick hung up, he felt dizzy. Somehow he'd managed to get himself two dates on Friday. One with Gil and now… one with Jim. Just great! He was digging his hole deeper and deeper. He wasn't even going to think about the whole thing with Catherine. He had too many other problems and his divorce wasn't even final yet. Now, he'd have to get Gil to agree to go out with him earlier. Maybe lunch and an early movie. Oh well, he'd think of something, somehow, someway. Too many choices. What's a poor boy to do?"

Dinner at Catherine's

Warrick arrived at Catherine's right on time. She answered the door in a tight red dress that showed every curve she had. Warrick's eyes almost bugged out of his head.

Lunch with Gil

Warrick found Gil that night at work and when he got a moment alone with him he broke the news.

"Hey Gil, I hate to do this, but I was wondering if we could have are date earlier on Friday. Ah… something came up and I can't get out of it. I gotta be somewhere Friday night at eight. So, I was thinking that you and I could go to lunch and maybe the early movie? I still want to go -- if you do?"

"Of course. That's not a problem. I'm sorry we won't be able to spend the whole evening together, but I still want to go. If you wouldn't mind, maybe we could skip the movie and go back to my place. I'd like to spend sometime with you alone. If that's ok with you?"

"That'd be great. How about I pick you up around two o'clock? That will give us both time to sleep."

"Perfect. I'll be ready."

"Wonderful." Warrick said, but deep down he still felt guilty for cutting his evening with Gil short. He just couldn't get Jim out of his mind, though. He had to know what it would be like to have sex with him and the consequences be damned!

******

When Friday finally arrived, Warrick was finding it difficult to sleep. There was just too much going on in his head. He finally gave up and started getting ready for his date with Gil.

Two o'clock found Warrick standing on Gil's doorstep, looking decidedly nervous and twitchy.

Gil opened the door and let his nervous looking date in. Gil didn't quite understand why Warrick looked so nervous. This date had been a long time coming. Gil had been attracted to Warrick from the first time they'd met, and he hoped the feeling was mutual.

"Warrick, you look great."

"Thanks, Gil. So do you. Are you ready to go to lunch?"

"I'm ready. Let's go."

Warrick and Gil went to a quaint little restaurant for lunch. Warrick seemed a bit distracted through the whole thing. Gil knew something was wrong, but he couldn't quite figure out what it was. So finally, Gil decided to ask.

"Is everything alright, Warrick? You seem somewhat out of sorts."

"I'm fine, Gil. I just didn't sleep very well last night."

"I'm sorry. Would you rather just drop me off at home? You don't have to come up if you're tired."

"No, no. I'm fine. I'd really like to come up. We've got plenty of time."

"Well… if you're sure?"

"I am. I'd really like to spend some time alone with you. I have a confession to make. I've been attracted to you for a long time, Gil. Since we met, but I never imagine you felt the same way. It's kind of taken me by surprise."

"I'm sorry about that. It's just… well.. I'm not good at expressing my feelings and I've never been much for dating a coworker. I've always thought it would complicate matters, but I'm willing to take a chance with you."

Warrick smiled, but deep down he really felt guilty. He cared for Gil and would never want to hurt him, but he thought, that was exactly what was going to happen. His obsession with Brass was always in the forefront of his mind, and it was crowding out everything else. He hoped after tonight's date with Jim, he'd finally be able to make a coherent decision.

After lunch, Warrick took Gil home, and as promised he went up to spend some quality time with Gil. Warrick wasn't sure how far he wanted to take this, but he didn't want to disappoint Gil either.

They settled in on the sofa after Gil made them some iced tea. Gil sat close to Warrick. After some casual conversation, Gil slid his hand down Warrick thigh. His eyes were glazed and Warrick had never seen Gil look sexier.

Warrick put his arms around Gil and pulled him close for a slow, sensual kiss. It was wet and hot. Gil relaxed into it, and Warrick slowly pushed Gil back onto the sofa. His long, lean body spread out across Gil's and they started a gentle rocking motion. It was passionate and sweet. Warrick sat up, straddling his hips and undid Gil's belt. He popped open the button and slid down the zipper. He gently extricated Gil's hard cock and pumped it in his fist.

Gil moaned and bucked up into Warrick's hand. The sound was delicious and Warrick's own member was throbbing inside his pants.

Gil followed Warrick's example and undid Warrick's pants. He pulled Warrick's cock free and mimicked the pumping motion. "Ah… that's good." Warrick moaned.

He leaned down and kissed Gil again, exploring his mouth with his tongue. He moved from Gil's mouth, to his earlobe, gently sucking it between his teeth. He ran his hand down Gil's chest, undoing the buttons on his shirt as he went. Warrick sat back up and pulled his own shirt over his head. Gil ran both hands up Warrick's chest, grazing his thumbs across his nipples.

Warrick gasped and leaned back in for a kiss. It was a slow torture. They kissed and rutted together for what seemed like an eternity. Gil was breathless and babbling nonsense in Warrick's ear. When Warrick finally took Gil's cock into his mouth, Gil was beyond words. He moaned and arched into Warrick's hot mouth. Warrick knew it wouldn't take long to bring Gil off. A few good long hard sucks and the gentle pressure of a finger close to Gil's hole, had him shooting down Warrick's throat in no time.

When Gil recovered, he returned the favor. He pushed Warrick back onto the sofa and did a slow lick from neck to cock. Warrick was more than ready himself. So, when Gil sucked his cock all the way to the back of his throat and rolled his balls in his hand, Warrick began to tingle from head to toe. It was amazing, and Gil was picking up speed. He ran his thumb down the underside of Warrick's thick vein and took Warrick in all the way to the root. Warrick arched and came in a one long hard wave of pleasure and Gil milked him for every drop.

Gil collapsed beside Warrick on the sofa. Both were still panting and enjoying the after glow. Warrick had his arms wrapped around Gil, as he rested his head on Warrick's chest.

Gil broke the silence first. "That was wonderful. It was everything a first time should be. I'm grateful, Warrick. Thank you."

"No, Gil. Thank you. It was beautiful and you're beautiful. I've never really been loved like that before… with such gentleness and caring. It was amazing."

"Thank you for the compliment, but I really wish you'd tell me what's bothering you. I know something is. I've known you too long, not to sense when something's wrong. Is it someone else? Are you still in love with Tina?"

"No, Gil. I'm not in love with Tina. I was never in love with her. I care about you, Gil. I care about you a lot."

"But you're not in love with me, are you?"

"I don't know. I'm just confused right now."

"Warrick, if you don't know, then you're not. I've suspected for a long time now, that you're in love with someone else. All the signs have been there."

"I'm not sure what you mean, Gil. I'm not in a relationship with anyone. Not since Tina."

"You don't have to be in a relationship to be in love. Take me as a perfect example. I've been in love with you for years and we've never been in a relationship."

"You're in love with me?"

"Yes, Warrick. But it has to work both ways. I can't be in love by myself."

"Gil… I do… love you."

"I believe you, but I don't think you're in love with me. I think you're in love with Jim Brass."

"Damn! This is crazy, Gil. I mean… I'm so… how'd you know that?" Warrick asked stunned.

Gil chuckled, "I'm a CSI. It's what I get paid to do."

"But Jim and I have never been together."

"I've seen the way he looks at you. It's gotten worse since the shooting. I've also seen the way you look at him. You dance around it, but the want and longing is reflected in your eyes."

"God! I never realized it was that obvious."

"It's not. Only those who really know you would notice, like Nick and I."

"You think Nick's noticed?"

"Yes. I've seen him watching you and Jim. Believe me, he knows."

"Well… hell! This is just great. I feel like an idiot. Everybody knows what I want, except me. What am I supposed to do now?"

"Easy, Warrick. It's going to work out. You'll see. If it's really Jim you want, then don't hesitate. Life is too short. You've got to grab what happiness you can. Jim's shooting taught me that. That's why I had to take a chance and see if we could make it work."

"Gil, you mean a lot to me. I would never do anything to hurt you. I'm not even sure about Jim and me. It might be just a passing obsession. What if he and I got together and it didn't work out? I'd feel so bad about throwing away my chance with you, because I really do love you."

"And I love you, but you can't live for what might've been. So, I'll make a deal with you. If you and Jim give it a shot and it doesn't work out… then you and I can try."

"Are you serious?"

"Very! I want you to be happy."

"Damn it! I want you to be happy too. I hate to see you alone all the time. I want you to be with someone who loves you more than anything in the world. You deserve that kind of happiness. What if Jim and I do make it work? What about you?"

"I'll adjust. I've been on my own for a long time and I'll get over it. Jim has been alone for a long time too, and he deserves to be happy as well."

"Fuck! You're being to damn selfless. I just don't want to walk away from you. I don't know if I could survive the loss."

"Warrick, just see how it goes with Jim. I promise, I'll be here for you and I'll always be you're friend. Nothing will ever change that. You'll always be my favorite." Gil said with a smile.

"Ok, but I'm not writing us off. I'll try and figure out what it is I want. It's really good to know you'll still be here when I do."

"Always."

"Thanks, Gil."

Warrick got himself together and kissed Gil goodbye. He still felt bad, because a part of him wanted to stay with Gil. He cared so much for the man, that it made his heart ache, but he had to know. He just had to find out what his true feelings for Jim were. He'd never be able to let them go until he did. It was just one of those burning questions that had to be answered. Warrick thought about a lot of things on the drive back to his place. Images of, Gil and Jim fought in his head, until he felt completely overwhelmed by the situation. He had one hour left to shower, change and get to the lake. And then what? Warrick didn't know, but he was determined to find out. Too many choice. What's a poor boy to do?

Warrick managed to make it to the hotel with a few minutes to spare. The valet took his keys and parked his car, as Warrick entered the hotel. Jim was waiting for him in the lobby. Warrick smiled when he saw him. 'This is it.' Warrick thought. 'The big event.' Everything had led up to this moment. Tonight would tell the story, one way or the other.

"Hey, Rick. I'm so glad you're here. I'm sorry I had to cancel, but I promise I'll make it up to you tonight."

"That's ok, Jim. I've been looking forward to this all week."

"Yeah, me too. Let's go up to the room and drop off your bag. Then we'll go to dinner."

"Sounds great. What room are we in?" Warrick inquired.

"Room two twelve. Let's head up and get settled."

They took the elevator up to the second floor and deposited Warrick's bag in the room. Warrick couldn't help but notice the king size bed. Jim saw Warrick looking at it and he gave Warrick a slight smirk. Warrick smirked back at him. Oh yeah, a king size bed was just what he wanted. Win or lose, there was no turning back now.

They left the room and headed down to the dining room. Jim had a table waiting for them. So, they were seated immediately. The wine, the dinner, the conversation was all sublime. Jim was his usual witty self and quite a flirt. Jim was outdoing himself in the innuendo department, and Warrick was going right along with every word Jim said.

"Rick, this has been great. I never really thought that when I asked you out, you'd actually say yes."

"Why not?" Warrick asked surprised.

"Oh… I don't know. I just never thought you'd be interested in someone like me. First of all, I'm a guy and secondly, I'm not exactly Mr. America."

"That's ridiculous, Jim. I happen to think you're very good looking, and as for being a guy, well… I'm bi."

"Really? You could've fooled me. I never would have known if you hadn't said yes to my invitation. You hide it well."

"It's not that I'm trying to hide it. It's just that I haven't met a man that I've seriously wanted to date in a long time."

"Hopefully that's about to change. I'm very serious, Rick. I've wanted you for a long time and I want you bad."

"I think I want the same. Ever since, you got shot, I've been thinking about you constantly. I'm not sure what I would've done if you had died. I hate even thinking about it. I just can't get you out of my mind and I don't want to fight it anymore."

"Me either, Rick. Me either." Jim replied with a grin on his face and a twinkle in his eye.

Warrick knew what that look meant. Things were gonna get hot tonight!

After dinner, Warrick and Jim took a walk out by the lake. The stars were shining and the moon was full. It was a perfect night for romance. As they came to a particularly deserted area they stopped to admire the view. Jim looked into Warrick's eyes and time seemed to stop. Jim pulled Warrick close to him and kissed him with a passion that could not be denied. It made Warrick's toes curl and left him breathless. When they finally broke apart, Jim smiled and nodded toward the hotel. "I think we should take this back to our room."

"Absolutely." Warrick readily agreed.

When they arrived back at the room, Jim didn't waste any time. He pulled Rick close and shoved his tongue in his mouth. Warrick didn't hold back either. He was so hot for Jim, he thought he might explode. Jim unbuttoned Rick's shirt slowly, never breaking off the kiss, and ran his hands down Rick's chest. Warrick gasped when Jim stopped to tug on both nipples. Jim pulled away and smiled at him. Jim took a step backwards and unbuttoned his own shirt, while Warrick watched in wide-eyed fascination. He watched as Jim shrugged out of the shirt, his hands now moving to his belt. It was a slow striptease that had Warrick panting for breath. His eyes dilated as Jim stepped out of his slacks. He was entranced by the prominent budge that jutted out from Jim's briefs.

Jim moved closer to Warrick and gently pushed the shirt off his shoulders. He unbuckled his belt and unsnapped his pants. Warrick was gasping for air as Jim leaned in and ran his tongue down the side of his throat. He pushed Warrick's pants down around his ankles, and held him steady around the waist as he stepped out of them.

Once out of his pants, Jim grabbed hold of Warrick's ass cheeks and pulled their erections into contact. The sensation through their underwear was amazing. They danced their way over to the bed and fell on it simultaneously, with Jim landing on top. He ground his erection into Warrick's, causing both men to moan.

More kissing ensued, hot and passionate. Jim explored every inch of Warrick's body, savoring each and every noise he pulled from Warrick. He saved the best for last. Jim circled Rick's entrance with his tongue, laving it lovingly. Warrick was writhing off the bed, but Jim had a firm grip on him. When he finally shoved his tongue all the way in, Warrick was seeing stars. He speared Warrick over and over again with his tongue, reducing Warrick to a writhing, moaning mass of jello.

Jim sat up, very pleased with his handy work. Warrick whimpered at the loss of Jim's tongue. He was so ready. He wanted to feel Jim's pulsing cock inside him. He grabbed Jim and pulled him down, ravishing his mouth and running his hands up and down Jim's ass. Jim whispered, low and seductive, "I want you, Rick. I want to fuck you. I want to pound you into the mattress. I want to claim your ass and make it beg for more."

"Oh, God. Jim, please, please. I can't wait. I want you to fuck me."

Jim kissed Warrick hard and reached for the lube on the nightstand. He squeezed out a generous amount and slicked two fingers. He inserted one finger and hooked it until he found Warrick's center of pleasure. Warrick gasped for air and moaned a string of delicious obscenities.

Jim was harder than he'd ever been. He was having trouble being patient. He wanted nothing more than to plunge in and take Warrick hard and fast. Jim somehow managed to show restraint and he pushed in with a second finger. He stretched Warrick, scissoring his fingers until there was plenty of room for three. By this time, Warrick had had enough. He reached underneath him and pulled Jim's fingers out. "Now, Jim! Now!

Jim grabbed a pillow off the right side of the bed. He placed it under Warrick's ass and then arranged his legs over his shoulders. Jim went slow, lining up and just inserting the tip of his cock. However, Warrick had other ideas. He grabbed Jim around the waist and pulled until Jim was completely sheathed inside him. It was a fast descent into hot molten lava. Jim almost came, right then and there.

Warrick moaned, "fuck me hard, Jim! Fuck me!"

Jim obliged. He pulled almost all the way out and slammed back in fast. It was breathtaking and Warrick's ass seemed to be pleading for more, pulling him in deeper and deeper with every thrust. Jim's pace grew impossibly quicker and Warrick was matching him thrust for thrust. Jim grabbed onto Warrick's cock and stroked it, never losing momentum. He pounded into Warrick's ass, angling so he hit his prostrate with each thrust. Warrick was screaming Jim's name and begging for more. "Harder! Faster! Oh, God! Yes!"

Warrick's cock erupted like a geyser, shooting come onto Jim's chest, some even hitting the ceiling. Warrick's ass grabbed Jim's cock in a vice like grip and stroked it to orgasm. Jim howled and released his seed deep inside Warrick. He collapsed on top of his lover in an exhausted heap. Warrick wrapped his arms around him and kissed the side of his cheek.

When Jim finally had the ability to lift his head off Warrick's chest, he found the younger man grinning at him like a fool. Jim grinned back. "I take it you liked that, huh?"

"That's quite the understatement. Do you have any idea how long I've wanted you to fuck me?"

"Um… no, but I wish I had."

"Honestly, Jim… I never thought you would. I never thought in my wildest dreams that you'd ever want me."

"Are you nuts? Who wouldn't want you? You're the most gorgeous thing on the face of the earth, and believe me, I've wanted you for years."

"Wow, I wish I'd known. It would've saved a lot of heartache. It would've have saved me from a fucked up marriage that I didn't want in the first place."

"Well… now you know! So, what do we do about it? I can't just walk away and pretend it never happened, and I can't go back to just being your friend. It won't work for me anymore. I love you, Rick."

Warrick sighed and thought a minute before he responded. Tonight was everything he'd imagined it would be and more. The feel of Jim inside him was the most wonderful feeling he'd ever experienced. He knew he could never give it up. This was it… true love!

Warrick wrapped his arms around Jim and pulled him close. He nuzzled his neck and whispered sweetly in his ear. "I love you too, Jim. I always have."

Jim let out the breath he'd been holding. He never expected Warrick to love him back, but he knew it was true the moment Warrick uttered those words. He could feel the love vibrate throughout his whole body and sink deep into his soul. The warmth that surrounded him was palpable. Nothing would ever compare to this moment… not if he lived a thousand years.

The rest of the night and well into the next day was spent in bed. When they got hungry they ordered room service and never once ventured out of their room. Jim would never tire of the exquisite feel of sinking deep inside his lover's body. Warrick never seemed to tire of it either. The man was insatiable. Jim hated to go back to work. The whole weekend had been prefect. He couldn't bear to be separated from Warrick. So, when it came time for them to part and rejoin the real world, Jim handed Warrick the spare key to his house.

Warrick looked surprised, but he accepted the key with a smile. "Are you sure you want me to have this?"

"I'm sure!" Jim stated emphatically. "I know it's too soon to ask you to move in with me, but I want you to have the key. I want you to come over whenever you want and often, like every morning… If you want to? I'm not sure I can stand to be without you for very long. If you know what I mean?"

Warrick laughed, "Yeah, I know exactly what you mean. Don't worry. I don't think I can stand to be without you very long either, And I'll be over in the morning, after shift. You can count on it."

"Great!" Jim replied with a brilliant smile. His life had really taken a turn for the better. They parted ways, deliriously happy and sated for the moment, knowing that they'd be reunited first thing in the morning.

As Warrick drove home, his mind was in a whirl, but he no longer doubted that he was meant to be with Jim. No more uncertainty. Warrick had made his choice, for better or worse. He really dreaded going to work. He knew that he would eventually have to have a conversation with Gil, but he was not looking forward to it. Warrick never wanted to hurt Gil. He cared deeply for him, maybe even loved him in a way different form Jim. Warrick decided to cross that bridge when he came to it. There was no point in bringing himself down. Not after the exhilaration and the amazing highs he'd had over the weekend. He couldn't even think about it without getting hard again. He could still feel Jim's arms around him--the way he touched him--the way he kissed him. Too long to wait until the next time. What's a poor boy to do?

Warrick got paired with Nick that night at work. He was eternally grateful. Gil and Sara had been called in early and were already on a case. Warrick got a slight reprieve. He wouldn't have to talk to Gil for a little while longer.

Every now and then, while collecting evidence, Warrick would catch Nick smiling at him. Warrick got the sneaking suspicion that Nick was up to something. Once outside in the backyard, Warrick asked, "Ok, Nick. What's up?"

"What's up? I don't know. You tell me? You've been walking on air ever since we got here."

Warrick shook his had and mumbled, "have not."

"Have so." Nick countered. "I haven't seen you this happy in months. Hell… maybe never. I been expecting you to break into song all evening."

"You're full of it, Nick. I am not that damn happy. You're such a know it all. If you're such a genius--you tell me what's going on?"

"How should I know? But you act like you just got laid."

"Son of a bitch!"

"Ha, I'm right. You just got laid!" By this time, Nick was rolling.

"Shush, you idiot! Don't broadcast it to the whole damn neighborhood."

"There's nobody around. So, don't get your panties in a wad. Besides I'm dying to know who it is. Give it up, bro."

"I'm not telling."

"All right. I can play that game too. Let's see____ it was Jim!"

"You fucker! How'd you know that?"

"Because you have me to thank for it."

"How do you figure that?"

"Oh… I don't know. After all, I'm the one who invited him to the football game, and I might have mentioned to him that you were interested. You should have seen his face. I thought he was gonna pass out. He seemed quite pleased about the whole thing, though, as soon as he stopped hyperventilating."

"Oh my God! I ought to kick your ass all over Vegas! Why would you do something so damned stupid? How'd you even know I was interested in Brass?"

"Well… I think the first clue--was your pacing back and forth outside his hospital room for hours at a time. And then, there was the look of relief on your face when we found out he was gonna live. I won't even mention the fact, that you and him have been hanging all over each other, ever since he came back to work. Plus…"

"Oh, shut up! I get the picture. You're still a dickhead. I can't believe you took it upon yourself to mess with my love life! You set me up!"

"Right you are, Ricky."

"You're proud of yourself, aren't you?"

"Damn straight. Proud and pleased as punch."

"Hey, Nick. Um….. thanks."

"That's what friends are for." Nick replied with a grin. He knew what was best for his buddy, and he was always happy to help.

"Ah, Greg knows too. I kind of had to clue him in when we brought Jim to the football game."

"Thanks a lot."

"Don't mention it. I think we've wrapped here, so let's head back to the lab. Jim's probably waiting for you. How long has it been since you've seen each other?"

"Too damn long… over four hours now."

"Four hours?"

"Yup. I had a cup of coffee with him in the break room before we got our assignment."

"And you called me a dickhead."

"Serves you right, bro. It's what ya get for sticking your nose in other peoples business."

"Cry me a river. Come on, I'll race you back to the lab."

"No racing. I'm not getting a speeding ticket because of you, ace. So, I'll see ya later, unless I find Jim first."

"I'm crushed."

"You'll get over it. Greg is probably looking for you. How long have you two been apart?"

"About the same amount of time as you and Jim. I stole a quick kiss in the locker room before we left. Now, I think it's time for another one. I'll see ya later."

Warrick thought, 'I doubt it, not if you find Greg first.'

******

Gil and Sara arrived back at the lab about four a.m. They'd had a lot of evidence to collect and Sara was chomping at the bit to get at it. Gil left Sara to start processing it by herself, because he was in desperate need of a cup of coffee. He didn't mean to eavesdrop, but he couldn't help but overhear the tail end of a conversation between Warrick and Jim. Gil tried not to feel heartbroken and he steeled himself before entering.

Warrick and Jim were talking about their next night off and what they were going to do. Jim had mentioned something about a concert, but it was on Tuesday. Warrick couldn't go because his next night off was Wednesday. Jim was saying it was too bad and that he'd switch his night off to Wednesday, so he and Warrick could be together.

Gil cleared his throat as he entered the break room. He didn't want to startle them.

Jim looked up and took in the pained expression on Gil's face. It was only a fleeting look, but Jim had caught it. "Hey, Gil. Everything ok?" Jim asked.

Gil smiled, "Yes, but it's been a long night. I'm in desperate need of some coffee."

"Ah… I just made a fresh pot. Jim and I were thinking the same thing. Let me get you a cup."

"Thanks." Gil smiled at Warrick, but he looked sad.

Warrick smiled at Gil, but he looked guilty.

Jim stood back, crossed his arms and watched the whole scene unfold.

"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to eavesdrop on your conversation, but I overheard a part of it. I was thinking, Warrick… if you want Tuesday off, I can probably arrange it."

"Gil, I appreciate that, but you don't have to." Warrick said, biting his lip.

"It's not a problem. You and Sara can just switch shifts. She won't mind. She's always willing to switch. This job's her life. I'm headed back to the lab, so I'll ask her. Trust me. It'll be fine."

"Are you sure, Gil?"

"I'm sure. Nothing's too good for my favorite CSI." Gil replied on his way out of the break room, coffee in hand.

Jim noticed that Warrick had called Gil, Gil and not Gris. Warrick usually called Gil, Gris when they were at work. Jim was beginning to think that something wasn't quite right. The whole thing had seemed awkward, some how, but when he looked back at Warrick, he was beaming at him.

"Well, now--it seems we have Tuesday night off together after all. We can go to the concert."

"Yeah, that's great. I'm glad Gil showed up an helped us out."

"That was really lucky."

"Yup, it was, but I've got to get back to my office. Um… will I still see you this morning after shift."

"Of course. Why wouldn't you?"

"Well, I just thought, maybe you'd be too tired."

"Not a chance. I haven't been able to think about anything else. I missed you after we left the hotel."

"Me too. I'll see you at my place later." Jim leaned in a little closer and softly whispered, "I love you."

Warrick whispered back, "I love you too."

Jim made his way back to his office still thinking about their encounter with Gil. He just couldn't shake the feeling that he was missing something. He decided to let it go, because he had better things to think about. He remembered the look in Warrick's eyes when he said I love you too. Warrick was glowing and his eyes had been on fire and that one look from Warrick had made his dick hard.

******

Warrick left the break room and went back to the lab. There was no sign of Nick. 'He must've found Greg.' They were probably hold up in a broom closet somewhere. He wished he was too, with Jim, but the thought was slightly tainted by an image of Gil. He felt bad. Gil, obviously, knew. So, a conversation wasn't really necessary, but Warrick felt he owed Gil an explanation. He'd try and talk to him before he left for Jim's.

******

Warrick was getting ready to leave, but he took a walk by Gil's office, praying like mad that he wasn't in there. No such luck. Gil was sitting behind his desk. He was rubbing his forehead like he had a headache. Warrick entered quietly and walked up to the desk. He was concerned, because in the back of his mind he thought that he was responsible for Gil's headache.

Warrick reached over the desk and gently touched Gil's arm. Gil lifted his head and looked at Warrick through sad eyes. Warrick felt his heart sink.

"Gil, are you ok?"

"Ah… yes. I've just got a slight headache. I'm hoping it doesn't turn into a migraine."

"I'm sorry, Gil. I feel it's my fault."

"Don't be silly. It's not your fault. Why would you even think that?"

"Because of what you overheard between me and Jim."

"No, Warrick. It wasn't that. It was this case. It's been long and we're not even halfway through the evidence. Please, Warrick, sit down. My head is starting to hurt worse from looking up at you."

"Oh, sorry." Warrick sat down and sighed heavily. He didn't care what Gil said. He still thought that he was responsible for Gil's headache. Deep down, he knew that Gil was in love with him and he didn't know what to do to make the hurt easier.

"Gil, I wanted to talk to you about me and Jim. You were right all along. I really am in love with him, but I don't want to hurt you. You've always been here for me. No matter what--you've stood by me. I wouldn't even be here if it weren't for you. I love you, Gil. I always will."

"Warrick, you don't owe me any explanations. I know how you feel about Jim, and I know how he feels about you. It's obvious--that the two of you belong together. I told you--I'll be fine. I've never wanted anything but your happiness. Now stop fussing and go home. It's been a long night for everyone."

"Thanks, Gil. You know, if you ever need me--I'll be here for you."

"I know, Warrick. Now… go."

"I'll see ya tomorrow. Take care of that headache."

"I will. See you tomorrow."

Warrick left, but he was far from happy. He wanted to hold Gil and take all his pain away, but that wasn't possible. He'd made his decision and he knew it was the right one. Jim was everything and they were meant to be together. They had weathered a lot of storms and now, nothing could keep them apart.

******

Warrick used his new key to let himself into Jim's house. He didn't see Jim, but he could hear water running from somewhere down the hall. He entered the last bedroom on the left. There were candles lit on the bedside table and the bed was turned down. Warrick followed the sound of the water into the bathroom. Jim was in the shower all soaped up and looking hot. Warrick couldn't resist. He hurriedly stripped out of his clothes and joined his lover in the shower.

"Hi, baby. You look scrumptious."

"Hi, yourself. This is a nice surprise. It's been a long time since I've had company in the shower."

"Well, it's time we broke that trend." Warrick ran his hands all over Jim's body. He lathered him up and washed him from head to toe. When Jim was washed and rinsed, Jim did the same for Warrick. They were both hard and panting. Jim's hands began to run over Warrick's ass cheeks. He grabbed some conditioner and smeared it on his hands. He ran his hands up Warrick's crack and slid a slick finger inside. Warrick bucked and moaned. He stuck his ass further up in the air, so Jim could get better access. Jim turned him slightly and kissed him, all the while keeping up the stretching of his ass. Warrick broke off the kiss and pushed back against Jim's erection. Jim just couldn't wait another second. He slicked his cock with the leftover conditioner and shoved his cock in deep.

Warrick moaned, "Oh, fuck! Ah… feels so good."

Jim took his time, sliding out and plunging back in. His strokes were slow and rhythmic. He had one hand around Warrick's waist and the other one wrapped around his cock. It was almost like a slow dance, two bodies undulating to a slow song that only they could hear. It was so sweet and perfect. Jim wanted it to last forever, but he knew that was impossible. Warrick was just so hot and tight and each forward thrust was so fucking exquisite. Jim's ball were up in his throat when he heard Warrick scream his name, warm come coated his hand. One more thrust was all Jim could manage before exploding inside his lover. He collapsed against Warrick's back and kissed his neck. Warrick turned and held Jim in his arms. They stood there like that a long time, until the water started to grow cold.

They finally pulled themselves out of the shower and dried each other off. Jim asked Warrick if he wanted some breakfast, but that bed looked too damn inviting. Jim had been thinking the same thing. So, they blew out the candles, climbed into the bed and snuggled up face to face. They we're too spent to even think about more sex. They fell asleep in each others arms, knowing that when they woke up, they could start all over again.

******

Two months later, Jim and Warrick were still plugging along happily. They'd even begun to seriously discuss Warrick's moving in. Jim was all in favor of the idea and Warrick said he wanted to, but something was holding him back. Warrick thought that they should give it another month, and Jim had no choice but to agree. He didn't want to push Warrick into something he wasn't ready for.

Jim increasingly got the feeling that something was wrong between Warrick and Gil. Oh, they were still cordial to each other, but they're encounters seemed sad and awkward. Gil still protected Warrick fiercely and Warrick always had Gil's back, but it was strained. Jim finally came to the conclusion that Gil was in love with his man. He couldn't prove it, though. Warrick was still hot for him and life was good. Warrick came over every morning. They went everywhere together when they were off duty. Jim just couldn't get enough of him, and vice versa. The only time Warrick was withdrawn was when they were in the same room with Gil. Then his lover was almost always entirely silent and Gil never had much to say either. Jim didn't know what to do. He didn't even know how to broach the subject with Warrick. It might just be his imagination.

Warrick had eventually told Nick about the whole sordid affair. He related the entire fucked up mess, beginning with Catherine and ending with Jim. Warrick and Catherine's relationship had remained virtually unchanged, but his and Gil's had become awkward. Nick wasn't surprised. Gil could be really sensitive sometimes. Nick had always suspected that Gil had feelings for Warrick, but he never thought Gil would act on those feelings. Gil was just to reserved, always playing his cards close to his vest. This matter needed further study on Nick's part. So, he temporarily kept his advice to himself--simply saying, that things would work out.

One evening, late into their shift, Jim ran into Nick in the locker room. They exchanged their usual pleasantries and so forth. Nick had been planning to talk to Jim for awhile now, but just hadn't had the opportunity. This was as good a time as any, Nick thought.

"Hey, Jim. How are things going with you and Rick? He mentioned something about maybe moving in with you."

"Ah… things are great and yes, we've discussed his moving in, but it's not definite yet."

"Really? Warrick seemed pretty keen on the idea."

"He did?"

"Yeah. Is there a problem?"

"Look, Nick, if I tell you something--will you promise to keep it to yourself?"

"Of course."

"I think that Gil is in love with Rick. I gotta tell you, it's making me crazy."

"Jim, Warrick has told me many times that he's in love with you. I don't think you have anything to worry about."

"I know and I'm not worried about Warrick leaving me. I'm worried about Gil. I don't like to see him depressed. I know Warrick cares about him. I do too, and I just hate to see him hurt."

"Wow, that's really considerate of you. I'm not sure I'd be that understanding if Greg were involved. But, I do think you're right. I think Gil is in love with Rick. I've been watching him lately and he seems a bit withdrawn."

"Well, Nicky… you got any suggestions. I don't want to destroy Warrick and Gil's relationship. Hell… I don't want to destroy mine and Gil's relationship. It would be sad to throw away a friendship that's lasted this long. I don't have that many friends to begin with."

"Have you talked to Rick about it?"

"I don't know what to say. 'Hey, Rick. Gil's in love with you. What should we do?' Somehow, I don't think that would go over too well."

Nick laughed. "Probably not. However, I do have a suggestion--I've been thinking about it for a couple of weeks now, but you might not like it."

"What is it, Nick?"

"Ok. I think a part of Rick loves Gil too. Don't frown at me. Let me finish. I don't think he's head over heals or anything, just a gentle kind of loving. You know, the kind of caring love that develops over time and I think you feel the same way about Gil."

"What's your point, Nick."

"My point is--maybe you should talk to Gil. See if "maybe" he'd be willing to join you and Rick in your relationship."

"Are you saying we should become a threesome?" Jim asked incredulously.

"Why not? You all love and care for each other. I don't think you'd have a problem getting it up for Gil, and I don't think he'd have a problem getting it up for you."

"Nick, your mind's in the gutter."

"Can't help it, man. I've been with Greg too long. He rubs off."

"You can say that again. You're as crazy as he is. This would never work. Gil is too reserved for something like that. I'm not sure Rick would go for it either."

"Well…you won't know unless you ask. Invite Gil over or something and see what happens. It's not like you've got anything to lose. Warrick is hopelessly in love with you. It would take a crowbar to pry him lose from you."

"You know, sometimes Nick, I'm not sure if you're dumber than a box of rocks, or a fucking genius. I'll give it some thought."

"You do that, Jim."

Nick was smiling when he left the locker room. He'd planted the seed. Now, all he had to do was sit back and see if it would grow.

******

Two weeks later, Jim walked into Gil's office. Gil looked surprised to see him.

"Is something wrong, Jim." Gil asked almost nervously.

"Nope. Just wondered what you were doing after shift?"

"Just the usual. I'm going home. Why?"

"Well.. We haven't had much time to talk recently and I thought maybe you'd like to come over for breakfast?"

"To your house?"

"Yes."

"Who's going to cook?"

"I am."

"Um… what's Warrick going to be doing?"

"Actually, he's got court this morning and won't be home until later. I've gotten used to eating breakfast with someone. Plus, I really need to talk to you. It's important."

"Are you sure everything's alright?"

"Gil, everything's great. I promise. Now, come on. It'll be fun."

"Well… ok. I guess I could."

"Good. Follow me."

******

Warrick thought, 'fuck. This was a complete waste of my time.' Court had been cancelled. The perp had skipped town an nobody had bothered to notify him. This had taken a big chunk out of the time he could be spending with Jim.

Warrick was still pissed when he pulled into Jim's driveway. He saw Gil's car parked out front and wondered why Gil would be at Jim's. Maybe Gil was getting over it and he and Jim had decided to bury the hatchet. That would be a good thing.

Warrick didn't need to knock. He never knocked. Why should he? After all, he had a key. So, he slipped his key into the lock and let himself in. He dropped his keys on the hall table and strolled leisurely into the living room.

He stopped dead in his tracks, his mouth falling open. His heart sank to his knees. His eyes must be playing tricks on him, but no, Jim was on the sofa with Gil in his arms. It looked like Jim was trying to examine Gil's tonsils with his tongue.

Warrick gasped, "What the fuck!"

Where we left off.

Jim turned sharply at the sound of Warrick's voice. He released his hold on Gil and jumped to his feet. Warrick was standing with his mouth open, looking like he was about to pass out. Jim took a step forward, trying to get to his horror stricken lover, but Warrick shouted, "Don't fucking--come near me! How could you do this to me? You said you loved me and I was stupid enough to believe you!"

"Baby, please?

"Don't baby me."

"Rick, this isn't what it looks like. Please, let me explain?" Jim cried in desperation, but Warrick was steadily backing away from him.

Gil was on his feet now and moving toward the two men who were in a standoff, at this point.

"Warrick, please? Let us explain. I would never do anything to hurt you. I love you. This really isn't what it looks like. I have never lied to you and I never will."

Gil turned to Jim for a moment with a murderous look in his eye. "I knew this was a bad idea, Jim. I knew it the minute the words left your mouth. I should have listened to my instincts."

"Wait just a minute, Gil. This was not my idea. If you want to blame someone--blame Nick. This was his harebrained scheme."

"I should've known. I didn't think you could come up with something like this on your own." Gil replied shaking his head.

In the meantime, Warrick had been listening to their exchange and had become more and more confused. Jim and Gil didn't act like they were hopelessly in love with each other.

"What the hell has Nick got to do with this? Are you fucking him too?"

"Rick, stop right now. I am not sleeping with anyone but you. For Christ's sake, Rick, You're the love of my life. Do you honestly think I would throw that all away?"

"I don't know, but I know what I saw. You were kissing Gil." Warrick, by this time, had sagged against the nearest wall that he'd backed into and looked like he was about to cry.

Jim couldn't stand the look in Warrick's eyes and he finally rushed his distraught lover. He pinned Warrick with his weight and crushed his lips to his. Warrick basically fell forward into Jim's arms and kissed back with all he had. Jim broke the kiss and whispered in Warrick's ear. "love you. Love you so damn much. I couldn't bear to lose you."

Warrick put his arms around Jim and laid his head on his shoulder. Sniffling, he asked, "why were you kissing Gil?"

Gil answered it in a disgusted tone, "that's an excellent question. I'm not sure why myself anymore."

"You're not helping, Gil. If you can't say anything constructive then--shut the fuck up."

Jim moved his lover over to the sofa and sat him down. He held him and stroked his face. He placed tender kisses on his cheek and crooned to him. Warrick's breathing evened out and he relaxed into Jim's embrace.

"Should I leave?" Gil asked.

Jim looked up briefly and raised his eyebrow at Gil. "Sit down--in that chair--and don't move." Jim ordered.

"All right."

Jim returned his attention to Warrick, who was now looking at him. Jim saw that there was still a hint of anger in his eyes, but, at least, he was calm enough to listen to reason.

Jim began his tale of woe, "Baby, you gotta know, I love you more than anything. This whole thing was Nick's idea. He and I had a discussion a couple of weeks ago. I was concerned about Gil. I'd come to the conclusion that Gil was in love with you… And… well, Nick agreed. He thought that Gil was depressed because you and I were together and--I felt bad. I care about Gil and I know you do too. I think we both love Gil. Anyway, to make a long story short, Nick said that I should talk to Gil and maybe see if he wanted to become part of our relationship. He thought that we should try being a threesome. Baby, I know this is hard to believe, but I swear to God--it's the truth."

"Oh… I believe you. It's sounds exactly like something Nick would come up with. He's a fuckin idiot."

"Yeah, he is, but he made sense at the time. That's why Gil is here. I asked him over to talk about the whole thing and that… that kiss, that you walked in on was just an experiment. We have never been involved and that was the first time we'd ever kissed. It was just to see if there was any spark between the two of us. Rick, you can't deny that you have feelings for Gil. I see it every time you look at him. At the time, Nick's idea sounded reasonable to me."

"Warrick, I'm so sorry. I would never do anything to hurt you. Please, believe me? I'm not sure how I let Jim talk me into this, but.. Well, Jim can be very convincing when he puts his mind to it. My only concern is for your happiness. Jim, I really think I should go. You two need some time alone to work this out. I'm just sorry we upset you so. I would never intentionally do that. I love you, Warrick"

Jim looked at Warrick, who was looking at Gil. Gil was getting up from his chair with every intention of leaving.

"Wait, Gil. Don't go. I know you both meant well and Jim's right--I do love you. This was just such a shock. The last thing I expected was to walk in and find Jim kissing you. I wanted to kill the both of you."

"That's understandable." Gil replied.

Jim nodded to Gil, indicating the spot on the other side of Warrick. Gil hesitated for a moment, but, then decided to stay. He sat down on the sofa next to Warrick and took his hand in his. Jim was rubbing the back of his neck. Jim looked into Warrick's eyes and said, "I'm sorry I made you so unhappy. I didn't mean to, baby."

Gil whispered form Warrick's other side. "I'm sorry too, sweetheart."

Warrick sat back and eyed both of them warily. Jim was looking positively contrite and Gil was looking so unsure of himself, but Jim made the first move by leaning in and kissing Warrick sweetly. Warrick opened his mouth and let Jim slip his tongue inside. Jim opened his eyes briefly and gave Gil a look. Gil wasn't sure what it meant. He didn't know if he was supposed to kiss Warrick too, or maybe leave. So, he did nothing for the moment, not until Jim nudged him with the arm he had around Warrick. Gil finally got the hint and moved in closer to Warrick.

Gil began kissing the side of Warrick's neck and then running his tongue up and down his throat. Jim still had control of his lips and his tongue was doing sinful things inside his mouth. Warrick threw his head back, exposing more skin for Gil to get at.

Jim had pulled Warrick's shirt free of his pants and was running his hands underneath it and across Warrick's chest. Warrick's eyes were glazed in passion, and Gil was steadily increasing the pressure on his neck.

Warrick moaned and Jim pulled back. Jim began unbuttoning his shirt. Once unbuttoned, Gil pulled it off his shoulders. Warrick turned his head and looked at Gil. He could no longer resist the urge to kiss Warrick. He clamped his mouth over Warrick's, sucking gently on his bottom lip, and then licking it with his tongue. In the meantime, Jim had found a hard nipple and was working it between his teeth.

Warrick bucked up off the sofa and Jim climbed on top of him, pinning his hips between his legs. His head had fallen back into Gil's lap and he was gasping for breath. Jim smiled at his lover. He leaned down and kissed the tip of his nose. Jim slowly rose to his feet and pulled Warrick up with him. Gil went along for the ride. Jim pulled Warrick close and held him. "Baby, let Gil and I take you in the bedroom and show you just how much we love you. Would you like that, baby?"

"Oh, god. Yes!" Warrick moaned breathless.

Jim winked at Gil. Gil winked back. Jim pulled and Gil pushed their very pliant lover into the bedroom. Warrick was putting up no resistance. They got him on the bed and stripped off the rest of his clothes. Gil and Jim removed their own clothes and laid down beside him. Warrick was on his side facing Gil and Jim was spooned up behind Warrick. They were rocking in unison, and Jim's cock was sliding back and forth between Rick's ass cheeks. Gil was kissing Warrick, their tongues intertwined in a passionate duel. Gil pulled Warrick over on top of him and moaned, "Please, I want you to fuck me."

Warrick rasped, "Gil, are you sure?"

"Positive, sweetheart, positive."

"Works for me." Jim growled. "Just as long as I get to fuck you at the same time"

"Oh, fuck!" Warrick groaned out loud. The thought alone was almost enough to make him come. He definitely didn't want that, not until he was pounding inside of Gil.

Jim grabbed Warrick and kissed him hard. Then he leaned over and kissed Gil in the same dominant manner. He got up and retrieved the tube of lube out of the nightstand drawer and returned to his dazed lovers.

Jim handed the tube to Warrick and positioned himself behind him. Warrick opened the lube with shaking hands and squeezed out a generous amount. He resumed kissing Gil and then moved to suckle an earlobe. He began gently massaging Gil's entrance with his lubed fingers and when he felt it relax, he gently inserted one finger. He whispered in Gil's ear, "have you ever done this, Gil?"

Gil was breathless, but managed to answer, "No. never."

Warrick sat up and looked back at Jim for reassurance. Warrick was pretty large and he didn't want to hurt Gil.

"It'll be ok, baby. We just have to prepare him really well. Use a lot of lube. Come on. I'll help you."

Jim moved to Warrick's side and the younger man continued his preparation. He moved his finger in and out slowly at first, steadily increasing his pace. Gil seemed to tolerate it well. In fact, he was begging for more. So, Warrick pulled out and pushed back in with two fingers. Gil gasped and Warrick stopped, giving him time to adjust to the intrusion. Soon enough, though, Gil was pushing down on those fingers and wiggling his ass around to get more sensation. In the meantime, Jim had lubed his own fingers and was now sucking on Gil's left nipple. Gil was insane with pleasure. He never, ever felt anything so good.

Warrick pulled back and inserted three fingers, stopping once again to let Gil adjust. Gil was stroking Warrick's cock, trying to pull it closer to his hole, but Warrick held back. He had to be sure Gil was ready. With three fingers in, Jim moved lower on the bed and inserted one of his fingers into Gil's ass. He knew exactly which way to turn it, and when he hit the spot, Gil cried out in ecstasy.

Jim inserted one more finger and he and Warrick worked Gil in tandem. Tears had started to stream down Gil's face. He was beyond needy and beyond words. Jim pulled his fingers out and nudged Warrick. "He's ready. Take him, baby."

Warrick didn't need to be told twice. He threw Gil's legs over his shoulders and inched his way in slowly.

Gil clenched his teeth, so Warrick held steady until Gil took a deep breath and gave a tentative push back on his own. Warrick rose up on his knees and slid a little further inside of Gil. He brushed Gil's prostrate on the way down. That did it. Gil bucked upward and Warrick found himself up to his balls inside of Gil.

It was pure heaven, but it was just the beginning. As soon as he thought he had himself under control, Warrick felt Jim's lubed fingers probing at his hole. He felt one slip in, followed closely by a second. Jim was draped over his back, sucking on his neck and working his ass in a frenzy.

"Jesus, Jim! That feels so fucking good. Oh, God! Harder. I need more!' Warrick cried as he pulled back and thrust into Gil.

Warrick tried to go slow, but Gil had had enough of slow. He pleaded, "Warrick, please! Harder, please, please?"

Warrick lowered his head and kissed Gil before saying, "If that's what you want?"

"Oh, God. Yes! Need it!"

Warrick started pounding into Gil faster and faster, and that's when he felt Jim Slam into him from behind. Jim didn't go slow. He plunged his cock in up to the hilt and began matching Warrick's thrusts into Gil.

The sweat poured off each man and their moans and cries could be heard down the block. It was all so hot and decadent. Warrick was slamming into to Gil and fisting his cock, While Jim pounded furiously into his ass. The double pleasure was almost too much. Warrick wasn't sure if he'd survive this. But damn, what a way to go.

Gil came first, helped along by the added pressure that Jim was providing. His come shot out covering Warrick's hand and chest. His asshole tightened around Warrick's cock. Warrick could feel the tightening in his balls and his ass was on fire. Jim picked that moment to pull almost all the way out and then slam back into Warrick, fucking him with short carefully place jabs.

Warrick screamed and shot his load deep inside Gil. This immediately sent Jim into orgasm. He shook and jerked until Warrick's tight ass had extracted every last drop from Jim's cock.

Gasping for air, Warrick let his softening cock slip slowly out of Gil's body. When he looked down, Gil was unconscious, but smiling. Warrick turned his head to look at Jim who was easing his cock out of his ass. It came out with a pop. Warrick groaned as his own cock twitched slightly. Warrick looked down at it and Said, "Don't even think about it."

Warrick climbed off Gil and went into the bathroom. He retuned with a warm wash cloth and gently cleaned Gil up. Jim, meanwhile, had gone into the bathroom to clean himself up.

Warrick laid down next to Gil, and gently kissed him. The exhausted man was only able to open one eye, but that eye was twinkling. Jim came back and laid down on Gil's left side. He teasingly, blew in Gil's ear. Warrick just grinned at him.

Gil got his breath back and in no uncertain terms told Jim to stop that. "I don't think I'll be ready again for a while."

"That's too bad. I was hoping I'd get a crack at you."

"Do you want me to be able to walk tonight?" Gil asked with mock seriousness.

"Is it absolutely necessary." Jim asked with a smirk.

"It is if they want me to do any work tonight."

Warrick piped up, "We could always call in sick."

"All of us. Don't you think that would look just a tiny bit suspicious?"

"Must you always be so damn logical, Gil. I think Warrick has a great idea."

"Well… could we sleep on it for a while. This wasn't what I expected when I got invited to breakfast. Don't get me wrong, it was incredible, but I'm afraid it's done me in."

"Ok, Gil. Sleep now and when you wake up--Warrick and I will take you on an adventure in the shower. How's that sound?"

"Like I might not make it to work after all."

"Yeah, but it'll be worth it. I'm hell in the shower." Warrick said grinning.

"He's not kidding."

"Um… sounds like a good plan." Gil said sleepily."

They all snuggled up close to each other and in turn, fell into an exhausted sleep.

Warrick's last thought before sleep claimed him was, 'too much lovin, not enough hours in the day.'

What's a poor boy to do?

Somewhere, in another part of town, Nick was buried balls deep inside Greg's ass when a stray thought struck him. 'I wonder how Warrick, Jim and Gil are doing?'

The End
