Nick wasn't very good at cooking, but he figured he'd give it a shot that morning. His boy had a rough night on the job; he knew this based on a tired and slightly teary phone call at about 4:40 that morning, so Nick wanted to have a nice homey breakfast to welcome Greg when he got home. Everything looked almost ready to go, all that was left to cook were the biscuits homemade from his mother's recipe. Those would go in as soon as Greg walked in the door.

It was almost 9 when a weary and somber Greg unlocked the door to Nick's house, which for all intent and purpose was now his as well, and saw the most beautiful sight in the world: Nick standing in the kitchen with just pajama pants and an apron on. It made him laugh a little, as it was the ruffled aloha print one that Catherine picked up for them when she was in Hawaii last month as a joke. Nick rarely wore an apron, since he never cooked but in this one he looked just perfect.

"Hey baby...long night?" Walking over to take his boyfriend in his arms, Nick kissed those lips he could never get enough of and had missed since 10pm the night before because he had the evening off.

"Hi yourself. What smells so good, besides you?" Laughing, Nick guided Greg to the counter to show him the spread that he was making for him.

"I decided to make you a nice meal before you went to sleep. A good breakfast always makes me feel better."

"Aw...thank you Nicky. What did I do to deserve such a great guy as you?" Kissing his boyfriend's lips, Nick smiled at him before letting Greg go to put the tray of cut up biscuits into the oven. Greg walked over to the stereo to turn on some music as background for their meal, and out blared a Barry White tune. Nick recognized it as 'Can't Get Enough of Your Love'. "Ooh...I love this song. What do you think Nicky?" As he shut the stove door, Nick watched his lover dancing in the living room, so he moved over out of the kitchen to get a better look at the twisting torso and shimmying hips he loved.

"I think I am liking it very much, especially with the pre-meal floor show." A sly smile came over Greg's face and he got a crazy idea. Nick had done a very nice strip tease for him a few days before, and since he was going to get undressed for bed after breakfast anyway, he thought he may as well do it now. First came the shirt, and the look on Nick's face was priceless; a combination of surprise and lust was turning Greg on in return.

"My darling I.... can't get enough of your love...babe..." Greg was singing as he carefully and methodically undid his belt, then the button and zipper of his pants, all while shaking his lower body to the beat of the music. Nick sauntered over to the chair in front of Greg and sat down to enjoy the spectacle in front of him. The black jeans pooled at Greg's feet then were kicked off to join the T-shirt in front of the couch; then he began to wiggle his boxer-covered ass in front of his boyfriend's handsome face. "You like that Nicky?"

"Oh yeah...that's good G. " Even if he hadn't answered, it was pretty clear that Nick did, judging by the bulge growing in his pajama pants. Nick thought he smelled something, but was so enthralled by Greg's lap dance, the thought flew out of his head as fast as it had come in. Just as the boxers printed all over with little yellow ducks were about to come off of Greg's hips, Nick heard a loud and panicked voice above him.

"Nick! Something's burning!" Turning towards the kitchen, Nick could see the black smoke snaking its way out of the oven. Jumping from his chair, he ran to see what damage was; and not only was there smoke billowing in their faces from the door that was now open, but it was wafting over onto the fresh fruit and the egg and sausage casserole that were sitting on the counter. Pulling the tray from the oven, Nick dropped it into the sink and turned the faucet on. Once the biscuits were nice and soggy in the sink, he started the garbage disposal and got rid of the burnt dough, but a little bit of smoke and smell still lingered. "I'm sorry I distracted you Nicky." All of a sudden, the Stokes smile grew across his boyfriend's face and then a little laugh came from him too.

"This is why I don't cook very often G. I just forget things...like setting the timer." Picking up the casserole and sniffing it to make sure it was still good, Greg set it in the fridge and took Nick's hand.

"Well I appreciate the thought babe. Hey...let's go lie down for a little while; we can always make more biscuits later."

As Greg pulled his boy with him to the bedroom, Nick thought if he was going to get this kind of reaction out of Greg, he'd have to try and cook more often.
