-Meat (Of The Alien Variety)

Gwen sat on the couch in the Hub. She was telling Ianto about a conversation Jack and she had had others were on a Weevil run. There was sighting, and Tosh said that rift activity had jumped. Jack resolved to go and check it out. He left Gwen and Ianto to watch the Hub.
Ianto sat in one of the chairs, leaning over the arm.

"And then what?" He urged on.

"Jack said," Gwen let out a stifled giggle. "'He seemed to like it.' Isn't that bloody gross?" Both Torchwood members laughed, though Ianto wondered, "Which one?"

"Jealousy doesn't become of you, Yant." Jack would say.

"I wonder what he would say if I asked him which one.." Ianto said out loud. Gwen giggled.

"Do Time-Lords count?" commented the Captain from behind his employees.

"Didn't hear the door, or even the sidewalk." Ianto said without turning.

"Tunnels. We were underground and thought," Jack looked a tired Tosh and an even more annoyed Owen,
"'What the hell! Why not just go home a little late, its Friday anyway?"'

"I'm going home. Bloody hell its 5 A.M.! I'll be in later." Owen walked out the door, forgetting his jacket.
Tosh noticed this.

"I'll go give this to him, then head home myself. Bye, guys." Toshiko waved and left.

"I should leave too. Rhys be wondering where I've been. Call me later if you want me to come in." Gwen yawned and smiled at the boys.
"Bye." and she rushed out the cog-rolling door.

There was a comfortable silence until Ianto's arms wrapped around Jack's neck.

"Within three minutes of entering the building, you seem to have cleared them out." Ianto smirked.

"You amaze even me, Jack."

"I would think after all this time, you would be used to my un-canny abilities." Jack commented.

"Nope, you never cease to surprised me." Ianto leaned forward and kissed Jack gently, pulling back only slightly.

"So who was it?" he whispered.

"Why do you want to know?" Jack stared into Ianto's eyes. Curiosity and a bit of jealousy flickered there. Internally, Jack smiled. Aloud, he sighed.

"It would take way too long to explain. Lets just say that the aphrodisiacs in the Vegas galaxy have a ...controlling quality." Jack smiled sadly.

"Oh...I had no idea. Are you okay, love?" Ianto's hand left Jack's waist and stroked the side of his face.

"Yes, Yant, I'm fine. It was 200 years ago. I've had time to cope." Ianto's face dropped.

"But it was lovely that you were worried." Jack sneaked a peck on the lips, and grinned.

Ianto smiled back.

"So you want to go home then?" he suggested.
Jack's grin widened.

"Why, Ianto, it seems as though you are trying to get me to into bed."

"Does it now?" Ianto mocked thought,"Are you going to play along?"

"Ofcourse!" Jack exclaimed.

"Naturally."
