He hadn't planned on getting into a relationship, but nonetheless, it was happening.

Jordan sighed softly as he and Zeke existed the restaurant, knowing that he would have to tell Zeke about having his identity stolen, and all that had happened since then.

Would Zeke understand? He hoped so; he didn't want to think that this man who he was falling so hard for would be the kind of person who wouldn't believe him, who would think that he really had stolen from the company he'd worked for. Zeke couldn't be like that.

Still, it wasn't going to be easy for him to explain what had happened. It all sounded so fantastical, so unbelievable. It didn't seem as though it could really happen.

But it had happened to him, and he didn't know how to stop it.

Maybe he had bitten off more than he could chew by getting himself emotionally involved with anyone. This wasn't the right time for him to get into any kind of a relationship.

Still, he couldn't help himself, and he knew that he wasn't going to stop the forward momentum of this relationship. He was far too attracted to Zeke for that; it would have been impossible for him to put on the brakes at this point. Things had already gone too far between them.

Jordan had to smile a little at that thought. Zeke hadn't even kissed him yet; they were simply walking to his apartment building after their first date. The kiss that he was sure would take place would come later, when they were standing in front of his door, bidding each other good night.

He knew that it was going to happen, as surely as he knew his own name. It was inevitable, just as one day following the next was sure to happen.

He might have bitten off more than he could chew, but he was going to handle it.

"Here we are," he said quietly as their steps slowed in front of his apartment building. He turned to Zeke with a smile, opening his mouth to invite the other man upstairs.

Jordan was arrested by the expression on Zeke's face. He had never seen such an expression of naked desire on anyone's features before -- and that desire was all for him. It was obvious that Zeke wanted him as much as he wanted Zeke. It was written in his gaze.

He didn't ask Zeke if he wanted to come up to his apartment; he merely took the other man's hand, leading him inside the building and up the stairs.

He intended to take a big bite of the present, and let the future take care of itself.
