"Mick, you're killing me," Josef groaned as Mick collapsed on top of him, both of them gasping for breath. "How many times do you think I can come in one night? I know we haven't had sex in two days, but you can't be that horny."

"You'd be amazed to find out just how horny I am," Mick whispered, lowering his head to brush a kiss across Josef's lips. "I can keep going, y'know. That's one great thing about being a vampire. No refractory period to worry about. I don't have to stop."

"If you don't, I'll be too sore to walk in the morning," Josef protested with a laugh. "Now you know one of the reasons why I've always said that vampires and humans shouldn't mate. Humans can't deal with things like this. They're way too fragile."

"Fragile?" Mick raised an eyebrow as he propped himself up on one elbow and looked down at his lover. "I don't think so. Some of them are, but there are a lot of humans who'd love to snag a man with the kind of staying power we have."

Josef laughed, nodding reluctantly. "Yeah, I guess you're right about that. But what I say still stands. I've never met a human who could keep up with me. They try, but they give out too soon. Which is one of the myriad reasons why I've never gotten serious with one."

Mick nodded, not wanting to mention Sarah. But then, Josef admitted that he'd never slept with her; after all, their little romance had been at a time when women didn't sleep around. Though Sarah had been the exception to the rule; she'd actually tried to sleep with Josef.

He hadn't done it, though. He'd wanted to protect her reputation, and he'd been careful. Mick was glad of that; if he'd slept with that lying slut, then he might have ended up being able to turn her after all, and his life -- and consequently Mick's as well -- would be a living hell.

That wasn't something he needed to think about now, Mick told himself firmly, pushing the thought away. He was here, with Josef, in bed with the man he loved. He was the only person Josef wanted to be with, the only person he would ever be with.

"How many times have I made you come tonight, anyway?" he asked, smiling as he watched his lover stretch out beside him. He loved seeing Josef so utterly sated and happy; knowing that he was the cause of that happiness made his heart sing.

"Four, at last count," Josef informed him with a grin. "Y'know, if you keep on, I'll be too chafed to walk in the morning. Not that I have to worry about walking, since I'll be sitting on my ass in a business meeting. So I guess a few more times isn't going to hurt anything."

Mick didn't need any other urging to take Josef into his arms again; no other lover had ever driven him to the heights of desire that Josef did. He pressed gentle kisses down Josef's throat, burying his face against the other man's shoulder before continuing down his chest.

Josef groaned as Mick nibbled at first one small nipple, then the other, until they were both hardened and throbbing under his tongue. He loved arousing Josef this way, working his way down the other man's body until his boyfriend was writhing and begging for more.

His lips moved lower as Josef's body arched upwards, his senses filled with the presence of the man who lay beneath him. Making love to Josef was always like this; he surrendered himself to the other man just as much as Josef did to him.

Their lovemaking wasn't a matter of him taking and Josef giving; it was a joining of their hearts and souls, as well as their bodies. No one had ever made him feel this way, as though he was becoming part of the person he was making love with.

Mick made his way slowly down Josef's body, kissing the soft flesh of one inner thigh before taking the tip of Josef's cock into his mouth and sucking gently. The action brought a gasp of pleasure from Josef's throat, making Mick's gaze flick upwards to see the look on his lover's face.

Josef had never looked more beautiful or more desirable to him. The other man's cheeks were flushed, his hair disheveled, his lips slightly parted. His dark eyes were closed, but Mick knew that if they opened and their gazes met, he would be frozen in place by those mesmerizing eyes.

He took more of Josef's cock into his mouth, bobbing his head up and down, his lips sliding along the thick shaft. He loved doing this; he'd never thought that he was much good at giving blow jobs, but Josef swore that he was better at it than anyone he'd ever been with.

Sliding his hands under Josef's ass, he lifted the other man's hips slightly, loving the feel of those firm ass cheeks in his palms. How had he gotten so lucky as to have this beautiful man in his life, in his arms, in his bed? Fate must have smiled on him.

He could feel Josef's body stiffening, his muscles tightening. It was time for him to move ahead; if he spent too much time at this, Josef would come far too quickly, and that wasn't what he wanted. He wanted to satisfy both of them, make this last as long as he possibly could.

There was no need to reach for the lube on the table by the bed; Josef was still slick and opened from their last bout of lovemaking, and Mick was sure that they'd have no need for more lube than had already been used. And besides, there was no way he could hold himself back now.

Sliding into Josef always felt incredible; it was as though he was exactly where he belonged, united with the one person he could ever truly love. The union of their bodies went beyond the physical for him, moving into the realm of the spiritual.

Did it feel that way for Josef, too? The thought flashed across Mick's mind before the first wave of pleasure hit him, driving every other conscious thought back; there was nothing else in his mind other than the intensity of what he was feeling.

Was it possible for the two of them to melt into each other, to become part of each other's bodies? Mick could have sworn that was exactly what was happening; the pleasure didn't fluctuate, it only increased by degrees, until it was at a fever pitch.

Another thrust, then another. It wouldn't take long for them to both reach their peak; then they would come floating back down to the ground amidst a shower of sparks, the afterglow of their lovemaking staying with them long after the actual act was over.

Mick already felt giddy with desire, lightheaded and dizzy from the heights that they were lifted to. He'd never felt like this with anyone else; only Josef had the power to give him this pleasure, to lift him to these heights of passion that he'd never believed possible.

His climax washed over him almost before he realized what was happening; dimly, he felt Josef's thighs tightening against his sides, his boyfriend's muscles clenching around him, and knew that Josef had found his own release as well.

He had to concentrate to hold himself up and not collapse on top of Josef, though he was sure that he would be welcomed if he decided to rest his weight on his lover. Josef's arms and legs were already twined around his body, so it felt as though they were one entity.

Mick buried his face against Josef's shoulder, sliding his arms around his lover's waist as he shifted his position, turning over onto his side and being careful not to pull out of Josef yet. He wanted them to stay entwined, to be a part of each other for as long as they could.

No wonder the French called an orgasm a "little death," he thought, taking a deep breath and inhaling the tangy scent of Josef's skin. From the way their hearts beat so rapidly against each other, it almost felt as though they were dying, drawing their last breaths.

But he wasn't dying; he was locked in Josef's embrace, feeling more vital and alive than he ever had. His boyfriend always had the power to do that to him; making love with Josef made him feel invigorated, his senses alert and opened, alive to the world.

"That was amazing," he finally managed to say, raising a hand to brush an errant lock of hair away from Josef's eyes. "Think you'd be up for that again in a little while? Or have you had enough for tonight?" His tone was teasing, though the question was entirely serious.

"I think I might be persuaded to go for it again," Josef told him with a laugh. "But you might have to give it a while, Mick. Vampires are pretty resilient, but I'm getting tired. And I've got a meeting in the morning. Don't want to show up for that with a muddled brain from no sleep."

"Or dark circles under your eyes," Mick said, trying not to laugh. "I think we'd better slow it down for tonight. But there's always tomorrow night. And the next night, and the next ...." His voice trailed off into a happy sigh as he thought of all the nights in their future.

Josef nodded, resting his head against Mick's shoulder with a soft, contented sigh. Somehow, Mick was fairly sure that this wouldn't be the last time they made love tonight, despite what Josef had said, and that there were more little deaths in store for them before sunrise.
