Title: Heart Worth Breaking
Author: The Other Liz
Pairing: Calleigh/Natalia
Fandoms: CSI: Miami
Rating: G
Disclaimer: I don't own them b/c if I did and i was hiring the writers and approving scripts... your ratings would be nonexistant because it would be the only show on TV after obliterating everything else. I clearly do not own "Blister in the Sun" or the Violent Femmes *snickers at the name* it was written by Gordon Gano. yeah.
Author's Note: Random loud, tear filled arguments leading to sitting in ones car for a few hours with the radio blaring at times leads to hearing one of ones favorite songs and since it is Monday and there was a lil' DuVista love on the ep tonight... *shrug* where else was my brain to go?
Warning: I'm not altogether sure this could be filed under angsty... just a random drabble that my brain needed to spit out.
Sunnary: Um? What the song is about is not how this fic flows... if you know Calleigh and her backstory then it'll sorta make sense... *shrug* Complete

Brown eyes filled with tears as bloodshot green ones followed her every move.

Never made it as a wise man
I couldn't cut it as a poor man stealin'
Tired of livin' like a blind man
I'm sick inside without a sense of feelin
And this is how you remind me
This is how you remind me
Of what I really am

"Please... Talia..."

"Don't... Calleigh...I..."

Tears flowed freely now from both.

"I'm sorry Cal... sorry I wasn't enough for you."

It's not like you to say sorry
I was waiting on a different story
This time I'm mistaken
For handing you a heart worth breakin'
I've been wrong, I've been down
To the bottom of every bottle
Despite words in my head
Scream "Are we having fun yet?"
Yet?, Yet?, Yet?, no no

"Talia don't leave me here..." the blonde reached for her lover, partner, the one her soul and heart sang for. "I love you."

Brunette hair streaked with golden strands fell onto a tear soaked face.

It's not like you didn't know that
I said I love you and I swear I still do
It must have been so bad
Cause living with me must have damn near killed you
This is how you remind me
Of what I really am

"I can't do this anymore."

"Talia... I need you... I can't do this alone."

Her jade eyes searched the chocolate ones across from her. Hoping, searching... pleading for one last chance.

Never made is as a wise man
I couldn't cut it as a poor man stealing
And this is how you remind me
This is how you remind me

This is how you remind me
Of what I really am
This is how you remind me
Of what I really am
It's not like you to say sorry
I was waiting on a different story
This time I'm mistaken
For handing you a heart worth breakin'
I've been wrong, I've been down
To the bottom of every bottle
Despite words in my head
Scream "Are we having fun yet?"
Yet?, Yet?, Yet?, no no

"You're everything to me, I love you... I can't do this alone... please."

Mouths crashed into each other. Searching, hoping... pleading for the passion to be returned. Clothes were left trailing up stairs and across the hall. Two bodies; one bronzed and one sun kissed peaches, fighting for dominance. Cries of passion echoing against the waves crashing outside. One last chance given from one heart to another. The chance taken, victory presiding this time.
