Guess mine is not the first heart broken; my eyes are not the first to cry.

Sara took one look at him and dragged him to Maddie's. They ordered pancakes and Greg drowned his in syrup and stabbed them with a fork.

"I hate him," he announced.

"Did he say no?"

"He didn't say anything." Greg scowled at the jukebox in the corner. "I hate this music. He makes me feel like this jukebox."

Sara did her eyebrow thing and Greg mimed sticking the fork in his eyeball.

"I feel like a gay country song," he pouted. "I'm a fucking show tune."

Sara offered him her bacon, smirking.

"Grease?"

"There are worse things I could do..."

Here's the thing: we started off friends.

Nick scanned the breakroom for the fourth time: Cath, Warrick, Griss, and Sara, who gave him a look he didn't want to think too hard about. No Greg, though.

"Boy wonder still on vacation?" Warrick asked. Nick tried not to stare so intently at Grissom for his answer.

He cornered Sara in the hall and got an address and a cold stare. He'd explain later, make her see that he wasn't some homophobic Texan stereotype. In the meantime: Greg.

Then he was in Greg's doorway, apologizing.

"Are we still friends?" Greg asked.

"No," he said, and crushed him with kisses.
