As I step out of my Denali and head for the entrance I notice all seems quiet in the Las Vegas CSI department, the car park almost free of cars apart from my own makes you wonder if anyone else is working today. The sliding doors not sliding fast enough and so I stop before I go before I find the labs empty, the only sign of life the blue tinted lights silently flicking down from above. I pass penniless drink machines that stand sidelining the empty corridors and notice the office doors closed and seemingly locked from the outside.

But walking past the many empty labs and the closed office doors I find myself heading toward the very neck of the building where another door stands at ajar inviting anyone with the slightest curiosity closer. So approaching the door, I am surprised to find it occupied with raised voices and even screaming, ear piercing and sharp against the blunt background that was now behind me.

"Sofia, don’t you dare!"

"You don’t think I would?"

Stopping at the door I wonder if I'm about to interrupt something I shouldn't but holding that thought I over hear the rest of the conversation before I have the chance to turn back.

"You wouldn’t"

"Try me!"

"That’s it!"

*Screaming*

"Ow!"

*More screaming*

Now I have visions on them rolling around together I can't turn away, so I push the door open enough to see what all the noise is about, I see Sofia stood on the sofa with one hand holding something in the air and the other fighting Sara off with a clip board. Sara, flapping her hands like a girl snorts every time Sofia hits her with her chosen weapon. So much for rolling around!

After a few moments of gathering myself I decide to break up the party and open the door, hand on hip and pouting. Going unnoticed I decide to announce myself in that orderable tone that always has them dribbling "Girls, girls, girls, what in the name of ‘all things good’ is going on in here?"

Sara looks over first and gets caught on the head with a final smack of the clipboard "Ow!" she complains whilst eyeballing Sofia and looking back at me and indeed dribbling much to my satisfaction. One out of two isn't bad!

Sofia smiles "Catherine. Hi!" I smirk back; make that two out of two!

Before I know it Sara is attempting to reach for Sofia’s other hand and Sofia being the dark horse hides it in her back pocket all the while laughing and teasing her, which actually makes me dribble just watching!

Wiping my dribble with the back of my hand I take a step inside and call for a time out! "Sofia, how about you put the weapon down and put your hands where I can see them?" I say all in Sara’s defence, and prey to god that Sofia doesn't use one of her tooth pic's on me!

Sara smirks at me "Hi Cath!" and as Sofia frowns and drops the clipboard Sara attacks her back pocket in search of what it was Sofia was trying to hide.

I move quickly toward her afraid that she might have been knocked out "Hey, you ok?" but she seems unhurt and so I help straighten out her shirt for her.

"I’m fine!" Sofia say's swatting my hands away, obviously very much OK and quite capable of dusting herself off without my help.

"Well, of course she’s fine!" Sara adds a mater of fact which causes Sofia and I fall silent at the comment.

"Right well that’s enough" I break the moment as I pull at my own shirt for feeling hot around the collar "You two should not be beating each other up over something…" I pause "…wait what is this over?" and before they have time to answer I'm reaching for Sofia’s back pocket and pulling out two tickets to see "Come to mama!" I snort.

"Lucy Lawless in the flesh!" Sara said snatching them back and cradling them against her chest.

"Denial is not a river in Egypt, Sara!" Sofia say’s attempting to snatch them back failing miserably.

"I don’t get it!" I refer to both Lucy Lawless and the comment "There’s two tickets and two of you, so what are you fighting over them for?"

"She’s taking Gil, not me!" Sofia say’s in a ridiculously high pitched tone.

"He is my Boyfriend!" Sara defends.

Sofia picks up the clip boad again and hits her on the bum!

"OW!"

"Denial!"

They continue to argue whilst I hold a hand to my mouth, the thought of Sara and Grissom making me feel sick. I decide it’s time to straighten Sara out… (So to speak) and I take her by the arm "Sara, honey, listen…" I begin but I am cut off by Sofia snatching the tickets and running away.

Sara somehow grabs Sofia’s wrist and in the mist of the moment I take Sofia’s handcuffs from her belt and attach them to each of their wrists and stand there pouting until they notice.

Stopping them in their fight they silently look at the handcuffs, then each other and then me. Sofia smiles and reassures Sara she has the key, at which point I am heading toward the door swinging Sofia’s keys in my hand.

And as I walk away and back through the lifeless corridor I over hear their conversation of their plans to get the key to the handcuffs back, because god forbid they will actually have to go to see Lucy Lawless together, in handcuffs of course!

Slapping Sara away Sofia loses her balance and falls off of the sofa with a scream followed by a slap as her face hits the floor.
