Captain Jack: Yes.
Beth: Your bedside manner's rubbish.

Captain Jack: clears throat

(Flashback)

Two nights previous to the cell's attempted take over, Jack and Ianto sat in the stark white apartment of the latter man.
They were heading to bed when Jack suggested a night-cap. That was one-half-hour ago.

The Torchwood members were now up to seven drinks a piece.

"Would you like to accompany me to the bedroom?" Jack asked, barely buzzed.

"How can you speak so...articulate...ly?" Ianto slurred.

"Come on, Yant..." Jack hoisted Ianto up and muttered, "Seven drinks? Lightweight." under his breath.

"Oh...your sooooo...nice, Jack." Ianto's drunken voice dripped with sarcasm.

"Here then." Jack scoffed and shoved Ianto into the bed.
The Welshman curled up on his bed and fell asleep.
Jack chuckled softly under his breath and started to strip his clothing.

The next morning, when Ianto woke up he was greeted, as per-usual, by Jack's arm around him, but what he was't used ot was having his clothes on and being on-top of the blankets.

"Jack?" He shoved the man beside him.

"Yant...I'm sleepy." Jack's arm tightened slightly and then relaxed. He had fallen back to sleep. Ianto wasn't going to take that.

"Jack!" Ianto shoved him again.

"Ianto!" Jack mocked, surprised.

"Why am I here?"

"Where? I bed? Well, I put you-"

"No," Ianto interrupted,"Why am I on the blankets?"

"Oh, yeah. You were drunk, after seven drinks mind you, and you wouldn't cover up. No my fault."

"Oh, yeah because my boyfriend shouldn't take care of me when I'm intoxicated!" Ianto squeaked.
Jack just shrugged.

"It's a good thing your sexy, because if you weren't..." Ianto trailed off.

"If not...you wouldn't be dating me in the first place." Jakc grinned and wrapped his arm around Ianto again.

"I'm sorry, Yant. Now get to sleep."
Ianto melted, weak.
He burrowed into the blankets and leaned against Jack's warmth...
-

"IANTO!" Jack snapped.

"What? Yes, right." The tea-boy sat up straighter in his chair.

"A little out of it, Ianto?" Gwen asked, whispering.

"A little. Someone kept me up all night." He turned back to his boss and glared.

"What?" Jack asked grinning.
